I like them all, but I’d probably choose [name_f]Isabel[/name_f] as my favourite. I like its tailored look over the frilliness of [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f].
[name_f]Isabelle[/name_f] is my favorite followed by [name_f]Isabel[/name_f].
I’m mostly used to the [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f] spelling because it’s the most common spelling here so it looks “right” to me. Although now having an outside perspective I also really like [name_f]Isabel[/name_f] because [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f] feels very frilly, dainty, princess-y, ballerina-esque and very feminine (which is not bad at all) while [name_f]Isabel[/name_f] doesn’t feel as frilly although still very feminine and delicate. In general I just prefer visually the way [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f] is spelt, it feels more “complete” to me.
Never liked [name_f]Isobel[/name_f] which is probably because of how I would pronounce it intuitively (ee-zoh-bell)
And yes they can absolutely all have [name_f]Belle[/name_f] as a nickname!
Usually I like the most traditional spelling of a name, however in this case I prefer [name_f]Isobel[/name_f], because it is different and we have a Scottish heritage.
If you want to use the nickname [name_f]Belle[/name_f], it is probably best to stay with the version that ends with belle…. Although, an [name_f]Isabel[/name_f] could certainly have the nickname [name_f]Belle[/name_f].
[name_f]Isobel[/name_f], because I like the Scottish vibe and I’m a fan of an ‘o’. [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f] is bit frilly and blowsy for me, I’m neutral on [name_f]Isabel[/name_f] except that to my mind it looks incomplete as [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f] is the more widely used (whereas there isn’t the equivalent longer version of [name_f]Isobel[/name_f]? So that doesn’t suffer from the same ‘incomplete’ feel to me).
I think all can easily get to [name_f]Belle[/name_f], the spelling might vary but the sound of the last syllable is the same.
Correction, it means "big” in Finnish! I kind of like Isobel but as a Finnish person, I can’t love it because of this ![]()
Hm this is hard! I would use [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f], because it’s the [name_u]French[/name_u] spelling, I have french heritage and my family would find it weird if I didn’t; also [name_f]Belle[/name_f] is my favourite nn. But I think [name_f]Isobel[/name_f] looks the nicest written down, so elegant and sleek. I actually like all the variations though, such a beautiful name ![]()
[name_f]Isobel[/name_f] is my favorite written down, and because it feels like it has the least frilly imagery to me (which is lovely, just not my personal name taste). If I were to use the name, though, I’d go with [name_f]Isabel[/name_f] as it’s much more common where I am and more cross-cultural.
Definitely any version could get [name_f]Belle[/name_f] as a nickname!
I only prefer [name_f]Isabel[/name_f] spelled like this
I think [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f] is the prettiest. It looks more fancy and classic, and is the way I would assume it would be spelled. [name_f]Isabel[/name_f] looks incomplete, and [name_f]Isobel[/name_f] looks less dainty and pretty in my opinion. I think you could use [name_f]Belle[/name_f] for any of them, but [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f] nicknamed [name_f]Belle[/name_f] would certainly make the most sense.
[name_f]Isobel[/name_f]. I really like the look of it! I grew up with an [name_f]Isobel[/name_f] (spelt this way) nicknamed [name_u]Izzy[/name_u] and [name_f]Belle[/name_f].
[name_f]Isabelle[/name_f] is the best. [name_f]Isabel[/name_f] looks unfinished and I would want to pronounce the O in [name_f]Isobel[/name_f]
[name_f]My[/name_f] favourite is [name_f]Isobel[/name_f]
I prefer [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f], it just looks more complete, but I kinda like the look of [name_f]Isobelle[/name_f] also.
[name_f]Isabelle[/name_f] is my absolute fav!! Sooo beautiful ![]()

Reasoning:
[name_f]Isabelle[/name_f] looks soo timeless and classic, yet complete unlike [name_f]Isabel[/name_f] which always seems to me that the name never got finished being wrote - gives it entirely an incomplete look just ending at ‘L’ and I feel there should be more to the eye and perhaps because of how many syllables there is to just end at ‘L’ looks weird.
[name_f]Isobel[/name_f] though is by far the one I dislike a lot. I don’t believe this one would get spelled right very often. Which, besides that, it has a very negative look to it in my opinion as the word ‘sob’ stick right out to me. It seems very harsh and negative to have such a word right in a name like that. It doesn’t look visually appealing and ‘sob’ also isn’t an appealing word. I would completely avoid because of that personally.
