Would love opinions on my name choices!

[name_f]Clementine[/name_f] would be a great way to get [name_f]Minnie[/name_f]. I know it’s spelled -men- and not -min-, but it feels like it works.

[name_f]Maple[/name_f] [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f] is great if it’s pronounced [name_f]VIV[/name_f]-ee-an, but I don’t like the flow of [name_f]Maple[/name_f] [name_f]Viv[/name_f]-ee-EN.

I still dislike [name_f]Easter[/name_f] as a first name. I think it’s too much.

[name_f]Maple[/name_f] and [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] would be great as sisters though.

Thanks for your response. I would pronounce it [name_f]Viv[/name_f]-ee-EN so it’s a shame you don’t like that version. I think we have different tastes.

[name_f]Maple[/name_f] Menorah and [name_f]Easter[/name_f] [name_f]Galilee[/name_f] - I think if you’re going to use an unusual first it’s better to balance it out with a more accessible middle, or vice versa.

[name_f]Maple[/name_f] [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f]/[name_f]Eleanora[/name_f] (similar sound to Menorah)
[name_f]Maple[/name_f] [name_f]Margaret[/name_f]
[name_f]Maple[/name_f] [name_f]Eloise[/name_f]
[name_f]Maple[/name_f] [name_f]Frances[/name_f]

[name_f]Easter[/name_f] [name_f]Hayley[/name_f]/[name_f]Amelie[/name_f] etc (could use other names with the -lee ending like [name_f]Galilee[/name_f] that are more common)
[name_f]Easter[/name_f] [name_f]Fiona[/name_f]
[name_f]Easter[/name_f] [name_f]Nicole[/name_f]
[name_f]Easter[/name_f] [name_f]Isabel[/name_f]

I’d avoid using word names as middles for [name_f]Easter[/name_f] and [name_f]Maple[/name_f] else it would make them sound like products rather than people - [name_f]Maple[/name_f] [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] sounds like a food, [name_f]Easter[/name_f] [name_u]Story[/name_u] is, well, you get the gist. Personally I find them a bit much as first names, though I’ve always had a preference for putting the uncommon name in the middle rather than up front anyway.

Of your other names, I find [name_f]Penelope[/name_f] and [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] too frilly for my tastes. I like [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f] but prefer the sleeker [name_u]Vivian[/name_u] spelling. [name_u]Artemis[/name_u] and [name_u]Story[/name_u] aren’t really my cup of tea, and neither’s Bethlehem - I’m not a fan of place names on the whole but it does have the accessible nickname [name_f]Beth[/name_f] if you were to use it.

Thanks for your input essjay! I do like [name_f]Isabel[/name_f] and [name_f]Isadora[/name_f] and so thanks for the suggestions. I’ll definitely think them over.

[name_f]Maple[/name_f] would be cute, but I can’t get past that it is the name of my dog. I don’t think other people would have that problem though (haven’t heard of any other dogs named [name_f]Maple[/name_f]).

I don’t like [name_f]Easter[/name_f] or Menorah, but [name_f]Galilee[/name_f] for a middle is fine. I take it you are a [name_m]Christian[/name_m]? Bethlehem would be a nice middle as well (although I wouldn’t use Bible place-names for first names save for [name_f]Bethany[/name_f], etc.).

Haha yeah that would put you off! I am [name_m]Christian[/name_m], yes. Bethlehem would definitely only be a middle name and thanks for the advice and opinion.
