DW: [name_f]Madelaine[/name_f] ‘[name_f]Maddie[/name_f]’ [name_f]Mae[/name_f] [name_m]Fairchild[/name_m] [20]
Year 1: [name_f]Maddie[/name_f] and [name_u]Jayden[/name_u] got married young. [name_f]Maddie[/name_f] is 19 and [name_u]Jayden[/name_u] is 20. They have been together for about two years when they learned that [name_f]Maddie[/name_f] was expecting. [name_u]Jayden[/name_u] wanted to do right by [name_f]Maddie[/name_f] and their child so they decided to get married. [name_m]Five[/name_m] months later, [name_f]Maddie[/name_f] and [name_u]Jayden[/name_u] welcomed their son [name_m]Russell[/name_m] [name_u]Hayes[/name_u] [name_m]Fairchild[/name_m]. It wasn’t long after he was born that [name_f]Maddie[/name_f] and [name_u]Jayden[/name_u] learned that [name_m]Russell[/name_m] is deaf.
Year 2: [name_f]Maddie[/name_f] and [name_u]Jayden[/name_u] decide to take a week long road trip with [name_m]Russell[/name_m]. They were a little hesitant at first because he is just over a year old, but they were glad they did. They decided to travel from [name_m]Ontario[/name_m] to [name_u]Nova[/name_u] [name_f]Scotia[/name_f] stopping at any monuments or towns they thought were looked interesting. It was a great trip.
Year 3: Life has been going good for [name_f]Maddie[/name_f] and [name_u]Jayden[/name_u]. [name_m]Russ[/name_m] is healthy and loving life; he is a very social little boy. [name_f]Maddie[/name_f] and [name_u]Jayden[/name_u] decided they would like a little brother or sister for [name_m]Russ[/name_m]. So, when they learned they were expecting twins they were shocked, but extremely excited. The young family welcomed their daughters: [name_f]Adaline[/name_f] [name_f]Virginia[/name_f] [name_m]Fairchild[/name_m] and [name_f]Lydia[/name_f] [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] [name_m]Fairchild[/name_m]. [name_f]Adaline[/name_f] was healthy, but [name_f]Lydia[/name_f] is born with a speech disorder that they notice as she reaches the speaking age.
Year 4: Their fourth year of marriage has been eventful. [name_f]Maddie[/name_f] and [name_u]Jayden[/name_u] love watching their three children grow up and interact together. [name_m]Russ[/name_m] is now three and is constantly communicating. He is getting really good at sign and enjoys showing his sisters. [name_f]Lydia[/name_f]’s speech disorder is becoming more apparent as she does not talk as much as her sister. However, this year [name_u]Jayden[/name_u] gets in a major argument with [name_f]Maddie[/name_f]’s young sister, [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f], who is 18 because she takes advantage of their hospitality and does not respect her sister. [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] comes over all the time, even when neither are home and eats their food, has friends over and does not clean up. She treats their house like her own apartment. [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] does not come around for a couple months before she apologizes to [name_f]Maddie[/name_f] and [name_u]Jayden[/name_u].
Year 5: This year, [name_m]Russell[/name_m] starts school which was made [name_f]Maddie[/name_f] a mixed bag of emotions. She was excited that he was going, sad because he is her baby and nervous about how everyone will handle him being deaf. It turns out though she had nothing to fear he loves school and everyone is accommodating. The other major event this year is [name_f]Maddie[/name_f] had a cancer scare, but thankfully, the tests came back negative.
Year 6: This year there was a short time where [name_f]Maddie[/name_f] and [name_u]Jayden[/name_u]’s relationship was on the ropes. [name_f]Maddie[/name_f] was getting upset with [name_u]Jayden[/name_u] because he was going out a lot more and not really helping out around the house or with the children. They decide to work it out and go through some couple therapy. It is not perfect, but their new system and understanding seems to be working out.
Year 7: This year the girls join [name_m]Russell[/name_m] at school. [name_f]Adaline[/name_f] was very excited, but [name_f]Lydia[/name_f] was not. [name_f]Lydia[/name_f] is very quiet, the doctor’s are saying she may be selectively mute due to her speech disorder (stuttering). [name_f]Lydia[/name_f] relies on sign more than her speech, but she is always encouraged to try to use her words. By [name_u]Christmas[/name_u] time, she is a little more vocal, but still reliant. This year [name_u]Jayden[/name_u]’s brother [name_u]Carter[/name_u] and his wife welcome a little boy who they name Kaedan [name_u]James[/name_u] [name_m]Fairchild[/name_m]. The kids are very excited about their little cousin.
Year 8: This year, [name_u]Jayden[/name_u] surprises [name_f]Maddie[/name_f] with a little weekend vacation for just the two of them. The kids were being watched by [name_f]Maddie[/name_f]’s parents. They spent a [name_u]November[/name_u] weekend up in beautiful Muskoka . It did them some good to have a break from the kids.
Year 9: It seems like [name_f]Maddie[/name_f] and [name_u]Jayden[/name_u] may have enjoyed their weekend away a little too much. Not long into the new year, [name_f]Maddie[/name_f] discovered she was expecting. After her first appointment, she had an even bigger surprise to tell [name_u]Jayden[/name_u]. They were having triplets! [name_u]Jayden[/name_u] nearly fainted when he heard the news, but he was excited. The kids were excited that they would get a baby each. What seemed like a few short months later, the [name_m]Fairchild[/name_m] family welcomed two boys and a girl. They named their three little ones: [name_m]Samuel[/name_m] ‘[name_u]Sam[/name_u]’ [name_u]Auden[/name_u], [name_m]Wesley[/name_m] ‘[name_m]Wes[/name_m]’ [name_u]Sawyer[/name_u] and [name_f]Helena[/name_f] [name_u]Jude[/name_u]. The triplets were born prematurely, [name_u]Sam[/name_u] and [name_f]Helena[/name_f] were considered their expected birth weight and measurements for their gestation, [name_m]Wes[/name_m] was quite a bit smaller and similar to his older brother, his hearing did not develop completely. [name_m]Wes[/name_m] is partially deaf in his left ear.
Year 10: This year is a sad year for the Fairchilds. [name_u]Jayden[/name_u]’s mother [name_f]Joy[/name_f] dies in a car accident. [name_f]Adaline[/name_f] is particularly sad because they were really close. [name_u]Jayden[/name_u] is sad that the triplets are never going to be able to really know their grandmother.
Year 11: This year, [name_f]Maddie[/name_f]’s younger sister has a baby girl who she names [name_f]Liberty[/name_f] [name_f]Ann[/name_f]. [name_f]Maddie[/name_f] is happy to be an aunt again and the children are happy to have a new cousin. Other than the birth of [name_f]Liberty[/name_f], nothing else major happens this year. The triplets are progressing well, the fact that they were premature does not seem to be affecting their development at all. [name_m]Russell[/name_m] is now double digits; he is 10 years old, and the twins are 8 years old. They’re all growing up so fast.
Year 12: Since the triplets have been born, [name_f]Maddie[/name_f] and [name_u]Jayden[/name_u] have realized that they have outgrown their house. Their small three bedroom starter house is very crowded and with everyone getting older, they thought it would be nice for them not to share as much. Currently, all of the boys share a room and all the girls share a room with the remaining room belonging to [name_f]Maddie[/name_f] and [name_u]Jayden[/name_u]. They move further out into the country and buy an old farmhouse that they renovate. It has a large kitchen and dining room, a few bathrooms, lots of land and six bedrooms, which is one an extra than what they need. The kids love living out in the country and the extra space in the house. They also like helping renovate the house. The new bedroom situation is: the master for [name_f]Maddie[/name_f] and [name_u]Jayden[/name_u], a room for [name_m]Russell[/name_m], one for the twins and currently the triplets share, but [name_f]Helena[/name_f] will move into her own room when she is older.
Year 13: The family have settled comfortably into their new house and still love it. [name_m]Russell[/name_m] is now 12 and enjoying his space from his brothers, the twins are 10 and still getting along well, and the triplets are now 4 and are starting school. [name_f]Maddie[/name_f] and [name_u]Jayden[/name_u] have figured they are done having children. They are happy with their six children. So, they are surprised when [name_f]Maddie[/name_f] discovers she is pregnant. They discovered very early, but sadly she suffered a miscarriage before the end of the first semester. They are both depressed for a while, but they are relieved that they had not got the kids excited about it yet.
Year 14: There must be some unknown multiples in the [name_m]Fairchild[/name_m] or [name_u]Hayes[/name_u] families. [name_f]Maddie[/name_f] and [name_u]Jayden[/name_u] were shocked to discover that they were expecting again, especially since it was accidental as they claimed to be done having children. However, nothing could have prepared them for the news that they expecting triplets again. The Fairchilds welcomed their three sons a few months later and named them: [name_m]William[/name_m] ‘[name_m]Will[/name_m]’ [name_m]Jacob[/name_m], [name_m]Travis[/name_m] [name_u]Wade[/name_u] and [name_u]Wyatt[/name_u] [name_m]Jonathan[/name_m]. They were thankful for having that spare room or else they would be very cramped again. They are all healthy and growing well.
Year 15: This year took an unexpected turn for the [name_m]Fairchild[/name_m] family. Everyone was doing well until the summertime when there was an accident. One day when [name_u]Jayden[/name_u] was out cutting the grass, the older triplets were playing out on the lawn. [name_f]Helena[/name_f] was picking a flower behind the lawnmower and [name_u]Jayden[/name_u] did not see her when he backed up. He ended up slicing her leg above the ankle. Her scream stopped him immediately, but the damage was done. The surgeons tried to repair her leg, but their was too much nerve damage and now the bottom part of her leg is a prosthetic. It took a little adjustment but she is adjusting well.
Year 16: This year [name_f]Maddie[/name_f] and [name_u]Jayden[/name_u] receive more shocking news that forces them to readjust their lives again. They are expecting again, with more multiples. Their oldest is now 15 years old and they will have two newborns babies in a short while. They have two little girls again, who they name: [name_f]Willa[/name_f] [name_f]Sophia[/name_f] [name_m]Fairchild[/name_m] and [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] [name_f]Annaliese[/name_f] [name_m]Fairchild[/name_m]. They are both healthy little girls.
Year 17: This is a quiet year for the [name_m]Fairchild[/name_m] family. No new arrivals, their own or nieces and nephews. There is also no diagnosis or health scares. Instead, this year they receive some good news about their son [name_u]Wyatt[/name_u]. [name_u]Wyatt[/name_u] has been diagnosed as gifted and is put into a school that offers him more challenges than his current ones. He excels, but he misses his brothers at school.
Year 18: This year [name_f]Maddie[/name_f] and [name_u]Jayden[/name_u] decide they need to renovate one of the rooms in their house to accommodate an additional bedroom for [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] and [name_f]Willa[/name_f]. Originally, they were going to put them with [name_f]Helena[/name_f], but they decided against that since there is a significant age gap between them and [name_f]Helena[/name_f] is getting older. They convert the little hangout space in the upstairs foyer into a bedroom. It has enough room for both of the girls to grow into and not feel like they are on top of each other.
Year 19: It is official, one of their children is no longer considered a child, but an adult. [name_m]Russell[/name_m] is officially 18 years old. This makes [name_f]Lydia[/name_f] and [name_f]Adaline[/name_f] 16 years old, [name_u]Sam[/name_u], [name_m]Wes[/name_m] & [name_f]Helena[/name_f] are 9, the boys are now 5 and the youngest girls are now 3. In order to celebrate [name_m]Russell[/name_m]’s coming of age, we decide to take the entire family on a trip to Banff and to see the [name_m]Rocky[/name_m] mountains which [name_m]Russell[/name_m] has always dreamed about seeing.
Year 20: [name_f]Maddie[/name_f] and [name_u]Jayden[/name_u] have officially been married for twenty years. Together they have overcome hardships, pain, and raising eleven unique children - most of them being multiples. This year they just enjoy their family. [name_u]Jayden[/name_u] has to leave for a month for work related business, and they do not feel it is worth it to try and find accommodations for their large family or even to take the children out of school. So, they spend a month a part but they make sure to make up for it with family time once he returns.
