Hello berries

I think it depends on your background, the names background, and the culture! I often remind my white friends to be cautious with using asian names given we live in [name_u]America[/name_u] and racism and discrimination with names is a micro-aggression that goes unnoticed! Maybe [name_m]Zev[/name_m] could be a nickname on a more common international name! But also ask friends who that name originated from whether it would be okay to use!
I adore Zev, I first heard it on the Remember film with Christopher Plummer. He played a Jewish person that had been in a concentration camp decades before.
I am not sure if it actually has any significant cultural or religious relevance but usually when in doubt, I prefer to avoid it.
Found these after a quick search…
“[name_m]Zevulun[/name_m] is a boy’s name in Hebrew that means “to honor” or “exalt.” He was one of [name_m]Jacob[/name_m]’s sons, and was one of the 12 tribes of [name_u]Israel[/name_u]. You can also shorten it to [name_m]Zev[/name_m] for short.”
“Ze’ev is a name of Hebrew origin which means wolf.”
My son is [name_m]Zebediah[/name_m],we call him [name_m]Zeb[/name_m].
I love Z names for boys. I think it’s definitely usable, even just as [name_m]Zev[/name_m].
I really love this name! It’s so short and strong and punchy, it feels cool but still classic and pretty under-the-radar (it just dropped out of the Top 1000 again in 2019).
As far as I know, although it’s a Hebrew name it doesn’t have a particular religious or cultural significance (you could check this to be sure), and it feels pretty on trend and international. I think it’s definitely usable!
Love the meaning too
