Would you use these nn’s?

my current favorite for baby boy is [name_u]Beckham[/name_u]. I really like the obvious nickname [name_u]Beck[/name_u], but am also loving [name_m]Bram[/name_m] right now but wondering if it’s a stretch- mostly because of the added “r”. I also considered Bam, but don’t really like it.

So what do you think- would you use [name_m]Bram[/name_m] as a nn for [name_u]Beckham[/name_u]?

also- if you’re in the mood, feel free to give me your ideas on brother names as well! thanks

[name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_m]Bram[/name_m] for [name_u]Beckham[/name_u]! I think it wotks well

It’s too much of a stretch for me, because of the S but also because of the vowel sound.

Too much of a stretch, it doesn’t feel intuitive at all.

I think [name_u]Beckham[/name_u] ‘Bram’ could make sense - I’d be surprised, but not super confused? Would I naturally use it? Probably not for [name_u]Beckham[/name_u], but then I like [name_u]Beck[/name_u] and I like [name_m]Bram[/name_m] for other names more.

For brothers, I’d go with something with an equally unexpected nickname like…

[name_u]Beckham[/name_u] ‘Bram’ and…

[name_u]Franklin[/name_u] ‘Flynn’
[name_m]Shephard[/name_m] ‘Shae’
[name_u]Elliott[/name_u] ‘Otto’
[name_u]Tristan[/name_u] ‘Stan’
[name_m]Sebastian[/name_m] ‘Sasha’
[name_m]Darius[/name_m] ‘Dash’
[name_m]Nathaniel[/name_m] ‘Tate’

As a friend or family member, would I respect the parents’ wishes and refer to him as [name_m]Bram[/name_m]? Yes.

Would I personally use the nickname [name_m]Bram[/name_m] for [name_u]Beckham[/name_u] if it was my kid? No.

I dont feel that Bram works as a nickname for Beckham on its own. However if the little one was named Beckham Graham I could see Bram working.

Brothers for Beckham to me would be…

Hudson
Lincoln
Asher
Hayden
Oakley

I would be very confused if I met someone who used [name_m]Bram[/name_m] as a nickname for [name_u]Beckham[/name_u]. In my mind, these are two very different names so [name_u]Beck[/name_u] would make more sense. [name_m]Bram[/name_m] actually comes from the name [name_m]Abraham[/name_m].

I love [name_m]Shephard[/name_m] nn [name_u]Shae[/name_u]! though I have to admit I prefer the [name_m]Shepherd[/name_m] spelling which makes “Shae” even more unexpected- still like it though (:
