I get you, must have sounded pendantic! I agree with Chloe, Lucy, Sophie all having a sort of youthful and almost protected quality!
I saw below (now above) the point that OK to use short Lea when might be OK with Rose. I can see the point, but for me, some names look more airy - Lea is a short and airy while Rose (just as an eg, I know it can’t be used), is more solid (not the heftiest but def more grounded). I think with Madeleine - and subject to overall rule that individual name more important than sibset so take with grain - something more substantial would be good, even if one syllable or only short.
Re Leonore v Leonora - I personally prefer Leonore because I love how it’s slightly clipped and suggestive while Leonora tells you everything, no mystique! I might just need to say Leonora to myself a few more times. Either way, both give you Leni and Lea in addition to Nora. I like Norah but probably too much in the vintage/ NYC writer domain compared to your others so wouldn’t feel too bad about not getting it through. I prefer Leonora if wanting Nora.
Finally, Lea-Christine is so pretty to me! You could call her LC (as in “Elsie”) for short though obv we want the full name as much as possible (and secondarily, Lea). Beautiful!
