I am finding it difficult to find that middle name for [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] that really speaks to me. I am finding that I like the names in reverse order, like I tried [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f], to me, it sounds better as [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_f]Eloise[/name_f]. Same with [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] [name_f]Josephine[/name_f], better as [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] [name_f]Eloise[/name_f]. Where Oh Where has a lovely middle name for [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] gone.
[name_f]Eloise[/name_f] [name_f]Mabel[/name_f]?
I love [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] [name_f]Mabel[/name_f] and [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] [name_f]Maple[/name_f] but I feel both are very close to Maebry, which would be her sister’s name if I split Maebry [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] (and have two girls ;)).
Try a hard consonant for a mn-- I think these work better with the s/z ending:
[name_f]Eloise[/name_f] [name_f]Catherine[/name_f]
[name_f]Eloise[/name_f] [name_f]Margaret[/name_f]
[name_f]Eloise[/name_f] [name_f]Roxanne[/name_f]
[name_f]Eloise[/name_f] [name_f]Tabitha[/name_f]
I also tried [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] ([name_f]Margaret[/name_f] would honor my late grandma and mother-in-law) and [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] and feel the same as I do with [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] and [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f]. I wonder if it has to do with the amount of syllables? [name_f]Mabel[/name_f] and [name_f]Maple[/name_f] both have two, while all the others (including [name_f]Eloise[/name_f]), except [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] has three. I am thinking about [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] [name_f]Margot[/name_f], but something seems off.
Maybe something with a total change in sounds would sound better to you
[name_f]Eloise[/name_f] [name_u]June[/name_u]
[name_f]Eloise[/name_f] [name_f]Dorothy[/name_f]
[name_f]Eloise[/name_f] [name_u]Marian[/name_u] (close to [name_f]Margot[/name_f]/[name_f]Mabel[/name_f])
[name_f]Eloise[/name_f] [name_f]Mae[/name_f]
[name_f]Eloise[/name_f] [name_f]Lila[/name_f]
Or a vowel to start could help with flow
[name_f]Eloise[/name_f] [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f]
[name_f]Eloise[/name_f] [name_f]Arielle[/name_f]
[name_f]Eloise[/name_f] [name_f]Imogen[/name_f] (I particularly like this for some reason)
[name_f]Eloise[/name_f] [name_f]Irina[/name_f]
[name_f]Eloise[/name_f] [name_f]Arietta[/name_f]
I have [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] [name_f]Tatiana[/name_f] [name_f]May[/name_f] on my list, but I’m not sure if I would even like [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] [name_f]Tatiana[/name_f] if [name_f]Tatiana[/name_f] wasn’t a family name.
Suggestions;

Strange, I prefer both [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] and [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] [name_f]Josephine[/name_f]
[name_f]Eloise[/name_f] [name_f]Arabella[/name_f]

Thank you.
[name_f]Eloise[/name_f] [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f] is beautiful. [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] [name_f]Imogen[/name_f] is an unexpected combo, like the sound of it.
Thank you.
Years ago I loved [name_f]Tatiana[/name_f]. I love ana and anna names and this one was different than the rest in my eyes. I really like -
[name_f]Eloise[/name_f] [name_f]Harriet[/name_f] - I have not considered [name_f]Harriet[/name_f]. Normally I feel neutral to not caring for it but with [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] as a first, [name_f]Harriet[/name_f] feels less harsh. I have been considering [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] [name_f]Hettie[/name_f] and [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] [name_f]Henna[/name_f] also. All three would honor my dad.
[name_f]Eloise[/name_f] [name_f]Pearl[/name_f] - A nice way to honor my late grandma and mother-in-law. Something seems off with the combo but one I will think on.
[name_f]Eloise[/name_f] [name_u]Juniper[/name_u] - I love [name_u]Juniper[/name_u]. A mix of nature, a feeling of vintage charm, and unexpected.
[name_f]Eloise[/name_f] [name_u]Vesper[/name_u] - This is interesting. I had to look-up the name. [name_m]Will[/name_m] need to do more reading.
[name_f]Eloise[/name_f] [name_u]Winter[/name_u]
Thank you.
LOL, maybe I need to just think on them longer. I like -
[name_f]Eloise[/name_f] [name_f]Magnolia[/name_f] - [name_f]My[/name_f] dad dearly loves [name_m]Birch[/name_m] and [name_f]Magnolia[/name_f] trees. A fun way to further make the combo special.
[name_f]Eloise[/name_f] [name_u]Juniper[/name_u]
[name_f]Eloise[/name_f] [name_f]Pearl[/name_f]
[name_f]Eloise[/name_f] [name_f]Ione[/name_f] - I had to look-up the name. I quite like it. I will have to do more research.
Thank you, all, very much.
Currently thinking on -
[name_f]Eloise[/name_f] [name_f]Hettie[/name_f]
[name_f]Eloise[/name_f] [name_f]Henna[/name_f]
[name_f]Eloise[/name_f] [name_f]Harriet[/name_f]

[name_f]Eloise[/name_f] [name_f]Pearl[/name_f]
[name_f]Eloise[/name_f] [name_u]Juniper[/name_u]
[name_f]Eloise[/name_f] [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f]
[name_f]Eloise[/name_f] [name_f]Josephine[/name_f]
[name_f]Eloise[/name_f] [name_f]Imogen[/name_f]
[name_f]Eloise[/name_f] [name_u]Winter[/name_u]
[name_f]Eloise[/name_f] [name_f]Juliette[/name_f]
[name_f]Eloise[/name_f] [name_f]Vieira[/name_f]
[name_f]Eloise[/name_f] [name_f]Aurelia[/name_f]
[name_f]Eloise[/name_f] [name_f]Emilia[/name_f]
[name_f]Eloise[/name_f] [name_m]Eames[/name_m]
[name_f]Eloise[/name_f] Escher
Thank you.
I had [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] [name_f]Emilia[/name_f]. I adore [name_f]Emilia[/name_f]. I think the flow is a bit off, maybe I shouldn’t let something like that stop me. [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] [name_f]Juliette[/name_f]/[name_f]Juliet[/name_f] is gorgeous.
I have the same problem with [name_f]Eloise[/name_f]!
So far I like:
[name_f]Eloise[/name_f] [name_u]Ruby[/name_u]
[name_f]Eloise[/name_f] [name_f]Katharine[/name_f]
[name_f]Eloise[/name_f] [name_f]Johannah[/name_f]/[name_f]Joanna[/name_f]
[name_f]Eloise[/name_f] [name_f]Kerensa[/name_f]
[name_f]Eloise[/name_f] [name_f]Natalia[/name_f]
[name_f]Eloise[/name_f] [name_f]Jemima[/name_f]
[name_f]Eloise[/name_f] [name_f]Heather[/name_f]
I know how you feel in your op! I am the same way with many of my favorite names… That I prefer the more unusual names (Eloise, and among others, Clementine, River…) , and would want to balance them with traditional/more common/family name… But when I do, I end up liking the flow of Common Uncommon better!
Edited to add, sorry was posting too fast, meant to add that I’m sorry I don’t have many suggestions! What about a one syllable classic like Jane or (not biased here) Kate? Eloise Kate is pretty cute…! Or one that ends in an -ee sound so you aren’t tempted to flip the order, like (first thing that came to mind) Eloise Mary.
I am starting to think that maybe I should just stick with Maebry [name_f]Eloise[/name_f]. I totally adore the name.
I am not sure why it’s so difficult.
I want to thank, everyone, very much. I think for now I am going to stick with Maebry [name_f]Eloise[/name_f]. Maybe the struggle is because I already feel these two names belong together.
