Would you want your parents nickname for you to be use by your peers?-

no for me

Well it is and yes haha :joy:

Yes, I think I actually like my nickname better than my full name! (But I also like that my nickname is just a special family thing. :two_hearts:)

Yes i would, i like it more when people call me that

Nope, my friends tried to and I immediately felt like it was an invasion of the relationship with my parents.

it doesn’t bother me. it’s cutesy, but funny!

Not really. I love a nickname, but I’m not sure I’d love to be called [name_f]Muffin[/name_f] by the general public. :yum:

[name_f]My[/name_f] ma calls me Growl/Growlie so I’m not sure it would work

They already do! Not all of them though, just one.

They already do

Yeah, I’m pretty sure I’d be ok with it. One person outside my family does and it’s fine when he does it.

not really but if they called me the nickname i go by on here (which works for my irl name) i would love it and definitely would go by it

Not sure. I like my nickname a lot better than my full name (it makes me feel a bit more confident/cool). However, it feels awkward when people whom I’ve just met immediately call me by my nickname. I’d rather save my nn for close friends and family!

Well they already do call me one of the nicknames my parents call me, and I like that but there are a few that I like just for family.

my family nickname has absolutely nothing to do with my real name, so i think it wouldn’t make any sense to anyone outside of my family to hear it  for that reason i’ll say no!

Absolutely not, but my teacher overheard my family calling me by my nickname when I was 7 and she thought it was so cute and started calling me by that as well. And thanks to her it became my nickname for everybody else for the next 12 years :smiling_face_with_tear:
