Looking for some feedback on the name [name_m]Zeke[/name_m]. I really like it and my husband does too but he said last night it give him a hill billie image…What?!? Does anyone else get that too? I’ve met one little boy named [name_m]Zeke[/name_m] and he was adorable so that’s my only association. I also like [name_m]Ezekiel[/name_m] but find it a bit hard to say over and over and am leaning towards putting just [name_m]Zeke[/name_m] on our boy list. I also love [name_u]Jude[/name_u] and [name_u]Finn[/name_u]. I’m not expecting, just collecting right now!

I don’t see anything hill [name_u]Billy[/name_u] about it but I’m in the UK so will have different associations. [name_m]Ezekiel[/name_m] is great too but think I would stumble over the full name too, Ezzie is a cool nn too.
[name_m]Zeke[/name_m] is fine standing alone, more interesting and less common than other Z names like [name_m]Zack[/name_m]?
[name_u]Love[/name_u] the name! Not hillbillie at all! [name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_u]Jude[/name_u] too! I have a two year old named [name_u]Jude[/name_u] and we’re always getting complimented. [name_u]Finn[/name_u] is good but I like [name_m]Griffin[/name_m] better so you can call him Grif or [name_u]Finn[/name_u].
Hillbillie?! What the heck lol. This name makes me think of a spunky, handsome little guy…I also love [name_m]Zeke[/name_m] but want to use [name_m]Ezekiel[/name_m] instead so he can use [name_m]Zeke[/name_m] if he wants but he also has a longer name if he wants to use that. Loving [name_u]Jude[/name_u] or [name_m]Judah[/name_m] too but personally [name_u]Finn[/name_u] is too popular for my taste. Good luck!
When I was pregnant I considered [name_m]Zeke[/name_m] as a potential NN for [name_m]Zechariah[/name_m] but ultimately went with [name_m]Zak[/name_m] short for Zakariya. I actually loved [name_m]Zeke[/name_m] and think it could stand by itself. To me it has the same vibe as other one syllable Z names like [name_m]Zayn[/name_m] and [name_m]Zed[/name_m]. I think it’s cool and modern. Also like your other choices too.
