XXX Madelief (Dutch for Daisy)

Hello everybody,
Looking for a nice girl combo with Madelief as a middle name. Madelief = Dutch for Daisy and the “lief” part is pronounced as leaf, and also is the word for sweet. What grown up 1st name would you combine with this, that’s easily pronounced by English speakers? Most girls names I have come up with myself have an A or EE sound already. No floral first please as the mn is already a flower and nothing that starts with an S for obvious reasons.
Thanks!

I love Madelief! I think it would make such a charming MN. [name]Sylvia[/name] Madelief was actually my first thought, unfortunately it doesn’t really work. Maybe something simple, like [name]Elise[/name] Madelief (sort of “EE” heavy, though), [name]Anna[/name] Madeleif, [name]Cora[/name] Madelief, or [name]Charlotte[/name] Madelief? [name]Tess[/name] Madelief?

Good luck!

[name]Hi[/name] [name]Ashley[/name]
Thanks for your positive input!
From your options with Madelief I like [name]Charlotte[/name] and [name]Tess[/name] best. However I would use [name]Tessa[/name] with [name]Tess[/name] as a nickname if it were not so super popular where I live and I would not have a close relative with a little girl called [name]Tara[/name].

Sorry, no ideas for the first name at the moment, but I [name]LOVE[/name] Madelief!!

So many options too choose from <3

In the Dutch setting I think the following would work although I initially thought a-endings would not give the best flow:

Julia Madelief - love Julia - but it’s a top 3 name here.
Elena Madelief - lots of nick name potential
Juliet Madelief - maybe spelled Juliette
Anya Madelief - spelled Anja
Rebecca Madelief - love the sound - but a bit long with our 3 syl. last name
Fiona Madelief - love it - but hubby cannot get over Shrek
Judith Madelief - sounds great, but my first name is too similar, could be confusing
Victoria Madelief - sounds great, a bit too long and regal for my liking, same goes for Antonia
Nora Madelief - popular choice, good combo with last name, short and sweet and nn potential too, would it be too close to Tara?

Amalia is the name of a real princess here and I think the “ma” part of the name would be to repetitive.

keep them coming

Madelief is beautiful! I think [name_f]Fiona[/name_f] Madelief and [name_f]Amalia[/name_f] Madalief are the best options.

[name_u]Skylar[/name_u] Madelief would be very pretty and the first name would be a subtle nod to the Dutch middle name without most people realising it!

[name_u]Ellery[/name_u] Madelief
Chaliss Madelief
[name_f]Karis[/name_f] Madelief
[name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] Madelief
[name_f]Kirsten[/name_f] Madelief
