I prefer [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f], not because it is more common but because it looks more complete to me. It looks like the name as opposed to just the color. But that’s personal preference. If you prefer only one T, then spell it with only one.
I like [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f].
I like [name_f]Scarlet[/name_f] as well (I’m rarely a fan of a double T), but I agree that it’s sometimes easier to go with the most common spelling. However, if [name_f]Scarlet[/name_f] is what you prefer, go with [name_f]Scarlet[/name_f]!
Personally I’d use 2 Ts, but do what you’d prefer!
Scarlett personally just feels more complete to me, but [name_f]Scarlet[/name_f] is nice too! You should go with whichever one you like more!
Because I am a huge Gone With the Wind fan, I’d have to go with [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f].
I love [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f], and something about the “ett” ending makes it feel a little more complete to me. I do think people would generally default to the double-t spelling, but it seems easy enough to explain that you spell it like the word! If you love [name_f]Scarlet[/name_f], I think it could totally work. It’s a lovely name either way
I prefer [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] as it feels more complete to me but I don’t think [name_f]Scarlet[/name_f] would have a problem if you like that better - “[name_f]Scarlet[/name_f] with one T” isn’t the worst thing in the world to correct people and it’s a recognised alternative spelling rather than a creative one like Skarlytte, anyway
I prefer [name_f]Scarlet[/name_f]! I almost always prefer the spelling of the word over the spelling of the name, if that makes any sense. (For example I prefer [name_u]Forest[/name_u] to [name_m]Forrest[/name_m].) It just seems more appealing, straightforward and intuitive to me.
[name_f]Scarlett[/name_f]! I love this name.
While [name_f]Scarlet[/name_f] would be stunning, I think people will misspell it a few times. However, if you love and prefer [name_f]Scarlet[/name_f], go with that spelling!
Scarlet!
It just looks sleeker. And it’s the way that the color is spelled, so it makes way more sense.
Scarlett looks more complete and rounded to me
[name_f]Scarlet[/name_f] unfortunately looks like it’s missing something imo. I do love [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] though, I’d use it in a heartbeat if it wasn’t so close to my niece’s name
