Sibylla is proper way of spelling ancient Greek title for prophetess, although I understand why some might feel Sybil way of spelling is correct.

Are they pronounced the same?
I voted [name_f]Sibyl[/name_f], but I much prefer [name_f]Sybil[/name_f]. I think maybe because Sybbie is more appealing to me than [name_f]Sibby[/name_f].
I love the clunky cute feel of [name_f]Sibyl[/name_f]
I like both [name_f]Sibyl[/name_f] & [name_f]Sybil[/name_f].
Now I’m messing around with…
Sibil
Sybyl (Cute, as a GP!)
Sybylla
[name_f]Sibilla[/name_f] (I prefer the similar [name_f]Willa[/name_f], but this is also nice)
[name_f]Sybilla[/name_f]
Sibila
Sybila
Sybyla
Sibyla
Also, WDYT of [name_f]Meadow[/name_f] as a MN?
well, my favourite in this vein is sibylle / sybille !
they’re all lovely, but I think I prefer sibylla to sibyl:)
I think prefer sibylla to sibyl.
[name_f]My[/name_f] current favourite is sybilla, mainly because the spelling is more intuitive and I can directly get ‘bill’ for the nickname ‘billie’.
I prefer the sound of [name_f]Sibylla[/name_f] to [name_f]Sibyl[/name_f] (though personally [name_f]Sybella[/name_f] is my favourite form of this name).
