I like [name_f]Annabel[/name_f] and [name_f]Johanna[/name_f], although I do have room in my heart for the [name_f]Annabelle[/name_f] spelling! I’m generally in favor of the -belle endings (I prefer [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f], [name_f]Mirabelle[/name_f], [name_f]Arabelle[/name_f], etc. to the more straight-laced [name_f]Isabel[/name_f], [name_f]Mirabel[/name_f], [name_f]Arabel[/name_f], etc.), but for some reason I just like [name_f]Annabel[/name_f] better than [name_f]Annabelle[/name_f]. Maybe because [name_f]Annabelle[/name_f] is so completely frou-frou and over-the-top? Still a great name, though! I love it.

I see a lot of users are torn between the [name_f]Annabel[/name_f] and [name_f]Annabelle[/name_f] spelling as am I, and now I have stumbled upon [name_f]Anabelle[/name_f]!!!

I see many berries chose [name_f]Johanna[/name_f] over [name_f]Johannah[/name_f] and I am curious as to why, as I am leaning towards the [name_f]Johannah[/name_f] spelling…

I prefer [name_f]Johanna[/name_f] and [name_f]Annabel[/name_f]. [name_f]Annabel[/name_f] is gorgeous.

I prefer [name_f]Johanna[/name_f] and [name_f]Annabelle[/name_f], but I have nothing against [name_f]Annabel[/name_f].

[name_f]Anabelle[/name_f] would more than likely be pronounced differently, just like [name_f]Ana[/name_f] isn’t pronounced the same way as [name_f]Anna[/name_f].

To me the difference is in the way you pronounce the name.
