Hello.
If you have to choose between Nadia and Naomi, which one would you choose and WHY.
Thanx
[name_f]Nadia[/name_f]. I love the sound, the meaning (hope) and well, I guess it helps that I have all positive associations with this name.
Oh, goodness, this is a tough one. First off: The name I’d eliminate right off the bat is [name_f]Naomi[/name_f]. It’s not that it isn’t a lovely name, it’s just that I don’t like the sound as much as the other two. As for [name_f]Lydia[/name_f] and [name_f]Nadia[/name_f], they’re both two of my favorite names ever, so deciding is excruciating. However, I think I’d go with [name_f]Nadia[/name_f]. I slightly prefer the sound of [name_f]Lydia[/name_f], but its popularity is a concern and I prefer the meaning of [name_f]Nadia[/name_f].
I vote for [name_f]Nadia[/name_f]. My second choice would be [name_f]Naomi[/name_f]. I love the sound of [name_f]Nadia[/name_f] and it is more unexpected than the other two. I have only known one [name_f]Nadia[/name_f].
Another vote for [name_f]Nadia[/name_f]! [name_f]Naomi[/name_f] would be second choice but [name_f]Nadia[/name_f] sounds lovely and is a bit more unexpected.
I would pick [name_f]Naomi[/name_f] for sound, but [name_f]Nadia[/name_f] since it’s less common.
I prefer [name_f]Naomi[/name_f].
[name_f]Naomi[/name_f]! It’s such a great name and I love the sound
I would choose [name_f]Nadia[/name_f] because I love the meaning
[name_f]Nadia[/name_f]!! I love the meaning, the sounds and the look of it
Oh man, this is a tough one. I have always loved [name_f]Naomi[/name_f]. i just think it’s super sweet and I love the meaning of it. [name_f]Nadia[/name_f] is super pretty as well, but I think it could have some pronunciation issues. I pronounced it wrong for a long time, anyway. Maybe I’m the only one. lol. [name_u]Delaney[/name_u] is cute, but it’s my least favorite.
[name_f]Naomi[/name_f]! It just sounds so fresh and unique.
Ok guys, so we finally decided on [name_f]Naomi[/name_f]. But, we just discovered and fell in love with the name [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f] (nn [name_f]Sarah[/name_f]), and since we still need a middle name, it’s either going to be [name_f]Naomi[/name_f] [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f] or [name_f]Seraphine[/name_f] [name_f]Naomi[/name_f]. What do you guys think and WHY.
[name_f]Seraphine[/name_f] [name_f]Naomi[/name_f].
Personally it’s just the name I would rather have. I find [name_f]Naomi[/name_f] a little awkward to say and I find [name_f]Seraphine[/name_f]/[name_f]Seraphine[/name_f] more striking. It evokes fantasy and adventure to me.
[name_f]Seraphine[/name_f] [name_f]Naomi[/name_f] because I ould prefer being named [name_f]Seraphine[/name_f] to [name_f]Naomi[/name_f]. I think the nickname [name_f]Sera[/name_f] is more intuitive than [name_f]Sarah[/name_f] even though they sound the same
[name_f]Naomi[/name_f]. I love it!
[name_f]Naomi[/name_f] [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f], because it flows better.
I would personally choose [name_f]Naomi[/name_f] [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f] because a) [name_f]Naomi[/name_f] is one of my favorite names and b) [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f] makes me think of [name_m]Seraphim[/name_m] and angels and I’m not really religious so having it in the FN spot would feel weird to me. I also would be concerned it would get shortened to [name_f]Sera[/name_f] aka [name_f]Sarah[/name_f] which is a fine name but I just love [name_f]Naomi[/name_f] so much more
I like [name_f]Naomi[/name_f] [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f] or even [name_f]Naomi[/name_f] [name_f]Seraphine[/name_f], depending on the last name.
I’d consider [name_f]Sarah[/name_f] [name_f]Naomi[/name_f] instead of [name_f]Seraphine [/name_f] [name_f]Naomi[/name_f] if you want a [name_f]Sarah[/name_f] start. [name_f]Sarah[/name_f] is not super popular these days so you needn’t have that worry and this way, we cut down on the N’s which run into each other in [name_f]Seraphine[/name_f] [name_f]Naomi[/name_f].
I would pick [name_f]Naomi[/name_f], [name_f]Nadia[/name_f] sort of feels dated to me, like [name_f]Nadine[/name_f], but [name_f]Naomi[/name_f] sounds fresh, sweet and current to my ear.
