In my opinion the letter o makes the name look awkward and harsher than the name sounds, the additional ‘le’ at the end of [name]Isabelle[/name] accentuates the femininity of the name.
ilove the scottish spelling, [name]Isobel[/name]. i feel it gives a new lease to the very common name. a freshness.
I’ve always disliked [name]Isabelle[/name] - too frilly. I like [name]Isabel[/name] the best, but [name]Isobel[/name] is lovely too! I wouldn’t go with [name]Isobelle[/name].
I agreed. [name]Isobel[/name]/[name]Isobelle[/name] gives a refreshing feeling to the classic [name]Isabelle[/name].
[name]Isobel[/name] or [name]Isabel[/name].
