I can’t decide on the pronunciation of Cosima. Which one do you prefer/think is the most common/straightforward ?

  • Ko-seem-muh
  • Co-sih-muh

Ko-see-muh is my intuitive one, but sometimes co-sih-muh feels more natural in some combos

I’m not sure how to differentiate these. Does one have the accent in the first syllable and one have it on the second?

For example:

CO-s’muh
and
co-SEE-muh?

I’d say it COS-ih-muh, like the beginning of [name_m]Cosmo[/name_m]

The first one is pronounced with a stress on the first syllable as KO-see-ma and the second one has a stress on the second as Co-SIGH-ma, like cosine but with a ma at the end.
