A Quartet of Boys! šŸŽ¼

Names in italics are Hebrew names and therefore wouldn’t be on the birth certificate/would only be used occasionally and within a specific context. [name_f]My[/name_f] side of the family is Jewish, my husband/'s family isn’t.

[name_u]Basil[/name_u] [name_m]Eoin[/name_m] [name_u]Lior[/name_u]- [name_f]My[/name_f] husband’s favourite name for a boy, because he likes the nature feel, the fact it’s quite uncommon, the fact it’s difficult to nickname, and he just likes saying it (note: [name_f]British[/name_f] pronunciantion - Bah-zil not Bay-zil). [name_m]Eoin[/name_m] is the [name_u]Irish[/name_u] form of my dad’s name, which honours my dad and also my husband’s [name_u]Irish[/name_u] citizenship. [name_u]Lior[/name_u] is a Hebrew name meaning ā€˜light’, and is a nod to my sister whose Hebrew name is [name_f]Ora[/name_f] (also meaning light).

[name_m]Colin[/name_m] [name_u]Rhys[/name_u] [name_u]Noam[/name_u] - [name_f]My[/name_f] favourite name for a boy: my paternal grandfather’s name and also a name from The [name_f]Secret[/name_f] Garden which is one of my favourite books. (My other top top boys names are [name_u]James[/name_u] and [name_m]Simon[/name_m], but DH vetoed both). [name_u]Rhys[/name_u] is just a name I really like that I could possibly convince my husband into! I prefer names to have at least once choice where it’s not an honour, so since [name_m]Colin[/name_m] is in the first name slot, it makes sense to me that the name in the middle is just one because we like it. [name_u]Noam[/name_u] just feels similar to my late mother’s name - [name_f]Naomi[/name_f].

[name_m]Russell[/name_m] [name_u]George[/name_u] [name_m]Natan[/name_m] - [name_m]Russell[/name_m] is our joint second favourite boys name. I don’t really know why, we both just really like it. [name_u]George[/name_u] is a family surname for DH. [name_m]Natan[/name_m] is a Hebrew name I’ve always really liked, it means ā€˜gift’ and is a small nod to my SIL who is [name_f]Natalie[/name_f].

[name_m]Nye[/name_m] [name_u]William[/name_u] [name_m]Oren[/name_m] - [name_m]Aneurin[/name_m] ā€˜Nye’ [name_u]Bevan[/name_u] was the founder of the [name_f]British[/name_f] National Health Service (NHS) which I work for and we both have a deep respect and pride for, even with its flaws. [name_u]William[/name_u] is a family name on both sides. [name_m]Oren[/name_m] is a Hebrew word that means ā€˜laurel or pine tree’ the laurel meaning makes it a good subtle honour for my MIL who is [name_f]Stephanie[/name_f] (ā€˜garland, crown’ but they were often made of laurel leaves!)

Wow! Really hoping I’ll end up with more girls because boys names that I love are a lot harder for me to find, but I’ll give it a go.

[name_m]Antonio[/name_m] [name_u]Michael[/name_u] [name_u]Raine[/name_u] - I feel in love with the music of [name_m]Antonio[/name_m] [name_u]Vivaldi[/name_u] as a kid. I never did learn violin (at least beyond the most basic of basics), but his music speaks to the soul. Also, it just rolls off the tongue and it makes me feel musical. I love the potential nicknames [name_u]Tony[/name_u] and Nio - short and sweet, matching with my favourite nicknames for my favourite girl names. I feel [name_u]Michael[/name_u] gets used so much, but I still love it. To me it is soft and gentle, but the nickname [name_m]Mike[/name_m] is that more rugged side. I think when giving unusual names (and [name_m]Antonio[/name_m] would be in my area), having the option of a more ā€œnormalā€ nickname or middle name is important. Also, the angelic tie-in is great. [name_u]Raine[/name_u] would be my contribution for a middle-last name, because it is a name I inherited and has great personal significance for me. [name_u]An[/name_u] alternative to [name_u]Michael[/name_u], if I found it too common at the time I actually had a son, would be Michiah, which is the name of a prophet who would not lie even when tested. I want to have children of strong character, and I like that.

[name_u]Pascal[/name_u] [name_u]Rhodes[/name_u] [name_u]Raine[/name_u] - I just love the sound of [name_u]Pascal[/name_u], and the nickname [name_u]Cal[/name_u] is wonderful and hits all my sweet spots for a nickname. I love the meaning of [name_u]Rhodes[/name_u], and I think that its homonym sound for ā€œroadsā€ is fitting. For me, it would represent that the roads we traverse in life are sometimes surrounded with thorns, but there can also be beauty there. It would be a perfect twin name for my top girl name, [name_f]Katina[/name_f] [name_f]Elisent[/name_f] [name_u]Raine[/name_u], which means ā€œpure temple pathā€.

[name_u]Solaris[/name_u] [name_m]Whitaker[/name_m] [name_u]Raine[/name_u] - [name_u]Solaris[/name_u] is such a adventurous name, and I love that the nickname would be ā€œSolā€. The name [name_m]Whitaker[/name_m] from the radio show I grew up listening to, Adventures in [name_u]Odyssey[/name_u]. I absolutely love the nickname [name_u]Whit[/name_u]. However, I couldn’t use it as a first name as for me, [name_f]Katina[/name_f] is my top girl name with the nickname [name_u]Kit[/name_u]. As it’s an honour name for my deceased mother who I promised as a child I would name a kid after her, that’s non-negotiable. Still, love the [name_m]Whitaker[/name_m] name, so would probably use it after a few more kids.

That uses up most of my boy names, but on the spot?

[name_m]Joash[/name_m] [name_u]Wynn[/name_u] - I like how this seems a bit more unique than [name_u]Joseph[/name_u] or [name_u]Jack[/name_u] or [name_u]Asher[/name_u] or [name_u]Ashton[/name_u] (and all the etc. for the -ton names), but he could still choose among [name_u]Joe[/name_u], [name_u]Joey[/name_u], or [name_u]Ash[/name_u] as a nickname. It sounds strong, but not pre-defined. And I like [name_u]Wynn[/name_u] because it just sounds nice.

Mine would be…

[name_m]Osiris[/name_m] [name_m]Samuel[/name_m] [name_u]Reign[/name_u]~ [name_m]Osiris[/name_m] has been my absolute favorite name for years now. I just absolutely adore him, the vibes, the sound I love it all. I also love how it sounds in Spanish as well (it would be oh-SEE-dee) which is one of my few naming rules. [name_m]Samuel[/name_m] (sahm-WEHL) is a family name that goes back multiple generations, it was gonna be my middle name if I were born a boy, so I like the whole connection with my mothers side of the family. [name_u]Reign[/name_u] is just a name I’ve liked for a long time, especially this spelling of it. It always felt very regal and dark so I thought it complemented [name_m]Osiris[/name_m] really well!

Zephiro Ɓngel [name_f]Glory[/name_f]~ Zephiro and [name_f]Glory[/name_f] are both super important honors to me. I’m extremely close to my grandmother [name_f]Gloria[/name_f], hence [name_f]Glory[/name_f]. Zephiro is a longer story but overall it’s my grandma’s favorite name on my list. [name_f]My[/name_f] grandma is also a pretty big namenerd (pretty sure I got it from her) so she loves more unusual names. Ɓngel (ahn-HEL) is just a name I love, it’s been and moved from so many combos and I’d use it as a first in a second

[name_u]Hyacinth[/name_u] [name_u]Kiko[/name_u] [name_m]Neizan[/name_m]~ [name_u]Hyacinth[/name_u] is a name I really love. There’s no intricate or special meaning behind it, I just really love it. It feels very stoic and dark and regal but there’s this fun sweetness to it that I really like. [name_u]Kiko[/name_u] is usually a nickname in Spanish, short for Enrique/a or Francisco/a, but I think it’s so fun and makes the more grounded [name_u]Hyacinth[/name_u] more lively. [name_m]Neizan[/name_m] is a very important honor for someone in my life. [name_m]Neizan[/name_m] is the Spanish version of [name_m]Nathan[/name_m] which is their name, but aside from that I just really like the name and think it has a cool, unusual sound to it

[name_m]Prospero[/name_m] [name_m]Damiano[/name_m] [name_m]Xil[/name_m]~ [name_m]Prospero[/name_m] (prah-SPEH-do) is one I just absolutely love, I think he’s so regal and fun. I’ve always loved [name_m]Prosper[/name_m], then I heard the Spanish version of it and absolutely fell for it, what I loved about [name_m]Prosper[/name_m] got elevated and the O and softer pronunciation added so much liveliness to it. [name_m]Damiano[/name_m] is another one I love, it feels very rocker-goth to me which is a vibe I just love. [name_m]Xil[/name_m] is an honor for my grandfather [name_m]Gilberto[/name_m] ā€˜Gil’, I wanted an honor that wasn’t too stretchy but I don’t like a lot of the one similar to [name_m]Gilberto[/name_m], one day I found [name_m]Xil[/name_m] and it’s been a favorite ever since

[name_m]Marsden[/name_m] [name_u]Lyle[/name_u] - [name_u]Lyle[/name_u] was my wife’s grandfather’s name and I just adored him. He and my wife were very close and honoring him is important to us. [name_m]Marsden[/name_m] was mentioned in a [name_u]Baby[/name_u] Name [name_f]Sunday[/name_f] video on Youtube (we watch every week) and we both were like ā€œi love thatā€. [name_f]My[/name_f] wife loves the name [name_u]Mars[/name_u] so that felt like a good way to get that nickname. It fits our style of being uncommon but not shocking. It still feels classy and sophisticated but also fun.

[name_m]Talon[/name_m] [name_u]Jack[/name_u] - [name_m]Talon[/name_m] is a name I’ve loved for years after hearing it on [name_f]Laguna[/name_f] [name_u]Beach[/name_u]. I had such a crush on [name_m]Talan[/name_m] on that show and he had a vibe I just loved. Skater/surfer boy that’s sweet and no drama. It just feels cool to me. [name_u]Jack[/name_u] is my wife’s favorite boy name. I’ve agreed because it’s a nickname for [name_u]John[/name_u] which is my father in law’s name and my paternal grandfather’s name.

[name_u]Wyatt[/name_u] [name_u]Jasper[/name_u] - I love the original Charmed and fell in love with the name [name_u]Wyatt[/name_u]. It’s more popular than I would like but it fits what we look for in a name - cool but not pretentious, fits a lot of personalities. I love the double t ending sound it makes. [name_u]Jasper[/name_u] has been very middle of the road for me for a long time. Usually hovers towards the bottom of my top 25. [name_f]My[/name_f] wife likes it too and it feels like the right fit for us. [name_u]Jasper[/name_u] in nature is seen as a nurturer or protector and we love that connection.

[name_m]Gable[/name_m] [name_u]Reid[/name_u] - We heard [name_m]Gable[/name_m] on [name_u]Baby[/name_u] Name [name_f]Sunday[/name_f] as well and had a similar moment to [name_m]Marsden[/name_m]. We already had [name_u]Gabriel[/name_u] on our list and [name_m]Gable[/name_m] gives the same vibe but isn’t popular by any means. We adore the nickname [name_m]Gabe[/name_m]. For me, I love this old show What’s [name_f]My[/name_f] [name_f]Line[/name_f] from the 50s and my favorite panelist’s husband’s name was [name_m]Martin[/name_m] [name_m]Gable[/name_m]. He was on from time to time as well. It’s a silly connection but it makes me like it even more. [name_u]Reid[/name_u] we just like. I’m not sure if we would truly end up with [name_u]Reid[/name_u] in the middle spot, we’d prefer [name_u]Leo[/name_u] somewhere but can’t land on the right fit. [name_u]Reid[/name_u] is short and sweet, we easily agreed to put it on our list and [name_m]Gable[/name_m] [name_u]Reid[/name_u] feels handsome.

I already have a boy, so I’ll name 3 more :slightly_smiling_face:

[name_u]Luca[/name_u] [name_m]Nathaniel[/name_m]- This is the name I’ve always imagined giving to my next son. It’s so sweet to me! [name_u]Luca[/name_u] is a name I’ve loved since I heard it, but [name_u]Ive[/name_u] never met a [name_u]Luca[/name_u] IRL (same with the other first names on this list.)
[name_m]Nathaniel[/name_m] is a name I heard a lot growing up, and I always thought it was so pretty on paper. This combo has a lot of similarities to my lo’s name: The same syllable pattern, a long flowy middle name, and is in use by boys and girls. (I like the idea that if my sons were to meet someone else with their name, it could be a girl :eyes:)

[name_u]Jasper[/name_u] [name_m]Matteo[/name_m]- Oh, [name_u]Jasper[/name_u]. I love [name_u]Jasper[/name_u], but for the longest time, I could never imagine it on a baby. Someone here mentioned [name_u]Jasper[/name_u] as a girl’s name, and I thought ā€œoh yeah, I could see a baby with that name.ā€
Funny enough, [name_m]Matteo[/name_m] is a name I hear ALL THE TIME. It’s a beautiful name I’ve always loved, but three of my friends have Mateos. However, I think [name_u]Jasper[/name_u] [name_m]Matteo[/name_m] is a perfect balance.

[name_u]Ira[/name_u] MN TBD- I heard [name_u]Ira[/name_u] Glass Introduce himself on NPR, and I was Hooked!! The meaning is gorgeous, the sound is great, and it matches the other names on my list really well. I worry about how close it is to [name_u]Luca[/name_u] ( in this hypothetical sib set ) and my favorite middle for it is [name_u]Jasper[/name_u], which I wouldn’t use if I had a [name_u]Jasper[/name_u] already, but I only plan on having 1 or 2 more kids, so I don’t think that will ever come up.

Summary

R%@n, [name_u]Luca[/name_u], [name_u]Jasper[/name_u], and [name_u]Ira[/name_u] :sparkling_heart:

wilder graham :evergreen_tree: wilder is a name very close to my heart. i love the ā€˜passionate’ meaning and it’s connection to laura ingalls. i grew up on the prairie, so it just feels right for my little one! graham honors two family names, gray and henry!

shepherd hayes :sun_with_face: shepherd is a subtle (and nature-y and rugged) connection to both my catholic faith and my middle name, which means ā€˜sheep!’ hayes is just a name i’ve always loved!

truett steele :ocean: truett has old norse origins, which makes a lovely connection to both my grandmother’s and my boyfriend’s heritage. it means ā€˜riverbend’ and because i grew up on the mississippi, it just seems perfect for my little boy.

rockwell nash :mountain_snow: last but not least is my dear rockwell. i’m just smitten with this name, it’s meaning, and it’s cool, rugged sound. nash is for the connection to nashville- i’m a country music enthusiast.

šŸ›

@Larryisalittledog i love to see oakland used! he would be in my top 4 if shepherd didn’t share an ending with him! christopher is also my dad’s name so your oakland combination is just perfect to me!

[name_m]Boy[/name_m] names are significantly harder for me and I struggled to come up with 4:
[name_u]Henry[/name_u] [name_m]Alan[/name_m] ā€œHalā€
[name_u]Arthur[/name_u] [name_u]Griffin[/name_u] ā€œAriā€
[name_m]Frederick[/name_m] [name_u]Robin[/name_u] ā€œFredā€
[name_u]William[/name_u] [name_m]Aaron[/name_m] ā€œWillā€
First names are just ones I like. [name_u]Henry[/name_u] has been on my list since day one, I like the [name_m]King[/name_m] [name_u]Arthur[/name_u] connection for [name_u]Arthur[/name_u] (although the bear connnection does work as a very subtle honor for one of my grandmas if I want it to), [name_m]Frederick[/name_m] is just nice especially because I really like Fred/Freddie, and [name_u]William[/name_u] is just a very classy name that sounds nice with the others.
For the middles I’m pleased they all end in -n and they all are sentimental/honorific in some fashion:
[name_m]Alan[/name_m] is a direct honor for my dad.
[name_u]Griffin[/name_u] is a variation of a family surname on my mom’s side and I like the fantasy/mythology connection.
[name_u]Robin[/name_u] is for the bird which is a nod to my mom and general positive associaitons with them as well as [name_u]Robin[/name_u] Hood being pretty cool (the animated [name_f]Disney[/name_f] version with the animal characters is one of my favorites).
[name_m]Aaron[/name_m] would be after my bestfriend, [name_u]Erin[/name_u].

[name_u]Gabriel[/name_u] [name_u]Ryan[/name_u] • nn/ [name_m]Gabe[/name_m]

[name_u]Luca[/name_u] [name_m]Patrick[/name_m] • nn/ TBD.

[name_m]Theodore[/name_m] [name_u]Owen[/name_u] • nn/ [name_u]Theo[/name_u].

[name_m]Oliver[/name_m] [name_u]Daniel[/name_u] • nn/ [name_f]Oli[/name_f].

… unlike my girls, my boy names don’t have a whole lot of meaning, other than the fact all their middle names are of irish origin, which is where all my family come from. all of the middles have familial ties, whereas the forenames are just handsome, multicultural names i find so timeless.

yay! so glad you brought this over here! i love reading berry choicesšŸ¤

I barely have any solid combos on my top boy list- so this was a challenge and most of my choices will probably change soonšŸ˜‰

Solstice Jude one combo I’m definitely sure aboutšŸ¤ I’ve loved solstice for awhile now and I’m still not quite over how much I love him ! I love the connection to the sun/sky. jude is for The Beatles Song, ā€œHey Judeā€.

Wilder Joss my other top boy name! I can picture myself with two boys named solstice and wilder so easily. wilder is the perfect combination between rugged and soft- a grounded, green toned name that perfectly fits the image I see of my future son. joss has no special meaning but I love how peppy and short it is!

Harbor Sky I love the meaning of harbor- ā€a place of safety and comfortā€. It’s a warm and cozy name and honors my love of the ocean. I first heard Sky as a male name in ā€œMamma Mia!ā€ and fell in love :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Bright Lyric I adore bright! It’s such a hopeful and virtuous name. The dictionary definition of bright is ā€giving out or reflecting a lot of light; shiningā€ which is just the kind of son I would want to raise. Lyric is for my dad, who is an amazing and way too humble songwriter :white_heart:

sol, wylie, arie & bri

I have so many boys names that I absolutely love ! So a quartet joining [name_m]Deacon[/name_m] [name_m]Allan[/name_m] [name_u]Douglas[/name_u] ( [name_m]Allan[/name_m] and [name_u]Douglas[/name_u] are honour names for our Grandparents)

[name_m]Shepherd[/name_m] [name_u]John[/name_u] [name_u]Taylor[/name_u] - I have loved [name_m]Shepherd[/name_m] for as long as I can remember. We almost named our son [name_m]Shepherd[/name_m] but it was a game time decision. [name_u]John[/name_u] is an honour name for my father in law and [name_u]Taylor[/name_u] is a family name on my side and would honour a ton of people

Benjamin/ [name_m]Benedict[/name_m] [name_m]Patrick[/name_m] - we really want a B name. While [name_u]Benjamin[/name_u] has been one of my longest loves I hesitate because I have a cousin with this name. We aren’t close and have met twice. [name_f]My[/name_f] husband has a few second cousins with this name so I do have some pause. When naming our son [name_m]Deacon[/name_m] I went over the family history to ensure no one had his name , so I feel like [name_m]Benedict[/name_m] may be our best way to have a B name. [name_f]My[/name_f] only worry is having a [name_m]Deacon[/name_m] [name_m]Shepherd[/name_m] and [name_m]Benedict[/name_m] may be a little to religious a theme .
[name_m]Patrick[/name_m] would honour my brother in law, grandmother in law and my aunt

[name_m]Hank[/name_m] [name_m]Kimball[/name_m] - [name_m]Hank[/name_m] is a name we love. [name_m]Hank[/name_m] [name_m]Williams[/name_m] [name_m]Jr[/name_m] in particular. [name_m]Kimball[/name_m] has some funny history. When we buried my grandfather we never knew the K . Of his middle name was for [name_m]Kimball[/name_m]. When I was doing our genealogy on ancestry we found out that the name [name_m]Kimball[/name_m] was a paternal great grandmothers maiden name that was passed down. I think it pairs so well with [name_m]Hank[/name_m]

[name_u]Gabriel[/name_u] [name_u]Forest[/name_u] - I am obsessed with G names and I think [name_u]Gabriel[/name_u] just pairs well with [name_m]Deacon[/name_m] [name_m]Shepherd[/name_m] [name_m]Hank[/name_m] and [name_m]Ben[/name_m] . [name_u]Forest[/name_u] honours my moms side

So
[name_m]Deacon[/name_m] would have brothers [name_m]Shep[/name_m], [name_m]Hank[/name_m], [name_m]Ben[/name_m] and [name_m]Gabe[/name_m]

[name_u]Laurel[/name_u] [name_u]Killian[/name_u] ā€œLaurieā€

-My all time favourite boys’ name. [name_f]My[/name_f] love for [name_u]Laurence[/name_u] became love for [name_u]Lawrence[/name_u] became love for [name_m]Lawrie[/name_m] became love for [name_u]Laurel[/name_u]. I like that it’s gender neutral, nature themed, and its classical associations. [name_u]Killian[/name_u] is an honour for a Cuillean, the traditional spelling, but I like the cutthroat appeal of [name_u]Killian[/name_u].

[name_m]Lemuel[/name_m] [name_u]Jack[/name_u] ā€œLemā€

-Favourite underused biblical name. I went for [name_m]Lem[/name_m] here, though I was close to either [name_u]Jem[/name_u] or [name_u]Clem[/name_u]- the -em ending is friendly and soft, which I like in a boys’ name. Timeless [name_u]Jack[/name_u] balances out unique [name_m]Lemuel[/name_m].

[name_u]Sidney[/name_u] [name_m]Finnbarr[/name_m] ā€œSidā€

-I sort of love boys’ names when they sound like they could be pirates. Again, [name_u]Sid[/name_u] is plain and simple, but not common at all, and I like the kind of toothless, tattooed, [name_u]Jack[/name_u] [name_m]Kerouac[/name_m] vibe. [name_m]Finnbarr[/name_m] is a filler here lol but I do like it a lot.

[name_u]Ivy[/name_u] Saltire

-Oh he definitely sounds like a pirate. [name_u]Ivy[/name_u] is gorgeous for a boy, I like its slightly purr-y sound. Saltire is linked to Scottish independence, and I love that it could almost be a compound of ā€˜salt’ and ā€˜ire’.

If I was to name 4 boys today, not including my [name_m]Son[/name_m] [name_m]Clark[/name_m] [name_m]Isaac[/name_m] and no input from my DH, here is my list

[name_u]Elias[/name_u] [name_m]Macklin[/name_m]: love [name_u]Elias[/name_u], nickname [name_u]Eli[/name_u]. [name_m]Macklin[/name_m] is a fun twist to honor my maiden name.

[name_u]Dorian[/name_u] [name_m]Jorma[/name_m]: love the soft sound of [name_u]Dorian[/name_u]. [name_m]Jorma[/name_m] to honor my grandfather

[name_m]Barnaby[/name_m] [name_m]Moss[/name_m]: Not much to say just that I love it.

[name_m]Cillian[/name_m] [name_u]Blaise[/name_u]: Loved it since I first saw [name_m]Cillian[/name_m] [name_u]Murphy[/name_u] on the screen. [name_u]Blaise[/name_u] for [name_u]Blaise[/name_u] [name_u]Pascal[/name_u] but also because hearing it makes me think of fire (I know blaze), camping hiking and nature

wow, I went into this thinking it would be hard, then went into my list and fell in love with the 3rd-6th names on it as a set!!

[name_m]Kelso[/name_m] [name_u]Rune[/name_u] :shell: - a new love of mine, I fell in love with [name_m]Kelso[/name_m] as soon as I saw him! I love how he feels familiar a la [name_u]Kelsey[/name_u] but modern with the O ending. I struggle finding boy names I love, especially ones that don’t have religious meanings—Kelso’s is ā€œchalk; high ridgeā€ which reminds me of the most beautiful beach I saw in [name_m]Le[/name_m] TrĆ©port, [name_u]France[/name_u]! [name_u]Rune[/name_u] gives it a fantasy, magical feel.

[name_u]Paxton[/name_u] [name_u]Sky[/name_u] :rose: - I’ve loved [name_u]Paxton[/name_u] since I was a teenager, long before I thought it would be accepted (or even appreciated) on nameberry. I love the strong X sound, and the connection to the goddess [name_u]Pax[/name_u]. I think [name_u]Sky[/name_u] helps soften the name, although for someone who loves soft boy names, the prickly sound of [name_u]Paxton[/name_u] actually doesn’t bother me much! It’s also a subtle soccer name, after future (I’m calling it!) USMNT player [name_u]Paxten[/name_u] Aaronson!

[name_u]Forest[/name_u] [name_m]Braith[/name_m] :evergreen_tree: - I fell in love with this name watching [name_m]Forrest[/name_m] Valkai on Youtube, but really it’s always been a perfect abby name! On the softer side, nature connection, wild feel, adventurous spirit, [name_u]Forest[/name_u] has everything! The middle name is still up for debate but sticking with the one-syllable theme I have here, I chose [name_m]Braith[/name_m], which is a new discovery!

[name_u]Zephyr[/name_u] [name_u]Keats[/name_u] :tornado: - fun fact, [name_u]Zephyr[/name_u] was one of my first name loves after I received my first name book at age 10! It was the last name listed for boys and girls! I can’t believe it’s more popular but more for me, I guess! [name_u]Keats[/name_u] is spunky, and I like the literary connection, even if I don’t have a personal affection towards [name_u]Keats[/name_u].

[name_m]Kelso[/name_m], [name_u]Paxton[/name_u], [name_u]Forest[/name_u], & [name_u]Zephyr[/name_u] :white_heart:

If I was naming three brothers to my [name_u]Robin[/name_u] tonight:

[name_u]Atlas[/name_u] Ruska - atlas, autumn colours / autumn foliage

[name_m]Otso[/name_m] [name_m]Artemas[/name_m] - bear, gift of [name_u]Artemis[/name_u]

[name_m]Evert[/name_m] [name_m]Ukko[/name_m] - brave boar, old man / god of thunder

[name_u]Robin[/name_u], [name_u]Atlas[/name_u], [name_m]Otso[/name_m], and [name_m]Evert[/name_m]

[name_f]My[/name_f] favourite boy names all end in -as/-us or -in so it was a bit tough to make a sibset of four boys that’s not too matchy for my taste. Had to move a bit lower down my list for this! And make some tough decisions about with -as/us name to include… I stuck to a pattern of including both a mythology name and a nature name, since that’s what my son has, and I love it.

Theodore Kit ā€œTeddyā€ - It’s my all-time favorite boy name. Theodore is for my grandfather (even though he doesn’t really love the name, I do, and I don’t think he’d mind if I used it to honor him). Kit is just adorable, and I love it. :relaxed:

Daniel Edmund - Daniel is another long-time favorite of mine—sweet, strong, perfectly timeless, and honors my father. Edmund is just an old-fashioned favorite of mine.

Gilbert Henry - This is just a combo of two of my favorite boy names. I fell in love with Gilbert because of Anne of Green Gables, of course, but it’s such a clunky-cool and highly underrated name! Henry is a classic, and I’ve just always loved it.

Walter Nathanael - Again, simply two of my sweet, old-fashioned favorites. I love Walter’s gentle sound, and that it’s familiar, but not common. Nathanael is a strong name, with a rich sound and beautiful meaning.

For boys, I would go for a [name_u]Christmas[/name_u] movie and Grandpa theme.

[name_u]George[/name_u] [name_m]Ralphie[/name_m] - [name_u]George[/name_u] is an honor name for my mom who loves It’s A [name_u]Wonderful[/name_u] Life. [name_m]Ralphie[/name_m] is for my dad who loves A [name_u]Christmas[/name_u] [name_u]Story[/name_u].
[name_u]Harry[/name_u] [name_u]Arthur[/name_u] - For [name_u]Harry[/name_u] [name_m]Potter[/name_m], and my great-grandfather.
[name_u]Robert[/name_u] [name_m]Clark[/name_m] - [name_u]Robert[/name_u] was my grandfather’s name and [name_m]Bob[/name_m] was his nickname. [name_m]Clark[/name_m] for [name_u]Christmas[/name_u] Vacation.
[name_m]Oscar[/name_m] [name_m]Louis[/name_m] - [name_m]Oscar[/name_m] was my SO’s grandfather’s name. The nickname [name_m]Ox[/name_m] is from While You Were Sleeping. [name_m]Louis[/name_m] is an honor for my SO’s grandmother, [name_f]Lois[/name_f].

[name_u]Georgie[/name_u], [name_u]Harry[/name_u], [name_m]Bob[/name_m] & [name_m]Ox[/name_m] :christmas_tree: :snowflake: :snowman_with_snow: :cookie: :socks: :scarf:

Today I would say [name_u]Kieran[/name_u], [name_m]Luke[/name_m], [name_u]George[/name_u], and [name_u]Ramsey[/name_u].

Realistically? Hm

[name_u]Paris[/name_u] [name_m]Thomas[/name_m]- I’ve always loved [name_u]Paris[/name_u] on a boy, after [name_u]Prince[/name_u] [name_u]Paris[/name_u] from [name_u]Troy[/name_u] or [name_m]Romeo[/name_m] & [name_f]Juliet[/name_f]. [name_m]Thomas[/name_m] after my father who passed. I want my first son to carry his name on.

[name_m]Jetson[/name_m] [name_u]Michael[/name_u]- Recently crushing on this name. I love the nickname [name_u]Jet[/name_u]. Especially with a degree in aviation I think it would be cool. I’ve always loved the name [name_u]Michael[/name_u] but never the shortened [name_m]Mike[/name_m] hence its placement as a middle name.

[name_u]Elijah[/name_u] [name_u]Bradley[/name_u]- Always thought [name_u]Elijah[/name_u] was a handsome name. Always felt the same about [name_u]Bradley[/name_u].

[name_u]Adley[/name_u] [name_u]Henry[/name_u]- [name_u]Adley[/name_u] is my ideal name for a girl. If I never had one and got down to my last boy, I’d name him [name_u]Adley[/name_u]. The traditional spelling for a boy is [name_m]Adlai[/name_m] but I think that’s harder to pronounce so I’d prefer the name more simplistic. [name_u]Henry[/name_u] is my ideal middle name for [name_u]Paris[/name_u], but then my dad passed and his middle name has changed.

[name_u]Paris[/name_u], [name_u]Jet[/name_u], [name_u]Elijah[/name_u], & [name_u]Adley[/name_u]

[name_f]My[/name_f] two existing sons are [name_u]Levi[/name_u] [name_u]Joseph[/name_u] and [name_u]Griffin[/name_u] [name_m]Cole[/name_m]. So with two other boys, they would realistically be…

[name_u]Levi[/name_u] [name_u]Joseph[/name_u] - we loved [name_u]Levi[/name_u] and [name_u]Joseph[/name_u] is in honor of my husband’s father and brother
[name_u]Griffin[/name_u] [name_m]Cole[/name_m] - [name_u]Griffin[/name_u] is a nod to my brother [name_u]Glen[/name_u], and [name_m]Cole[/name_m] is a nod to my husband’s sister [name_f]Nicole[/name_f]
[name_m]Alec[/name_m] [name_m]Stephen[/name_m] - [name_m]Alec[/name_m] feels like an underused classic to me. [name_m]Stephen[/name_m] would be honoring my husband and dad (both Steven) and me (Stephanie)
[name_u]Tate[/name_u] [name_m]Theodore[/name_m] - [name_u]Tate[/name_u] feels familiar, spunky, and sweet. [name_m]Theodore[/name_m] would be honoring an uncle.

[name_u]Levi[/name_u], [name_u]Griffin[/name_u], [name_m]Alec[/name_m] and [name_u]Tate[/name_u] <3
