Wilma

What are your general thoughts on [name_f]Wilma[/name_f]? I think it is adorable, and seems to be quite popular in some other countries, but find it extremely rare in the US. [name_f]My[/name_f] husband says all he can think of is the Flintstones… lol but I think enough time has passed that it stands on its own. It gives me vintage vibes but with a sweet, chic feel. Like [name_u]Blythe[/name_u] or [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f].

I think it’s adorable too! Though it does make me think of the Flinstones. [name_f]Willa[/name_f] is a very cute alternative if you’re too worried about that association.

I love [name_f]Wilma[/name_f]! [name_f]Wilma[/name_f] and [name_f]Sadie[/name_f].

Also [name_f]Wilma[/name_f] [name_m]Rudolf[/name_m].

I dig [name_f]Wilma[/name_f]. She’s got a little more of a serious (in a good way!) vibe than [name_f]Willa[/name_f]. She feels cool and vintage and grounded. Definitely fits in with what I call “grandma chic” names that are coming back!

[name_f]My[/name_f] association is actually [name_f]Wilma[/name_f] [name_m]Rudolph[/name_m] (she was from my hometown!) which is a great namesake IMO. Sure, you’ll get the Flintstones comments but I wouldn’t let that deter you!

[name_f]Wilma[/name_f] gives me definite clunky vintage vibes. If that fits into your style, I think it’s great! :herb:

I don’t like any of the [name_m]Wil[/name_m]- names, but it has a cute, woolly feel. The Flintstones association would likely stop a revival though.

Oh, [name_f]Wilma[/name_f] is so sweet! Reminds me of [name_f]Willa[/name_f] & [name_f]Velma[/name_f] :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:
