Another poster had started a thread about whether or not you could tell someone’s personality by the names they like. I thought it was interesting and I had actually been thinking about this as well. So I thought I’d start a thread where we could briefly describe what we imagine the person to be like based on their signature. What would you say about me?
themes: nature names, vintage names, a few popular names sprinkled in. A handful of Biblical names too.
From the above observations, I would think you are looking for a name which is uncommon, but recognizable.

Most of your names have two syllables, so I’d say you kinda like to keep it simple, but not too boring. Your guilty pleasures seems to be a mix of names that are pretty uncommon ([name_f]Annalea[/name_f] and [name_f]Cassia[/name_f]) and some that are so common their almost boring ([name_m]Ethan[/name_m] and [name_u]Michael[/name_u]), so I’d say you want a name that will stand out a bit, but doesn’t stray too far from the norm. I’d also say you like nature. [name_u]Arden[/name_u] and [name_f]Avalon[/name_f] suggest you have a sort of magical side, as well.
I think that you like names that are classic but not boring. You have lots of fun names that are exiting and out of the ordinary.
You have a few more traditional names mixed in, but your tastes feels very modern. There’s some unisex choices there as well, but most of your girls choices are fairly feminine, with the exception of [name_u]Reeve[/name_u] which is pared with the girly, but strong, [name_f]Isabel[/name_f]. You have such a variety of styles of names, it makes me think you might be either indecisive or just easy to please. There are classics paired with more adventurous choices, literary names, greek mythos, and even some I’ve never seen ([name_f]Hadassah[/name_f], [name_m]Cymbeline[/name_m].) You likely have a lot of different interests.

@gmdx Id say you like mostly classy, vintage names with a few little twists here and there. You most likely have big dreams, but dont have your heads in the clouds. You like variety and are adventurous in some (if not all) aspects of life. You probably come off to other people as warm and friendly, but you arent all about pleasing other people.
@oiseau From your sig, Id say you were a hopeless romantic, but not too the point were it interrupts the other parts of your life (at least not too much). You like girl names that sound happy, and boys names that sound strong. You most likely are drawn toward strong-willed happy people as well. Id picture you as being very friendly, but stern when you need to be. You wont let things keep you down for long, either letting them go or finding a resolution.
@mommyofsage I’d say you’re a nature lover who’s down to earth. You’re probably very grounded and straightforward. Probably very honest, genuine and true to your roots. I’d also say you’re warm and friendly and are a bit of a homebody at times.
I see quite a lot of nature and religion/mythology related names, which makes me think you like the outdoors and are a very spiritual, introspective person. You probably like to leave your mark in the world instead of just living by the shadows, considering most of your names are very original. @leah3456 Your names are solid, classic, and timeless. They are vintage but not too old fashioned. You seem to be a classic and sensible person. You might like old movies and dressing up. You may have a deep appreciation for craftsmanship and quality. I picture you in something timeless like a great pair of jeans, sensible flats, and the perfect white tee. For evening, I picture in a perfectly timeless little black dress.

You definately like older, classic names, with a bit of a more “original”/modern side to some of them. That makes me think you’re a simple person that doesn’t like much fuss but still loves to play it up a little. From your signature, I would say that you like non-everyday names. You have names that come w/quite a Celtic flair ([name_m]Macsen[/name_m], [name_m]Ronan[/name_m] [name_m]Finnegan[/name_m], [name_m]Declan[/name_m]), & names that while classic, fall into the realm of “Oh wow, I haven’t heard that name in a while…how cool!” ([name_m]Simon[/name_m], [name_f]Georgia[/name_f], [name_f]Jemima[/name_f]). The two names that stand out as being different are what I’d term mid-20th-century names ([name_f]Sally[/name_f] [name_f]Anne[/name_f] & [name_m]Chuck[/name_m]), so you have a retro side as well. You mix up obviously boys or girls names w/unisex names, so I’d guess that you like to ensure that your name combinations have a pleasing sound to them, or you like the meanings of the name combinations. You seem to be comfortable doing your own thing.
From the names you have listed, I would think you are strong and dependable since you seem to be fond of the more classic names. I would also guess that family is very important to you.
