Someone I follow on social media posted this name today… I am curious what you all think?
I actually like it, I don’t see as it would be different than using any other occupational or word names…
Maybe use it with something like…
[name_f]Leila[/name_f] Writer
[name_f]Elodie[/name_f] Writer
[name_f]Viola[/name_f] Writer
[name_u]Oakley[/name_u] Writer
I’m not a big fan personally, I would prefer [name_u]Author[/name_u] as a name. Writer just looks too “wordy”. However, it does sound “name like” to me because it sounds a lot like [name_u]Ryder[/name_u] in my accent. [name_f]Leila[/name_f] Writer and [name_f]Elodie[/name_f] Writer flow nicely I think.

I think it makes a cool, unexpected occupation name, but I’d really prefer it on a boy. Of your combos, [name_f]Elodie[/name_f] Writer is quite cute!

i actually really like it! i usually despise occupation names, but i don’t mind this because it has a name-y sound/feel (or maybe i’m just biased because i am a writer haha).
[name_f]Elodie[/name_f] Writer is lovely.

Writer is really cool, I mean if [name_u]Pilot[/name_u] and [name_m]Bishop[/name_m] can be used as names, why can’t Writer?
I love [name_f]Elodie[/name_f] Writer and [name_f]Leila[/name_f] Writer

Hmm I think I might actually add this to my list. I think it’s similar to any other occupation name, and it does sound very similar to [name_u]Ryder[/name_u] to me, at least based on the way I pronounce them.

I like the idea but I’m less of a fan of the sounds. Still, it is pretty cool
[name_f]Elodie[/name_f] Writer is nice

Not a huge fan… sounds very wordy and just a profession… If that were my name I’d feel pressure to be a great writer! Maybe a famous writer name instead. The name Writer makes me think of Josephine March, and I think Josephine is a much nicer name!
As a writer, I’d find it interesting, but I don’t know that I could ever use it … it doesn’t feel like a name to me. [name_f]Elodie[/name_f] Writer is cool, though!
