Obviously there are many more Rose variations, like Rosamund, Rosie, or Rosalie.
From the poll options, which would you choose?
Do you have any particularly strong feelings (positive or negative) about any of the Rose names?
Of these, [name_f]Rosaline[/name_f] is my favorite. There are very few rose names I’d actually consider using (tbh, [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] is probably it, although I do have a soft spot for several others). One of them is the Shakespearean Rosaline… she’s very pretty! I like that she feels softer and more unexpected than [name_f]Rosalyn[/name_f] or [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f], too.
However my favourite was [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f] she’s romantic, graceful, unexpected, slightly whimsical and I love the nicknames [name_f]Rosie[/name_f], [name_f]Rosa[/name_f] or Liddy. I love the meaning ‘pretty rose’ along with the connection to horses. I find [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f] magical.
I’m caught between [name_f]Rosaline[/name_f] and [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f], but ultimately I went with the latter. I think the final “d” makes the name feel more complete and intriguing.
[name_f]Rosalind[/name_f] feels the most timeless to me, and I think the nickname [name_f]Lindie[/name_f] is a cute option to have! [name_f]My[/name_f] second favourite is [name_f]Rosaline[/name_f], which I do like quite a bit more than [name_f]Rosalyn[/name_f]- the -ine spelling just feels a bit more feminine to me.
