Who are you and your siblings? What sib-set are you a part of?

For me there is just my brother and I: Jessica (Me) and Daniel, no middle names.

Daniel was named so with inspiration from the Biblical character that was thrown to the lions. Our mum took the strength from the story as her reasoning to use the name. I was simply named because she ‘liked it’, in words. [name]Both[/name] me and my brother prefer our names used in full rather than nicknames like [name]Jess[/name] and [name]Dan[/name].

What about you? And what do you think about the names that you and your brothers and sisters were gifted? [name]Do[/name] you know what inspired your name?

I’m one of 3 sisters: [name]Angela[/name] [name]Nicole[/name], [name]Amy[/name] [name]Noelle[/name], and [name]Alyssa[/name] [name]Marie[/name] (me). My parents just liked the names. [name]Amy[/name] [name]Noelle[/name] was born close to [name]Christmas[/name].
I also have a younger half brother named [name]Destry[/name] [name]Jr[/name]. (no middle name). He was named after my father (obviously) and goes by D.J. I go by both [name]Alyssa[/name] and [name]Ally[/name]. [name]Angela[/name] goes by [name]Angela[/name] to everyone except our family (we call her Ang or [name]Ham[/name]).

Me [name]Anna[/name] [name]Michelle[/name], [name]Katherine[/name] [name]Loren[/name], [name]Matthew[/name] [name]Allan[/name] + mums maiden, [name]Connor[/name] [name]Scott[/name] & [name]Erin[/name] [name]Nicole[/name] (we live in NZ)

My name is Vassiliki! I have two younger brothers named [name]Chris[/name] and [name]George[/name]. No middle names, in my country it’s a tradition the kids to take their grandparents names, so I have my grandmas name. I hate that tradition so I get called [name]Bellerose[/name].

My older sister is [name]Melinda[/name] “[name]Lindy[/name]” [name]Dorothy[/name] [name]Joan[/name], my older brother’s are [name]Troy[/name] [name]Phillip[/name] and [name]Dale[/name] [name]Robert[/name] and I am [name]Lila[/name] [name]Harrison[/name].
It’s important to note that we were born in completely different time periods, my sister 1961, my brothers 1964 and me in 1985. Our “sibset” doesn’t fit perfectly, but it really didn’t need to!

It’s me ([name]Diana[/name] [name]Rose[/name]) and my younger sister ([name]Melissa[/name] [name]Beth[/name]). We are obviously 90’s babies.

I am [name]Bonnie[/name] [name]Lyn[/name]. Since my first and last names had/still have double letters, my folks left off an “N”.

My brother is [name]Michael[/name] [name]Alan[/name]. [name]Bonnie[/name] and [name]Michael[/name] - we were both born in the 50’s.

[name]Isabella[/name] (me) and [name]Sebastian[/name]. Neither of us have middle names because our last name is quite long. We were both named when both names were practically unheard of, and now look at the popularity! I always call my parents hipsters because they were so spot-on ahead of the trends

[name]Jessica[/name] [name]Rose[/name] and [name]Robert[/name] [name]Lawrence[/name]. My name was chosen for sound, his was chosen for tradition.

My younger brother is [name]Timothy[/name] [name]Colin[/name] (he goes by [name]Tim[/name] usually, but prefers [name]Timothy[/name]…and he HATES the [name]Colin[/name]), and I’m (obviously!) [name]Claire[/name] [name]Elise[/name]. We also both have my mum’s maiden name as a second middle as well. Our names were both chosen simple because my parents liked them. Apparently my mother had [name]Claire[/name] picked out for years.

I’m [name]Jessica[/name] and my sisters are [name]Corrine[/name] and [name]Kaylee[/name] and I have a brother [name]Beau[/name]. [name]Jessica[/name] and [name]Corrine[/name] were two names that my parents liked at the time, [name]Kaylee[/name] is a mash up of my two grandmas’ names, and [name]Beau[/name] is after [name]Bo[/name] [name]Jackson[/name].

[name]Ainslie[/name] [name]Sarah[/name] and [name]Caitlin[/name] [name]Rose[/name]

I’m [name]Rachel[/name] [name]Sharon[/name] and my brother is [name]Devin[/name] [name]Antony[/name]. My brother’s name was chosen because my mom didn’t want him to be named after a family member (as she was a [name]Laura[/name] jr.) and she read somewhere that [name]Devin[/name] meant “son of [name]David[/name]” which is my dad’s name. So that was her compromise. Strangely enough, even though I was the one who didn’t like my name growing up, my brother was the one who actually changed his. He is now known to everyone (except my mom and I) as [name]Malcolm[/name].

I’m one of three girls, [name]Eilish[/name] [name]Mary[/name] (1995), [name]Kerry[/name] [name]Marion[/name] (1996) and [name]Caitlin[/name] [name]Anne[/name] (1998).
[name]Eilish[/name] was chosen because my parents couldn’t think of a name so decided to name her after the midwife who is now a family friend. [name]Mary[/name] was my mother’s mum who died when my mother was fifteen from cancer.
[name]Kerry[/name] was chosen because she was darker in skin colour than [name]Eilish[/name]. This is because my my father is quite a dark Caucasian but not of [name]Indian[/name] (or anything like that) descent. So they looked for a name that meant dark or dark-skinned and found [name]Kerry[/name] which they both liked. [name]Marion[/name] is my father’s sister.
My name, [name]Caitlin[/name] was chosen after the Scottish swimmer [name]Caitlin[/name] McClatchey which is were my parents first saw the name. [name]Anne[/name] is after my mother, who is [name]Morag[/name]-[name]Anne[/name]. Her [name]Anne[/name] is after an elderly family friend.

[name]Jessica[/name] [name]Erin[/name] and my brother is [name]Joshua[/name] [name]Brandon[/name]. Classic 80’s! Had a been a boy, I would have been [name]Jeffrey[/name] [name]Aaron[/name], and my bother would have been [name]Heather[/name] [name]Alayne[/name] if he had been a girl.

I’m a sibset of three girls, [name]Linzi[/name] [name]Janet[/name], [name]Laura[/name] [name]Kate[/name] (me) and [name]Gemma[/name] [name]Georgia[/name].

My mum was going to continue with the L first names but when [name]Gemma[/name] was born she didn’t like any other L names.

My mum, who I live with, has two daughters [name]Zelia[/name] [name]Elvira[/name] (me) and [name]Isabella[/name] [name]Elvira[/name]. I was named after someone from the credits of some movie. I suggested [name]Isabella[/name] to my mum and her husband, and they liked it so they named her [name]Isabella[/name]. [name]Elvira[/name] was the middle name of our great-grandmother (and my mum wasn’t creative enough to give us different middle names, something that irks a name nerd like myself).

My père has four girls (I bet he was slightly disappointed when the last, [name]Celina[/name], turned out to be a girl), [name]Zelia[/name] [name]Elvira[/name] (me), [name]Gabriella[/name], C.i.l.l.a [name]Louise[/name] and [name]Celina[/name]. I don’t have much contact to my paternal sisters, so I don’t know why they’re named what they’re named.

Me [name]Chelsea[/name] [name]Rose[/name], [name]Anna[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name], [name]Caroline[/name] [name]Grace[/name], and [name]Joshua[/name] [name]Edward[/name]. I do like both of my sisters names very much. They are beautifully classic names. My younger brothers name seems a bit 90s to me, but I do like its Biblical significance. None of us are named after family members, except my brother. His middle name, [name]Edward[/name], was my late uncle’s name.

I am the middle child in my family. My older brother is named [name]William[/name] [name]Nicholas[/name], after my grandfather (as it is tradition in my family to name your kids after your parents, though my parents were the only ones in the family who did it so…). My name is [name]Eleni[/name] [name]Maria[/name], after my aunt and great aunt, [name]Ellen[/name] and [name]Eleni[/name], and [name]Maria[/name] for my grandmother [name]Mary[/name]. My youngest brother, [name]Christian[/name] [name]James[/name], was named after my father ([name]James[/name]) and he was born near [name]Christmas[/name], so [name]Christian[/name].
