I am seriously frusterated by the goofy 12 year old that have infilltrated this site by post crazy threads!! Can’t we do something about this???I mean really!! Tickytocky!!make it stop!!!

I found them mildly amusing and just ignored them until now but the whole first page and some of the second page is full of troll topics. Its very frustrating! All the legitimate topics are being bumped down to the archives because of this. I can’t find any real threads to respond to right now!

Yes, the troll problem has gotten out of control lately. Would it be possible to get more moderators so that this problem can be dealt with? I find this entire situation really disappointing as I love Nameberry but I’ve never been on a naming site that had this big of a troll problem, especially with such obvious trolls.

Woah!!! Now I know what you’re talking about!!! Maybe we should start a [name]Berry[/name] rebellion and make 100s of good threads to cancel out the bad ones.

Is there a reason we’ve become such a target lately? I usually ignore the trolling, but I’m curious. This has been an escalating problem lately. For a while I thought it was the same girl or maybe a small group of friends who kept coming back over and over again under different usernames, but now I’m not sure.

We need to spread the word somehow to other Berries. I’ve no idea how. We need to get replying to some other threads as well so they move up the ranks. Honestly, this situation has got me so angry that I had to walk away from the computer and do something to stop me doing something drastic. To every berry: Spread the word and make new good threads.

nono, I think many of them are the same person. [name]One[/name] or two are people who “let their sisters, friends, and coworkers use their accounts” :-/. Here are the trolls I have seen as of late:

There is also someone (I can’t remeber the username) that keeps replying to them so they move up the rankings. It makes me feel sick!!!

I accidentally replied to a few before I realised they were trolls, so that could have been me. I think we should start replying to the legit threads that have gotten bumped off the first page so that the troll threads get bumped down, is that a good idea?

More new threads sound good to me too! It seems the majority of the posts are in the girls name section.

If it’s the same people coming back over and over again, I wonder if the problem could be helped having the moderators block their IP addresses? I’ve never moderated a community so I’m not sure if that even makes sense. I’m just frustrated by this problem. The troll issue seems to have been escalating for months, first with all of the fakers we’ve been getting lately and now with the blatant trolls. Has this always been a problem and I’m just now noticing it?
