[name_u]Shannon[/name_u] for a girl
[name_u]Ryan[/name_u] for a boy
[name_u]Shannon[/name_u] for a girl
[name_u]Ryan[/name_u] for a boy
Matteo or Antonio now, but
when he was born: Caillou and Rabbit. Exquisite taste.
If he was a girl, probably Valentina or Clara!
When I was little, god knows, they’d have been something very strange
Knowing what I now know about names, I’d pick old family names - maybe [name_f]Jemima[/name_f] for a girl, [name_m]Alfred[/name_m] for a boy.
When I was little, [name_u]Alfie[/name_u] for a boy, and either [name_f]Tilly[/name_f], [name_f]Milly[/name_f], [name_f]Pippa[/name_f], [name_f]Tallulah[/name_f] or [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] for a girl.
These days, I think I’d go with [name_u]Esme[/name_u] or [name_m]Isaac[/name_m] - I feel like they match well with mine and my brother’s names - familiar but a bit more interesting - and I like them). Alternatively, I’m thinking [name_m]Hugo[/name_m] and [name_f]Lola[/name_f] (similar reasoning)
When I was younger I would have picked [name_f]Lily[/name_f] or [name_f]Clover[/name_f]. Now, I’d go with [name_f]Ramona[/name_f] [name_u]Scout[/name_u]
I desperately wanted to name my youngest brother [name_u]Quentin[/name_u]. It was on my parent’s list as well, but I’m very glad they didn’t choose it–he would not fit the studious, nerdy sort of vibes of the name at all. Though he would make an amazing [name_u]Quinn[/name_u]! I think that’s what I’d rename him today. That, or [name_u]Riley[/name_u]. For my other two younger brothers, I think they’d make an amazing [name_m]Benji[/name_m] and [name_u]Theo[/name_u], respectively.
[name_m]Thomas[/name_m] or [name_f]Capri[/name_f]
I think my brother would make a perfect [name_m]Samuel[/name_m].
I’d probably have wanted to name her [name_u]Marian[/name_u], [name_m]Hermie[/name_m], [name_f]Maisie[/name_f], [name_f]Miffy[/name_f], or [name_f]Tallulah[/name_f] when she was born. All my favorite animated characters as a little toddler!
Now, though, I think it’s hard to picture her without her name. She could make a gorgeous [name_f]Rose[/name_f], but I still prefer her name for her!
When I was 9, I wanted my youngest sister to be something in the lines of Daphné (in my mum’s list for her) [name_f]Rose[/name_f] / [name_f]Rosa[/name_f] / [name_f]Rosy[/name_f] [name_f]Isabel[/name_f]. Honestly, my taste has not changed a bit, I’m still all about frilly princess names. I think Daphné would really suit her, but her real name is one of my favourite names on the planet. She told me to not use it for my own daughter tho.
The honour name thing is not for me anyway.
I think if I would have to rename my sisters, then they would be [name_f]Freya[/name_f] [name_f]Della[/name_f] [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] and [name_f]Bianca[/name_f] [name_f]Daphne[/name_f] Gisèlle
But our parents did a great job and gave us all very pretty and rare names.
[name_u]August[/name_u] or [name_f]Helena[/name_f].
i don’t have any siblings, but i would name a sister thea or lola ! i love them, and i think they go perfectly with my name. i’ve never actually thought about what i would name a brother… the name my parents had picked for if i were amab (torin) is quite incongruous with my name, but i think it’s more representative of their style than the name they actually chose !! if i were choosing a brother for someone else with my name, maybe rory or kit?
For a girl: Greta, Magda, Clara, Zelda (Or Zelia/Zelie), Esmée
For a boy: James, Marco, Livio, Oscar, Zenon
Or any other 5 letter names that have a international sound (languages - English, Italian, French, German preferred); my parents gave both me and my brother, as birth first names, 5 letter names (one Italian name that works in half of Western world, one English name that works in most of the Western world)
Victor, Beatrix/Beatrice, would be some ideas too.
[name_f]Julianna[/name_f] or [name_m]Jonathan[/name_m]
@Parfait_de_Roses I’m so curious to know your siblings names now! (I love your name)
[name_f]My[/name_f] parents actually let me choose my sister’s mn, [name_f]Sonia[/name_f]. I was 5 and I have no idea why I wanted her to be named that or where I got the name from.
With the -an theme continuing:
[name_u]Ryan[/name_u] (what I wish they would have considered for me if I was a boy)
[name_f]Lillian[/name_f] (I know my parents wouldn’t like this one, but oh well)
