While her mother has recovered now, her parents have decided to retire in a year and officially make [name_f]Ophélie[/name_f] the queen. The announcement was made at the [name_u]New[/name_u] Year’s Ball. [name_f]Ophélie[/name_f] is both happy and nervous to become [name_f]Queen[/name_f], and will do her best to help her people.
Arrocha being such a small kingdom surrounded by other more powerful countries, it’s important to not show weakness, hence the reason why Ophélie’s great grandfather made a law that all heirs must be married before ascension to the throne. While [name_f]Ophélie[/name_f] understands why the law was made and will do her duty, she isn’t necessarily thrilled about it either.

A month has passed since the announcement, and eleven months are left till the coronation.
