Hey Berries! I am really starting to like the name [name]Wilson[/name]. What are your thoughts on the name? My top boy name is [name]Bennett[/name]. Would [name]Wilson[/name] go well as a little brother to [name]Bennett[/name]? Thanks!
Its nms, I do think of Castaway, but I don’t think that is a terrible association. I do really like it with [name]Bennett[/name].

Castaway was actually my first thought too, or the doctor on House, but that’s just me, and it’s not a problem. It doesn’t make the name weird or unusable or anything like that. I actually quite like [name]Wilson[/name]…it’s cute, but more importantly, I think it would grow well with a boy and mature well into adulthood, and it can be hard to find names like that! Also, I think it’s great with [name]Bennett[/name].
I immediately thought of Castaway as well and then [name]Woodrow[/name] [name]Wilson[/name]
My first thought was of [name]Wilson[/name], the next-door neighbour on the sitcom “Home Improvement”! Then I thought of Castaway.
I love the name [name]Wilson[/name] and have brought it up to my DH many times. He always brings up Castaway! I still think it is totally usable and a great name! [name]Bennett[/name] & [name]Wilson[/name] are very cute together. Definitely sounds like brothers!

Honestly, I have nothing but negative associations with [name]Wilson[/name]… Mr. [name]Wilson[/name] of [name]Dennis[/name] the Menace fame, [name]Wilson[/name] in Castaway, not to mention a very nerdy, tormented kid I went to school with named [name]Wilson[/name].
I met TWO guys the other day with the FN [name]Wilson[/name]! I love surnames, and House made me like [name]Wilson[/name]. 
I think [name]Will[/name] is a dashing, handsome nn, and [name]Bennett[/name] and [name]Wilson[/name] are really cool together. I like the meaning of [name]William[/name] more than [name]Wilson[/name], but both are really nice.

None of them are too terrible for me to not use the name, but it’s always good to be aware of potential teasing. I know someone who goes by his surname which is [name]Wilson[/name]. I didn’t even know it wasn’t his first name for the longest time. (I was very disappointed when I found out it was [name]Matthew[/name] which is nice but a little boring.)
Also, you get the cute nickname Wils if you want!
