Which spelling?

I like the name [name_f]Lilias[/name_f] or [name_f]Lileas[/name_f]. I think they are the same name. Can anyone tell me if they are the same name? Which spelling do you prefer? Are the spellings pronounced differently? [name_m]How[/name_m] do you pronounce each spelling? Thanks.

I’ve never heard of this name but it’s stunning. I pronounce it lye-lee-ius. Is it pronounced lily-ius? If so, [name_f]Lilias[/name_f] would be the better spelling.

I’ve only seen [name_f]Lilias[/name_f] so would use that spelling. I assume they’re the same pronunciation. I’m aware of the name because of the work of [name_f]Lilias[/name_f] Trotter, an artist and missionary.

My friend has a daughter [name_f]Lilias[/name_f] nn [name_f]Lil[/name_f]. Super cute
I would stick to that spelling.
Pronounced like [name_f]Lil[/name_f]-ee-uhs

As far as I know, they’re just spelling variants of the same name. I believe it’s Scottish?

It’s a beautiful name, anyway, and I think [name_f]Lilias[/name_f] probably makes most sense.
