[name_f]Faye[/name_f]
[name_f]Fay[/name_f]
[name_f]Fae[/name_f]
I like all of the spellings, but because [name_f]Fae[/name_f] is a family name I’m really fond of it. I think literally any option for the spelling of [name_f]Fay[/name_f] is nice because it’s simply a lovely name, and the spelling options are all quite beautiful. So I think it’s a matter of personal opinion.
But yes, for me, it’s [name_f]Fae[/name_f], especially if I was ever going to use it. I also like it because of the ‘faerie/faery’ connection.
Whether a first or middle name, my favorite spelling is [name_f]Faye[/name_f]. [name_f]Fay[/name_f] looks incomplete to my eyes, and [name_f]Fae[/name_f] is a little too faerie for me.
It would completely depend on the fn and ln. Since they all sound the name, I’d judge based on how the full name would look as a set.
[name_f]FAYE[/name_f]. Forme, it is a family name. And I think it looks the best. [name_f]Fay[/name_f]= incomplete [name_f]Fae[/name_f]=never seen it before [name_f]Faye[/name_f]= Beautiful, royal looking, not long or complicated,a great name!

[name_f]Faye[/name_f] Middle spot looks balanced.
[name_f]Fae[/name_f] First name …a very fair baby with wispy hair and big eyes!
Fayalso pretty maybe the middle name, but not as much as [name_f]Faye[/name_f]!
I prefer [name_f]Fae[/name_f] because I like the obvious whimsical ‘faerie’ feel and look of it.
[name_f]Fae[/name_f] is okay, but to me, clunky; [name_f]Fay[/name_f] is dated in my opinion. Through process of elimination, I arrive at [name_f]Faye[/name_f] <3
I like [name_f]Faye[/name_f] and [name_f]Fae[/name_f]. [name_f]Faye[/name_f] seems the most ‘complete’ to me and [name_f]Fae[/name_f] reminds me more of fairies. I think I just prefer the look of [name_f]Faye[/name_f] over all though.
[name_f]Faye[/name_f] (or #2 choice [name_f]Fae[/name_f]) for my vote…
[name_f]Faye[/name_f] because I feel that it has more depth. Obviously the name is short, but [name_f]Faye[/name_f] just seems fuller than the other two.
[name_f]Faye[/name_f] seems most balanced and expected - in a good way; it would be spelled correctly most often. I like it the most.
Face does appeal to me because of the whimsical fairy aspect. But it will look odd to some, so I’d save it for the middle or if [name_f]Faye[/name_f] will look off with the middle or last name. If the rest of the name is y-heavy, say [name_f]Faye[/name_f] [name_f]Gwendolyn[/name_f] [name_u]Murray[/name_u]… I’d use [name_f]Fae[/name_f] instead.
[name_f]Faye[/name_f]. It just looks more complete in my opinion. [name_f]Fay[/name_f] looks like it’s missing something and [name_f]Fae[/name_f] is my least favorite.
I think [name_f]Faye[/name_f] looks the most complete. It is such a beautiful name. But any spelling is fine for the middle. If it was the first name, I’d definitely use [name_f]Faye[/name_f], but I’d probably decide based on what the first name looked like written out with it.
[name_f]Faye[/name_f] vs [name_f]Fae[/name_f] vs [name_f]Fay[/name_f]:
It depends on the first name. [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_f]Faye[/name_f] looks best rather than the other spellings, possibly since [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] is 9 letters. the longer [name_f]Faye[/name_f] spelling looks a bit more balanced.
I would go by balance. examples:
[name_f]Camille[/name_f] [name_f]Fay[/name_f] (I dislike alliteration to some extent, and if [name_f]Fay[/name_f] has the E here it would look odd to me.)
[name_f]Angelina[/name_f] [name_f]Fay[/name_f] ( the G in the first name looks more balanced with the Y in [name_f]Fay[/name_f] )
[name_f]Margaret[/name_f] [name_f]Faye[/name_f]
[name_f]Gwendolyn[/name_f] [name_f]Faye[/name_f]
[name_f]Aurora[/name_f] [name_f]Faye[/name_f] and [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] [name_f]Fae[/name_f] look good to me
[name_f]Emily[/name_f] [name_f]Fae[/name_f] or [name_f]Emily[/name_f] [name_f]Faye[/name_f] but I prefer the first one
I like [name_f]Faye[/name_f] best!
For me it would depend on the first name and what letters were in it. For instance,
[name_f]Mariana[/name_f] [name_f]Fay[/name_f] - because i like the repeated 'a’s and would feel weird about throwing an ‘e’ in there
[name_f]Georgia[/name_f] [name_f]Faye[/name_f] - in reality [name_f]Faye[/name_f] looks more complete to me and since Geogia has an ‘e’ [name_f]Faye[/name_f] looks nice next to it. [name_f]Faye[/name_f] > [name_f]Fae[/name_f] because it gives both first and middle drop letters
[name_f]Leona[/name_f] [name_f]Fae[/name_f] - I prefer [name_f]Faye[/name_f] and [name_f]Fae[/name_f] to [name_f]Fay[/name_f] in general but would choose [name_f]Fae[/name_f] here because, again, the 'e’s match and it results in NO dropped letters.
But of course all of that changes when you bring in a last name
As a first name I rank them [name_f]Faye[/name_f], [name_f]Fae[/name_f], [name_f]Fay[/name_f]
I like [name_f]Faye[/name_f]. It looks more like a name to me, I guess.
I really love [name_f]Faye[/name_f]. I personally am not a big fan of many three letter names ([name_f]May[/name_f] is the only exception), and I think [name_f]Faye[/name_f] manages to be both grounded and ethereal at the same time.
