I’ve probably posted something similar to this before, but as we get closer to actually trying to conceive, its all I can think about. And rather than try to revive a dead thread I thought I would make a new, concentrated one.
My husband and I have toyed around with a small list of names and we keep coming back to these two.
I had taken [name_u]Winter[/name_u] off the table because our surname is [name_m]Tucker[/name_m], and it just sounds…odd together. But for whatever reason I am so stuck on and it keep coming back to it. [name_f]Averi[/name_f] I think sounds SUPER duper cute with [name_m]Tucker[/name_m], but I’m so torn.
Full names would end up being either:
[name_u]Winter[/name_u] [name_f]Annalise[/name_f] [name_m]Tucker[/name_m]
[name_f]Averi[/name_f] [name_f]Alanna[/name_f] [name_m]Tucker[/name_m]
OR
[name_f]Averi[/name_f] [name_f]Elise[/name_f] [name_m]Tucker[/name_m]
And we’re pretty set on the “i” ending of the traditional [name_u]Avery[/name_u]. As you can see in my username, my name is spelled [name_f]Brittni[/name_f]. So it would be essentially an ode to that. I used to hate it but its grown on me.
The child will have a half sister named [name_u]Piper[/name_u] [name_f]Isabella[/name_f].
I prefer [name_u]Winter[/name_u] in general. But I do think [name_f]Averi[/name_f] [name_m]Tucker[/name_m] sounds great and though I prefer the [name_u]Avery[/name_u] spelling I like that the i is a little nod to you. I think [name_u]Piper[/name_u] works well with both.
Personally I’d go for [name_u]Winter[/name_u]. But, as you are only just TTC, I’d say don’t worry about it yet! I know it’s a tough thing to do, but you might not even have a girl and then you’ll have spent all this time on it for nothing. Also there may be things during your pregnancy that help sway you (she could be a [name_u]Winter[/name_u] baby, you could be really inspired by a dream about your family, you could have a chat with people who love your name or give you a different view on flow - so many things could change!)
[name_u]Winter[/name_u] [name_f]Annalise[/name_f] [name_m]Tucker[/name_m] sounds fantastic! Both [name_u]Winter[/name_u] and [name_f]Averi[/name_f] are great names for [name_u]Piper[/name_u]'s little sister. I also like [name_f]Averi[/name_f] [name_f]Elise[/name_f] [name_m]Tucker[/name_m]. I prefer the spelling [name_u]Avery[/name_u]. The names [name_u]Piper[/name_u] and [name_u]Avery[/name_u] would look amazing together.
I do agreed that [name_f]Averi[/name_f] flows better with [name_m]Tucker[/name_m] than [name_u]Winter[/name_u]. However, the combination [name_u]Winter[/name_u] [name_f]Annalise[/name_f] is stunning!
