Since people seemed to enjoy my T post, I thought I’d do the same for A names. Rank the following list of 30 A names and I’ll tally up a communal list. If you’re following my other posts, you’ll recognize these as the first middle names I have used in more than one TAM combo.
If you find a name unusable or just don’t like it at all, stick it in a discard pile (the discard pile helps me tally points and not forget names to detract from).
These are so fun! I’m sorry I haven’t been more active on your recent initials posts, I keep trying to carve out some time to answer properly but time can be hard to come by around here!
These are in order of personal preference, and sub-sorted according to the age-old principle of [name_u]Love[/name_u]/Like/Lose
[name_f]Alienor[/name_f] (but I hesitate over the “alien” bit)

[name_f]Alcie[/name_f]
Arsinoë (I struggle to see past the first syllable )
I especially adore the options up to and including [name_u]Artemis[/name_u]. And although [name_f]Astrid[/name_f] is my personal favourite, I love the more extravagant options for you: [name_f]Apolline[/name_f], [name_f]Antigone[/name_f] and [name_f]Arianell[/name_f] are gorgeous options that feel suitably eccentric and undiscovered, but still rich in history and sophistication.
Your absence has been noted but I totally recognize the time commitment aspect. I plan on doing a post or two once I finish the last two ([name_f]Twila[/name_f] and [name_f]Thisbe[/name_f]!!) of my top 10 to round things out and pit favorites against one another and then one final post asking for feedback on a select few of the very favorites. So there is still time to chime in!
I like [name_f]Katinka[/name_f]’s idea of [name_u]Love[/name_u]/Like/Lose. And these aren’t in any certain order within each category. They’re too far from my style in names for me to rank them that much. lol

These are fun! I think I’m a bit less adventurous with As than I was with Ts…

Discard:
Asphodel - I feel like this is like naming your daughter Purgatory. I also don’t like the shared sounds with asphalt.
[name_f]Agrippa[/name_f] - “Get agrip (pa)!”
Arsinoë - This one is kind of cool, but I dislike the shared sounds with “arsenal.”
[name_f]Asterope[/name_f]/Asteropée - Too hard to pronounce.
Anthémis - Too close to “anathema.”
