Its the first name. Middle name will be either Zeth (my husband) or [name]Paul[/name] (a grandpa). My husband thinks [name]Levi[/name] screams jeans too! I am leaning toward [name]Milo[/name] and [name]Ezra[/name]. My husband thinks [name]Ezra[/name] is kinda weird but he says he can be swayed. Naming a boy is so hard.
[name]Ezra[/name] [name]Paul[/name]. Its a strong combo.
I would go with [name]Levi[/name]. It will age well, it is handsome, and it a name I think your son will enjoy having. [name]Milo[/name] is a little too hipster and for some reason it still seems like a better name for a cat or dog. [name]Davis[/name] is too much of a last name and [name]Ezra[/name] has always seemed a tad bit feminine.
I too think [name]Levi[/name] is a solid name but every time I say that might be what we’re naming him almost every person knows one! I know that shouldn’t deter me from choosing it, but it does bug a little. I don’t think [name]Ezra[/name] sounds feminine! Sounds totally boyish/masculine to me. Plus its a bible name too. I wouldn’t worry about popularity with [name]Levi[/name]–it’s a great name! (And so is [name]Ezra[/name].) I like the mn [name]Paul[/name].

I really wouldn’t worry about the popularity of [name]Levi[/name]. I think the reason why people bring up knowing one is because they know . . . one, and it’s such an unusual name that hearing of another one, they feel compelled to mention it. Think about it, if you said you were naming your baby [name]Michael[/name], people would NOT start telling you about all the other Michaels they know (thank goodness, too, because you’d be stuck in everlasting conversation).
I voted for [name]Ezra[/name] before and that is still my first choice. I like [name]Ezra[/name] [name]Paul[/name]! I think it’s wonderful. [name]Levi[/name] Zeth, though, would be a close second.
I don’t think the other names on your list compare to these two. I have to agree with the comment about [name]Milo[/name] sounding like a pet’s name, though perhaps you would like [name]Miles[/name]?
[name]Davis[/name] is just, well, sort of weak - not as handsome as the classic [name]David[/name], falls into the trendy surname category, and doesn’t have a particularly nice sound.

I really love [name]Levi[/name] and I don’t think the jeans thing would be an issue, I went to middle school with a [name]Levi[/name] and I remember at first thinking he was named after jeans, but after I got used to it I thought it was an awesome name. [name]Milo[/name] is so cute and it goes on and off of my list. [name]Davis[/name] is definitely my last choice, it doesn’t fit with the others to me. You could have three boys named [name]Ezra[/name], [name]Levi[/name] and [name]Milo[/name] and that would be an awesome sibset! But if you started with [name]Davis[/name] it just wouldn’t work out as well!
