A Quartet of Boys! šŸŽ¼

Always changing my mind but today I’ll go with:
[name_m]Reid[/name_m] [name_m]Otto[/name_m] - [name_m]Reid[/name_m] is a name I’ve loved for a while now. I love the short, sharp, smart sound of it, but somehow it still feels quite soft to me. I also really like the meaning of ā€œred/red-hairedā€, especially because I’m a redhead myself, so there’s something cute about the possibility of passing that little connection on to a redheaded [name_m]Reid[/name_m]. [name_m]Reid[/name_m] was also the name of my school house in high school, although I only remembered that after I had already started loving the name! [name_m]Otto[/name_m] is the first half of my surname, so if my future husband and I eventually share his surname, I like the idea of carrying a little piece of mine on through my children’s middle names.

[name_m]Silas[/name_m] [name_m]Lee[/name_m] - [name_m]Silas[/name_m] is a newer love for me, but it has really grown on me. I love that it feels gentle and slightly old-fashioned without being fussy, and I think it has a really handsome, understated quality. [name_m]Lee[/name_m] is my grandmother’s first name, which makes this one particularly sentimental for me.

[name_m]Harvey[/name_m] [name_m]Graham[/name_m] - [name_m]Harvey[/name_m] is one of those names that just feels warm and sweet to me. I like that it’s vintage without feeling overly formal, and I can picture it equally well on a little boy and a grown man. [name_m]Graham[/name_m] (PN grey-ham) is my middle name as well as my father’s surname, so it has a lovely family connection.

[name_m]Wilbur[/name_m] [name_m]Jay[/name_m]- [name_m]Wilbur[/name_m] is probably the most questionable one for me in terms of actually using it, but I have such a soft spot for it. I love its old-fashioned, slightly bookish charm, and of course there’s the sweet Charlotte’s [name_m]Web[/name_m] association. I also like that it feels a little quirky without being completely out there. [name_m]The[/name_m] one thing that makes me hesitate is that [name_m]Wilbur[/name_m] was also the name of a problematic YouTuber I used to watch, so unfortunately that association is there for me now (I obviously don’t watch him anymore!). I’m not sure whether that would eventually be enough to put me off using it, but for now I still really love the name itself. [name_m]Jay[/name_m] is my dad’s name (his name is [name_m]Jay[/name_m] Jay), so this would be a little nod to him, and I also have a soft spot for bluejays, which gives the middle name an extra little association that I love.
