Wishing Bonnie had more full name options!

I loved [name_f]Bonnie[/name_f] since I was a little girl. Like most Berries, I put my love for her on the backburner from time to time, just while I’m searching for other ideas. I came back to her again today and my age-old combo [name_f]Bonnie[/name_f] [name_f]Victoria[/name_f]. [name_f]Victoria[/name_f] after my late aunt [name_f]Vikki[/name_f]. My grandmother died over [name_u]Christmas[/name_u] and [name_f]Bonnie[/name_f] was the only name I asked her about, which she told me she liked.

The only issue with it for me is it’s length and not liking [name_f]Bonita[/name_f]. [name_f]Bonnie[/name_f] would probably have a sister named something like [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f], though my boys names tend to be shorter like [name_m]Conrad[/name_m] or [name_u]Logan[/name_u] (it’s a family name.) Would it stick out too much or does the longer middle name work better to balance if out?

I’m also contemplating what star/constellation names could work for [name_f]Bonnie[/name_f] without being too repetitive in regards to being e-heavy. Stars could also be a way of honouring a number of loved ones.

Bonnie Estella or Bonnie Aster, maybe? Any other ideas?

I’ve always liked [name_f]Bonnie[/name_f] too. [name_f]Bonnie[/name_f] [name_f]Evie[/name_f], [name_f]Emma[/name_f], [name_f]Elouise[/name_f], [name_f]Alise[/name_f], [name_f]Alison[/name_f], [name_f]Caitlin[/name_f], [name_f]Deanne[/name_f], [name_f]Belinda[/name_f], [name_f]Helena[/name_f], [name_f]Heather[/name_f], [name_f]Lucy[/name_f], [name_f]Leanne[/name_f] & [name_f]Scarlet[/name_f] sound good to me:(

I’ve always considered [name_f]Bonnie[/name_f] a stand alone name, and think it is just lovely. If you love [name_f]Bonnie[/name_f], I see no point in giving her a ‘full name’ for the sake of it.

[name_f]Bonnie[/name_f] [name_f]Estella[/name_f] is lovely;I slightly prefer the sound of [name_f]Bonnie[/name_f] [name_f]Estelle[/name_f], but still like it.
I also like [name_f]Bonnie[/name_f] [name_f]Louise[/name_f], [name_f]Bonnie[/name_f] [name_f]Caroline[/name_f], [name_f]Bonnie[/name_f] [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] or maybe [name_f]Bonnie[/name_f] [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u].

I think [name_f]Bonnie[/name_f] goes quite well with [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f] and [name_u]Logan[/name_u]. [name_m]Conrad[/name_m] feels a lot more formal than the rest, but I think he would fit in just fine.
If I met this family in real life, none of these names would particularly stick out to me and make me think ‘what a strange set’.

I like [name_f]Bonnie[/name_f] as a stand-alone name, it’s one of those ones I do not think is automatically only a NN.

It’s fun and cute, but still stands on it’s own well.

I do not like [name_f]Bonita[/name_f] at all, I immediately think of the fish… which admittedly is not the best image when thinking of your little girl.

[name_f]Bonnie[/name_f] [name_f]Victoria[/name_f] is very pretty to honor your family, and has a totally different feel than something like [name_f]Bonnie[/name_f] [name_f]Estella[/name_f].

Both pretty in their own ways, but definitely different.

[name_f]Bonnie[/name_f] is an adjective where I live, so it’s weird to think of as a nickname for anything. It’s a word name!

I adore [name_f]Bonnie[/name_f] [name_f]Estella[/name_f], though! And it’s 100% fine as a standalone name.

I love both [name_f]Bonnie[/name_f] [name_f]Victoria[/name_f] and [name_f]Bonnie[/name_f] [name_f]Estella[/name_f]. I don’t think it needs a longer form - the name is wearable as a child and an adult, [name_f]IMO[/name_f].

Hmm…

[name_f]Bonnie[/name_f] is a great name it’s spunky and cute despite being as OliviaSarah said an adjective where I am from as well, I think it’s sweet and the adjective is positive. I do like [name_f]Bonita[/name_f] it’s a pretty spunky choice and would work as a full name for [name_f]Bonnie[/name_f]. However coming from the UK nickname names are really popular and I think [name_f]Bonnie[/name_f] would defiantly work as a a stand-alone name. I actually really love [name_f]Bonnie[/name_f] [name_f]Victoria[/name_f] it’s an pretty, spunky name and I think [name_f]Victoria[/name_f] sounds elegant with [name_f]Bonnie[/name_f]. I am not sure whether [name_f]Bonnie[/name_f] works with [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f] due to the length of [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f]. Maybe [name_f]Bonnie[/name_f] would work with a name like [name_f]Violet[/name_f] or [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f]? But I like [name_f]Bonnie[/name_f] with [name_m]Conrad[/name_m] & [name_u]Logan[/name_u]. I think [name_f]Bonnie[/name_f] needs to be teamed with a short spunky name.

: )

I’m using [name_f]Bonnie[/name_f] if [name_u]November[/name_u] baby’s a girl. It’s a family name, but I’m mainly using it because I love it so much. I can just imagine it on so many different personalities. I don’t really like it as a nickname for a longer given name, but to each her own. Both [name_f]Bonnie[/name_f] Victorica and [name_f]Bonnie[/name_f] [name_f]Estella[/name_f] are really nice. I don’t see a problem with [name_f]Bonnie[/name_f] and a sister [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f]? I think they’re sweet.

If baby’s a girl, I’m using two middle names with [name_f]Bonnie[/name_f]: [name_u]Lynn[/name_u], because it’s both my mother and [name_f]MIL[/name_f]'s middle name, and [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] because it’s another name that I’ve loved forever.

[name_f]Bonnie[/name_f] has really grown on me lately! It’s super sweet and I really like your combo [name_f]Bonnie[/name_f] [name_f]Victoria[/name_f]. I’ve always liked the idea of [name_f]Bronte[/name_f] nn [name_f]Bonnie[/name_f], but I’m not sure if that’s too much of a stretch for you or not. There’s also [name_f]Bronwen[/name_f] or [name_f]Bryony[/name_f] that [name_f]Bonnie[/name_f] could potentially be a nn for.
