Ok, so after months of trying to find a name to go with our first son [name]Barron[/name], we had finally put [name]Maxwell[/name] at the top of the list. Then JS had to go name her daughter [name]Maxwell[/name] and that takes the name out of play.
Looking for suggestions to go with [name]Joseph[/name] as a middle name and a Italian last name.
[name]Just[/name] saw Phineaus, kind of like that.
Also needs to be unique but not f the charts, would love to use [name]Jack[/name], but to many friends kids with that name.
I say use it. I dont believe the name [name]Maxwell[/name] for a girl will be a new trend. [name]Just[/name] because a celebrity uses a name doesnt mean it will be common. Like apple and other unusual names havent been used like crazy. [name]Maxwell[/name] to the general population is a solid boys names:).
Why is [name]Maxwell[/name] out of play? That’s just silly. No one should abandon a perfectly good name because of the antics of a celeb that few people care about.
This. Discarding a name you love because [name]Jessica[/name] [name]Simpson[/name] used it for her daughter is really sort of childish. Another celebrity named her daughter [name]Maxwell[/name] a while back, and that didn’t take [name]Maxwell[/name] to the girls. I highly doubt [name]Jessica[/name] [name]Simpson[/name]'s [name]Maxi[/name] will do it either.
Use it if you love it. [name]Jessica[/name] [name]Simpson[/name] is a D-list celeb as others have pointed out. I think it will always looks ridiculous on a girl, same as [name]Howard[/name] or [name]George[/name] would.
Haha! I feel your pain!! My [name]Maxwell[/name] will be arriving this friday AM (C-section) and I was not amused. But don’t let JS ruin it for you. She’s the one that looks like a spaz naming her DAUGHTER [name]Maxwell[/name]. It’s still a great name and in my mind not tainted. Come on OP!! Let’s take it back for our sons!!
Um I don’t see why you’d stop using it? [name]Just[/name] because a celebrity uses it doesn’t mean you can’t use it? If that was the case half my names would be gone. If you love a name regardless if a celebrity has used it then use it. They are just people like everyone else.
I would definitely go with [name]Maxwell[/name] it’s your favoirte, it goes perfect with [name]Barron[/name] and who gives a crap about [name]Jessica[/name] [name]Simpson[/name] that was sooo last month! :-). NO one cares about that. Its a very handsome boys name you should use what you love.
Please don’t be discouraged to use this masculine name for your son just because some sub celebrity did. [name]Max[/name] is a boy’s name, and a good one at that. Honestly, on his first day of kindergarten, no one is going to be like, oh so you’re named after [name]Jessica[/name] [name]Simpson[/name]'s daughter! It’s just a novelty this week, but it won’t matter in the future.
I agree with everyone else. Not using it just because one girl is named [name]Maxwell[/name] is silly.

[name]Phineas[/name] is ok (not really my style and in my opinion not as good as [name]Barron[/name] and [name]Maxwell[/name])
