Haha, that’s fine! In the olden days they spelled things however they wanted, that’s true. But the word comes from ancient Germanic wentruz or Norse vetr…
But, I think [name_u]Winter[/name_u] sounds sweet with [name_u]Bailey[/name_u] and [name_f]Liberty[/name_f]. [name_u]Wynter[/name_u] not so much as it becomes a different word. I don’t say it like I say winter, I pronounce the y as a y, and thus it becomes less attractive.
Thank you for some suggestions but i think you would need to go a little more unusual lol
[name_u]Skye[/name_u] is nice ( but its overly used now making it popular)
[name_f]Joy[/name_f] im not a fan of.
[name_u]Lyric[/name_u] is lovely i like this alot
[name_f]July[/name_f]- thats my sons month of birth
[name_f]Blythe[/name_f]… isn’t my style… I prefer [name_u]Bliss[/name_u] or [name_f]Bonnie[/name_f]… & I have ruled them name out for FN’s as i don’t want any repeating letters as we already have [name_u]Bailey[/name_u]…
We like names like [name_u]Phoenix[/name_u], [name_m]Levi[/name_m], X/[name_m]Zander[/name_m], [name_u]Rylan[/name_u], harley, [name_m]Harvey[/name_m] [name_m]Wesley[/name_m], [name_u]Logan[/name_u], [name_u]Rory[/name_u], [name_u]Riley[/name_u] but most are too popular
[name_f]Kairi[/name_f](said [name_u]Kyrie[/name_u]) [name_u]Peyton[/name_u], Cailtin (Middle option only) [name_f]Tahlia[/name_f], Esmee,[name_u]Piper[/name_u], [name_f]Amethyst[/name_f], Tameryn, Chyler, [name_f]Tiana[/name_f] luna & nova
Im just stuck in limbo on the names… Its not fair…
I really like [name_u]Winter[/name_u], with the ‘i’ spelling. I think it’s cute and spunky!
I like the idea of having a common thread among siblings, like a shared letter. I do agree with others about confusion and perpetual misspellings, though. Here are some other unusual names with a y that I think sound nice with [name_u]Bailey[/name_u] and [name_f]Liberty[/name_f]:
