When I had Wren on my list I planned to call her Birdy :smiling_face_with_three_hearts: And I love Wren Octavia!

[name_u]Wren[/name_u] [name_f]Octavia[/name_f] is the cat’s pajamas (great). I would say [name_f]Birdie[/name_f] too.

Wren Octavia is very pretty

I like Wrenna as a nickname, though as Wrenna is also a name, it may be a bit weird to use. Maybe Wrenny / Renny?

My favorite long name for Wren as a nickname is Florence. I think Wren and Octavia are way too different to pair as first and middle, though. Wren is so modern and nature-y and Octavia is so glamorous and elegant. Florence Octavia sounds a little bit better to me.

I had never thought of Wren as a nickname to Florence but I kinda love it
But isn’t Florence Octavia kinda too long?

I don’t think Florence Octavia is too long! My real name (not my nameberry name) is that exact same syllable count (2 syllable FN, 4 syllable MN) and I’ve never thought it was too long or difficult to have or anything.

I love [name_u]Wren[/name_u] [name_f]Octavia[/name_f]! Lots of great nickname options mentioned; personally I prefer [name_u]Wren[/name_u] as is.

[name_f]Birdie[/name_f] or [name_f]Winnie[/name_f] :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

I like Rue/Roo for most names with an r sound!

I have a daughter we named [name_u]Wren[/name_u] and I call her “Wrenwren” and “Wren Hen” :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

[name_u]Wren[/name_u] [name_f]Octavia[/name_f] is gorgeous! I love the suggestion of [name_f]Birdie[/name_f] as a nickname

I think [name_u]Wren[/name_u] [name_f]Octavia[/name_f] is beautiful. I don’t think a one syllable name needs a nickname, but if you did want one someone’s suggestion of Birdy was cute. I think [name_u]Wren[/name_u] is versatile enough to put with many different styles of name, including more traditional, my first thought for a sibset was [name_f]Clara[/name_f].
