I dont mean names that mean winter or snow, or anything. I mean names that for some reason spark the image of a little rosy cheeked boy on a tobogan sled. Or cuddled in blankets on your lap in front of a fire. Here are mine…
[name]Toby[/name] (maybe I subconsciously got that from tob-oggan, but it is one of those rosy-cheeked child names to me)
[name]Evan[/name]
[name]William[/name]
[name]Everett[/name]
[name]Aaron[/name]
[name]Jonathan[/name]
I can’t help but say [name]Gabriel[/name] and [name]Jonas[/name]. =]
Also [name]Linden[/name], [name]Jude[/name], Chance, [name]Dean[/name], [name]Graham[/name] and [name]Michael[/name]… I have no idea why I think this, I just do, haha.
It’s really funny that you posted this… because when I pick boys names, I imagine my son all bundled up in jacket and scarf, playing in the snow (when I think of girls names I picture a little red-headed girl playing with bugs in the dirt). I can’t help but form these images.
So. [name]Winter[/name]-esque boy names:
[name]Hugo[/name]
[name]Charles[/name]
[name]Dominic[/name]
[name]Calvin[/name]
[name]Harvey[/name]
[name]Gideon[/name] was the first that popped into my head.
[name]Fritz[/name] (when my best friend was pregnant with her son two years ago we jokingly called him [name]Fritz[/name] until findign out the sex and she was due in late winter…since both her and her busband are 100% [name]German[/name] he turned out as a tow-headed blue eyed, rosy cheeked little imp and now it gives me that image you were talking about)
[name]Wolfgang[/name] / [name]Wolff[/name]
Well I actually always like the name [name]Winter[/name] on a boy, some others:
[name]David[/name]
[name]Zachary[/name] ([name]Zac[/name])
[name]Jonathon[/name] ([name]John[/name]/[name]Johnny[/name])
[name]Kevin[/name]
[name]Devlin[/name]
[name]Gabriel[/name] ([name]Gabe[/name])
