I’m in the process of updating and adding to my girls list for future reference. I have a handful that I [name_f]LOVE[/name_f], that I will keep there. These names below are names I’ve been really crushing on lately but would like your opinions or should I say your “perception” of these names before I add them to my list.
If you were going to meet someone named _____________ (below) what would you expect her to be like?
[name_f]Tessa[/name_f] [name_f]Marin[/name_f] - Intelligent, cosmopolitan, a bit of a tomboy, charming.
[name_f]Arwen[/name_f] [name_f]Inez[/name_f] - A disciplined sort of person. Probably a bookworm and a dancer, the type who gets up at the crack of dawn to practice.
[name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] [name_f]Opal[/name_f] - Extremely adventurous. A mischievous, outdoorsy risk-taker with a razor-sharp wit.
[name_f]Francine[/name_f] [name_f]Cyane[/name_f] - A wallflower. The kind of person who paints their room pale green, and rarely expresses an opinion.
[name_f]Candice[/name_f] [name_u]Leigh[/name_u] - An overly perky, cheerleader type. Optimistic and friendly almost to the point of creepiness. Very religious.
[name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] [name_f]Helene[/name_f] - Quiet and grumpy. Extremely smart and not very tolerant of less intelligent people.
[name_f]Lyla[/name_f] [name_f]Juliette[/name_f] - A dreamy girly-girl with high aspirations. A graceful romantic who smells like lavender.
I am imagining children for all of these names
[name_f]Tessa[/name_f] [name_f]Marin[/name_f] -I love this and it feels neutral in a good way, classy but not stuffy at all. Playful & young for my tastes, like I would use [name_f]Teresa[/name_f] or something, but it’s sweet & lovely.
[name_f]Arwen[/name_f] [name_f]Inez[/name_f] - (nn [name_u]Ari[/name_u]) - [name_f]Arwen[/name_f] has a middle earth feel to me and [name_f]Inez[/name_f] is very hipstery. I also don’t like the double vowel thing. I imagine a pixie like girl in mismatchy clothes, cute enough but I imagine sci-fi/fantasy/hipster parents
[name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] [name_f]Opal[/name_f] - So pretty. Sophisticated but spunky. I love it!
[name_f]Francine[/name_f] [name_f]Cyane[/name_f] (nn [name_f]Cece[/name_f]) - I love [name_f]Francine[/name_f]. [name_f]Cece[/name_f] for [name_f]Francine[/name_f] is not that intuitive which I dislike. [name_f]Cyane[/name_f] is odd to me. [name_f]Francine[/name_f] is refreshing.
[name_f]Candice[/name_f] [name_u]Leigh[/name_u] - A bit dated, but nice. It could work on a certain girl. I would worry she would get called [name_f]Candy[/name_f] which is too sweet for me.
[name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] [name_f]Helene[/name_f] -Flows well. [name_m]Both[/name_m] names are pretty but they don’t thrill me. The -lyn is not my taste, and [name_f]Eve[/name_f] names feel overdone, yet I still really like [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u]. [name_f]Helena[/name_f] is such a gorgeous name, [name_f]Helene[/name_f] is pretty too.
[name_f]Lyla[/name_f] [name_f]Juliette[/name_f] - Very poofy & pink to me.
[name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] & [name_f]Tessa[/name_f] are my favorites. [name_f]Lyla[/name_f] & [name_f]Arwen[/name_f] are my least favorites.

[name_f]Tessa[/name_f] [name_f]Marin[/name_f] - I imagine a high spirited little girl who always has to give her point of view. She is highly respected by her peers and everyone loves her!
[name_f]Arwen[/name_f] [name_f]Inez[/name_f] - (nn [name_u]Ari[/name_u]) - Oh! This little girl loves to read fact filled books. She is inspired creatively by nature and the beautiful colors within the earth.
[name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] [name_f]Opal[/name_f] - I love these two names together! They give me a victorian vibe of [name_f]Love[/name_f], Laughter and [name_f]Lace[/name_f]!
[name_f]Francine[/name_f] [name_f]Cyane[/name_f] (nn [name_f]Cece[/name_f]) - Definately one of my favorites here! I picture a little girl with long dark curls, the bluest sparkling eyes and long dark eye lashes. Her skin is fair, but sprinkled with freckles. She’s a free spirit, and her imaginative creativity makes everyone smile.
[name_f]Candice[/name_f] [name_u]Leigh[/name_u] - This name give me the image of a very strong willed person. She won’t let herself fail at anything and gives the best advice to her friends. (I don’t consider this dated at all and I love the nn [name_f]Candi[/name_f] for this name…just my opinion)
[name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] [name_f]Helene[/name_f] - Another one of my very strong favorites here! I see this child as a happy girl that loves to sing! Her hair is strawberry blonde and her eyes are the purest hazel. She makes friends very easily and doesn’t care what people think. She is her own person.
[name_f]Lyla[/name_f] [name_f]Juliette[/name_f] - I see this name for a very brainy…but girly girl. She is awkward at sports but a genius when it comes to playing the harp. Her flair for fashion puts [name_f]Tyra[/name_f] to shame. She will be the inspiration for the scientific breakthrough for the fountain of youth!
If it were me I’d add them all to the list. Very good choices here, great job!

[name_f]Arwen[/name_f] [name_f]Inez[/name_f] - (nn [name_u]Ari[/name_u]) - I see this girl as bookish and quiet. Her hair back in a ponytail and dark thick glasses. [name_f]Arwen[/name_f] doesn’t have a lot of friends because she has trouble approaching people.
[name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] [name_f]Opal[/name_f] - [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] is a bit snooty. She comes from a wealthier family and is a bully to the lower class girls.
[name_f]Francine[/name_f] [name_f]Cyane[/name_f] (nn [name_f]Cece[/name_f]) - I would think this girl has a pretty face. She likes to dress very feminine and her favorite color is blue. She might be a model or fashion designer someday. She yearns to live in [name_u]Paris[/name_u].
[name_f]Candice[/name_f] [name_u]Leigh[/name_u] - I see this girl as outspoken and sure of herself. She enters every competition with a lot of confidence and maturity.
[name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] [name_f]Helene[/name_f] - This little girl is very shy. She loves to wear frilly dresses and play with her dolls. She is a daddy’s girl.
[name_f]Lyla[/name_f] [name_f]Juliette[/name_f] - I picture this girl with a lot of musical talent. She lives for song, dance and the sounds of nature. Stringed instruments are her passion and she will play at Carnegie [name_m]Hall[/name_m] someday.
These are great names, but knowing people with these names could have some influence.

[name_f]Arwen[/name_f] [name_f]Inez[/name_f] - (nn [name_u]Ari[/name_u]) - I’m not fond of this name for a girl. [name_f]IMO[/name_f], It sounds very stuffy, and could be someone that is teased.
[name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] [name_f]Opal[/name_f] - Too old lady. I do like Trice or [name_f]Bee[/name_f] though.
[name_f]Francine[/name_f] [name_f]Cyane[/name_f] (nn [name_f]Cece[/name_f]) - I love this one. Totally accepted in middle school! [name_f]Cece[/name_f] is very cool and the 'Cine ending with the '[name_m]Cy[/name_m] mn make a very cool nn [name_f]Cece[/name_f]!
[name_f]Candice[/name_f] [name_u]Leigh[/name_u] - This sounds very 80’s. I guess if you are a retro couple it could be very cool. Not my cup of tea though…lol.
[name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] [name_f]Helene[/name_f] - I do like the nn [name_f]Evie[/name_f]. This name sounds nice, but I can’t really associate it with anything real except a Grandmother.
[name_f]Lyla[/name_f] [name_f]Juliette[/name_f] - This is my favorite. This would be a little girl that has acceptance from her peers. Very beautiful.

[name_f]Arwen[/name_f] [name_f]Inez[/name_f] - (nn [name_u]Ari[/name_u]) - [name_u]Ari[/name_u] is a whimsical girl. When she enters the imagination the sky is the limit. She loves to indulge in a good book, dreaming, theatre and drama.
[name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] [name_f]Opal[/name_f] - This child has a mind of her own. Very bright, strong willed and has to have everything her own way.
[name_f]Francine[/name_f] [name_f]Cyane[/name_f] (nn [name_f]Cece[/name_f]) - This little girl is always happy, therefore being around her makes you smile. She’s quiet, but makes friends very easy. She likes to help, and do things for others so there is always peace and serenity surrounding her.
[name_f]Candice[/name_f] [name_u]Leigh[/name_u] - This name reminds me of a tall blond girl with blue eyes. She is pretty and popular but doesn’t take advantage.
[name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] [name_f]Helene[/name_f] - This young girl is shy, patient and very laid back. She enjoys being homeschooled. She loves to learn new things from her natural surroundings, especially culinary arts from gardening her own natural ingredients.
[name_f]Lyla[/name_f] [name_f]Juliette[/name_f] - This little girl is very high spirited. She tends to be loud and say her mind. As she matures she rebels against any authority and will travel the country to find herself.
