So, I posted a thread asking about Reverie Tempest as a first and middle combo, and the general consensus, despite how lovely it is, is that it’s too many whimsical words for a real name, and would be best left a characters name.
So I did just that, she’ll be a character in some magical world, but I need a last name for her. Something whimsical, and ethereal, but not too made up. With the first two names, whimsy last names I adore, like Lovejoy and Everstone, just sound too much like a storybook. While it is technically a story, and I do go a bit more wild with character names, I prefer to have just a touch of realism.
The only idea I’ve had is Reverie Tempest Rostellan, which I do like, but I’m not sold. So I’d like to hear thoughts on that name, and any other suggestions you might have.

I actually like Sylvan a lot, I’d probably spell it Sylvain, but I kind of thought that Reverie, Tempest, and Sylvain all could be first names, so it felt less like a full name, and more like a first with two middles.

I think [name_f]Reverie[/name_f], [name_m]Tempest[/name_m], and [name_m]Sylvain[/name_m] all would work really well as first names in the same story. Did you still want middle or last name ideas?
I’d probably keep [name_m]Sylvain[/name_m] as a name for another character, but [name_f]Reverie[/name_f] would be the main characters first name, with [name_m]Tempest[/name_m] as her middle, so I’d need a last name for her. More I think about it though, I really like Rostellan. That being said, other first, middle, or last name ideas for any characters, but especially middle and last for [name_m]Sylvain[/name_m] would be great if you have them.

Update: I think the naming system I’m using for this world won’t include last names (though I’ll definitely keep Rostellan in mind for other projects) so I don’t need anymore last name suggestions.

[name_m]The[/name_m] system will be more like, everyone has two first names, with no middle of last names, so for example, [name_f]Reverie[/name_f] [name_m]Tempest[/name_m] is her entire first name, which she would be called by everyone except family, and close friends, who could just call her [name_f]Reverie[/name_f], or [name_m]Tempest[/name_m].

That being said, I still need whimsical, fairy like names for this project, to go along with [name_f]Reverie[/name_f] [name_m]Tempest[/name_m], and [name_m]Sylvain[/name_m] [name_m]Casimir[/name_m]. Two second names I’d like to include are [name_f]Fable[/name_f] (for a girl) and [name_f]Boheme[/name_f] (for a boy) so I’d need firsts for them.
