The name [name_m]Jack[/name_m] comes to mind as one that is so ridiculous popular – in both real life and fiction.
[name_f]My[/name_f] question is, when you hear the name [name_m]Jack[/name_m], which [name_m]Jack[/name_m] immediately comes to mind? Is it a pro sports player? Or maybe a politician? A wacky pirate? A singing newsboy? Whatever famous [name_m]Jack[/name_m], real or fictional, is your primary association with the name, comment below and say whether that association gave you a positive or negative view of the name in general.
Jack [name_u]Sparrow[/name_u] is my first association! I also think about [name_m]Jack[/name_m] [name_m]Pearson[/name_m] from This is Us. I think both are good associations.
[name_f]My[/name_f] first associations are [name_m]Jack[/name_m] & [name_f]Jill[/name_f] and [name_m]Jack[/name_m] & the Beanstalk Both positive associations.
I like Jack a lot.
It’s my favourite name, but everytime I read/heard [name_m]Jack[/name_m] I sing in my mind: “[name_m]Jack[/name_m] and [name_f]Jill[/name_f] went up the hill, to fetch a pail of water, so they say the subsequent fall was inevitable…” Which is a song from [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] the musical (and I loved this musical years ago)
Also [name_m]Jack[/name_m] from [name_m]Jack[/name_m] and the Beanstalk, an [name_m]Jack[/name_m] from The Idhun’s Memories (a book I read when I was 12 or so)
Jack and the Beanstalk for me too! And [name_m]Jack[/name_m] the Giant Killer. [name_m]Jack[/name_m] is one of my favorite names because it’s so prevalent in folk tales, fairytales and fiction in general.
First celebrity I thought of was [name_m]Jack[/name_m] [name_m]Nicholson[/name_m] and ironically enough, the first character I thought of was him as [name_m]Jack[/name_m] [name_u]Torrance[/name_u] in The Shining.
