Sparrow. Positive association!
For me, [name_m]Jack[/name_m] [name_m]Pearson[/name_m] (This is Us).
I actually love the name! I was giving it a lot of thought just this morning. It’s so popular but you can’t really go wrong giving a boy the name [name_m]Jack[/name_m]. I’m also thinking of [name_m]Jack[/name_m] [name_u]Cedar[/name_u] nn “[name_u]Jace[/name_u]” which would tick a lot of boxes for us. We have a few J.C.'s in the family to honour and my mum is [name_f]Jacqueline[/name_f].
My first thought was [name_m]Jack[/name_m] [name_m]Nicholson[/name_m], then JFK, then the Ripper.
Jack the Ripper does come to mind first… but then JFK, and then [name_m]Jack[/name_m] [name_m]Kerouac[/name_m].
The jack the ripper association isn’t super strong, but that is probably the first famous [name_m]Jack[/name_m] that comes to mind for me. Other than that, I can only think of good Jacks.
Too many to really answer coherently.
Jack [name_m]Nickleson[/name_m] and [name_m]Jack[/name_m] in the Box (dislike both). But also [name_m]Jack[/name_m] [name_u]Frost[/name_u] and [name_m]Jack[/name_m] Sprat. Cute kids named [name_m]Jack[/name_m] I’ve taught. [name_m]Jack[/name_m] [name_m]Niklaus[/name_m]. [name_u]Jackie[/name_u] Onassis. [name_u]Jackie[/name_u] [name_m]Robinson[/name_m]. [name_m]Jack[/name_m] Lalanne (sp?). [name_m]Jack[/name_m] [name_m]Black[/name_m]. [name_m]Jack[/name_m] Kornfield. [name_m]Jack[/name_m] [name_u]London[/name_u].
I guess what I’m saying is that because so many disparate people bear the name, it reminds me both of all of all them and none of them.
It is a great name.
Thank goodness! I thought it was only me!
First thought is [name_m]Jack[/name_m] from the tv series LOST! He was a very complex character, but an overall positive association for me
Jack [name_m]Kerouac[/name_m] (who I’ve not actually read yet) was the first non-relative [name_m]Jack[/name_m] I thought of
Jack [name_m]Bower[/name_m](don’t how to spell) from 24! Never even really seen the show but I know his name and always think of it first.
[name_m]Jack[/name_m] [name_m]Nicholson[/name_m] was my first thought. Then [name_m]Jack[/name_m] from Titanic!
Jack the Ripper… whoops. [name_m]Jack[/name_m] has been used so many times that that reference doesn’t make me form a negative view of [name_m]Jack[/name_m], because I associate [name_m]Jack[/name_m] with so many celebrities and people I know. It’s a strong association, but it doesn’t deem it unusable.
Jack [name_u]Sparrow[/name_u] was my first thought
In the Box
Captain [name_m]Jack[/name_m] [name_u]Sparrow[/name_u]. He’s a fun association
My first thought was [name_m]Jack[/name_m] [name_u]Sparrow[/name_u], then [name_m]Jack[/name_m] the Ripper was my second. They’re very different, but overall I have a positive association with the name [name_m]Jack[/name_m].
Yay! [name_f]Happy[/name_f] to meet another Newsies fan!
Jack [name_m]Nicholson[/name_m] is probably my first celeb association, despite the fact that I’m not really familiar with his body of work. I think the name is so common and has so many associations that it’s hard to have strong negative or positive feelings on it based on famous references alone.
Jack, [name_m]Jack[/name_m] the Pumpkin [name_m]King[/name_m] is what sings into my mind! I like the name [name_m]Jack[/name_m].
Captain [name_m]Jack[/name_m] [name_u]Sparrow[/name_u] followed by [name_m]Captain[/name_m] [name_m]Jack[/name_m] Harkness!
Jack and the Beanstock followed by [name_m]Jack[/name_m] [name_m]Nicholson[/name_m].
