Just wondering which ones you would choose. Please let me know if they give you different images or personalities
Sky or Skye?
Skylar or Skyler?
Or if you had to pick any of them, which one and why? Comments on all names (or the ones that interest you) very much appreciated. Which images, colors and personalities do you get?
I prefer the [name_u]Skye[/name_u] and [name_u]Skylar[/name_u] spelling but [name_u]Sky[/name_u] and [name_u]Skyler[/name_u] are ok. [name_f]My[/name_f] top 5 in order from my favorite would be: [name_u]Skylark[/name_u], [name_u]Skye[/name_u], Skylara, [name_u]Skylar[/name_u], [name_f]Skyla[/name_f].
[name_u]Skye[/name_u] is my favorite! The extra E makes hippy-ish [name_u]Sky[/name_u] more strong and sturdy. Plus, [name_u]Skye[/name_u] is the name of an island in [name_u]Scotland[/name_u] (the [name_u]Isle[/name_u] of [name_u]Skye[/name_u] haha) which makes it even cooler to me. I also like [name_u]Schuyler[/name_u], it gives me preppy, scholarly (lol) vibes that I really like, so those are probably my two favorites. Ooh, but I also really like [name_u]Skylark[/name_u]! Yeah, those are my three favorites, haha
I like [name_u]Skye[/name_u] because it has nature vibes but it’s also a place name and feels established. None of the others appeal to me. I grew up with a lot of Skylers, both boys and girls. It just doesn’t feel fresh to me.
[name_u]Skye[/name_u] love the way it’s both a place name and feels nature-y and just looks beautiful!
[name_u]Skylar[/name_u] would be by choice between the -ar and -er spelling, but [name_f]Skyla[/name_f] is my ultimate favourite of that sound!
Some random thoughts and images:
[name_u]Sky[/name_u] - bright, lovely, shades of blue or sunset
[name_u]Skye[/name_u] - pale blue and pink, delicate but stylish
[name_u]Skyler[/name_u] - rugged, clunky boots, shades of green and blue
[name_u]Skylar[/name_u] - turquoise, pens with fluffy tops
[name_u]Schuyler[/name_u] - I’m so sorry, but this name looks like vomit feels in the mouth to me
[name_f]Skyla[/name_f] - light, bright, pink and blue, swifts in the sky
[name_f]Skylah[/name_f] - sky stretching over the sea, pink sequins
[name_f]Skylie[/name_f] - something a bit crunchy and squeaky about this - like halloumi cheese
[name_f]Skylee[/name_f] - ribbons and cheeky grins, sparkles and sherbet
Skyleigh - horse riding and college life
[name_u]Skylark[/name_u] - celestial, far reaching and powerful, but also gentle and kind
Skylara - light and elegant, mystical and floral, meadow flowers and blue skies
(some I haven’t included, because I don’t get anything immediately?)
I just love [name_u]Sky[/name_u] on it’s own! So simple but gives the nicest imagery! I’ve never heard of [name_u]Skylark[/name_u] but I also think that’s super cool! Not personally a fan of the rest of them, but [name_u]Skye[/name_u] with an e isn’t too bad either.
What about [name_f]Skai[/name_f]? [name_m]Just[/name_m] kidding! Kind of.
[name_f]My[/name_f] favorites are [name_u]Sky[/name_u] and [name_u]Skylark[/name_u]. I love tailored, no-frills names. They both feel nature-y, soft and sweet, yet somehow sharp and lively too! Colors for both are very Pastel to me. Pale blues and pinks. I would imagine someone with any Sky-name to be bubbly, sweet and outdoorsy.
[name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_u]Sky[/name_u] for the nature connection, although I prefer [name_u]Skye[/name_u] visually! [name_f]My[/name_f] favorite [name_u]Sky[/name_u]- name is [name_u]Skylar[/name_u] – sweet & a little bit magical
I most like [name_u]Sky[/name_u] and [name_u]Skye[/name_u]. They do have different vibes for me - [name_u]Skye[/name_u] is more girly I suppose. I also picture [name_u]Skye[/name_u] as a blonde because the only [name_u]Skye[/name_u] I ever knew was blonde. I go back and forth about [name_u]Skylar[/name_u] versus [name_u]Skyler[/name_u] - I guess they are about equal for me, but depending on the day I like one or the other more. [name_u]Skylark[/name_u] appeals to me a a very hippie-ish name.
I really like [name_f]Skyla[/name_f] and good ole classic [name_u]Skye[/name_u].
[name_u]Schuyler[/name_u] holds its own, it’s like a modern classic.
I would love to see [name_u]Skylark[/name_u] used. It’s so flowy and majestic.
