[name_f]Natalya[/name_f] likes to keep her phone, earbuds, and some gum in her pockets.
2- What Is A Bad Habit They Have?
[name_f]Natalya[/name_f] is literally gorgeous, but she twiddles and messes up her hair when she gets nervous.
She also has the bad habit of cramming late at night before tests/exams/projects, even if she doesn’t need to.
3- [name_f]Do[/name_f] They [name_f]Believe[/name_f] In [name_f]Happy[/name_f] Endings?
She does believe that everything will work out eventually, but wishes it could happen sooner.
4- How [name_f]Do[/name_f] They Handle Anger/Frustration?
When [name_f]Natalya[/name_f] is angry with others, she tends to tell them straight to their face, and very very honestly. She often ends up snapping or yelling at someone when they don’t listen to what she’s telling them.
When she’s angry at herself, she beats herself up to a ridiculously unhealthy amount, and then cries herself to sleep.
5- What Are Their Thoughts On Lying?
Only do it if it’s necessary to protect someone.
6- If They Could Choose How They Would Die What Would They Pick?
[name_f]Natalya[/name_f] has brushed with, watched other people brush with, and heard about death so many times that she wouldn’t want to think about it.
But she’d likely end up choosing something instant and painless.

I mean, [name_f]Natalya[/name_f] is only 16, so she’s technically still a child. But when she was younger, she was much more fun-loving and much more loose. She had a lot less mental health problems and never held a grudge against anyone. I guess you could say she was more patient and less vengeful as well.

[name_f]Natalya[/name_f] and her parents are extremely close. Her parents are extremely direct and honest, which can cause some disagreements sometimes, but they are her biggest rocks.

Honestly, probably half-empty. Her view of the world at this point is basically “As long as I can protect what I have and as long as I do everything right it’ll be fine”, which, obviously, is near impossible to maintain.

Her lack of self-confidence/self-esteem, or her way of bottling up emotions and thoughts until they just explode.

There’s this one unnamed kid that’s been racially bullying her recently, and she hates him, but she also admires how persistent he is.

Probably words of affirmation, or compliments. She’s so insecure that she secretly consistently needs to be reminded how awesome she is.
A 2nd place would probably go to physical touch, because although she hides behind that strong and thick facade, she secretly loves hugs and high fives and just being close to people.

It depends on the context. She would be hurt if, say, a close friend lied to her, especially if it was about something important, but if it was to avoid trouble with authority figures, such as parents or law enforcement, then Kaminari is completely cool with it. She knows that lying is necessary in sometimes.

If she were to choose how she would die, she would choose to overdose on a substance that would make her feel good on her way out.

Her parental relationships are subpar, to say the least. She never knew her mother, [name_f]Sumire[/name_f] Tsuchiya, who died during childbirth. She grew up without any connection to her Japanese heritage, being the only [name_f]Asian[/name_f] in her neighborhood and her maternal relatives rejecting her because they disapproved of her mother and father’s relationship. She was raised solely by her father, [name_m]Trevor[/name_m], who was distant and irritable. After Sumire’s death, [name_m]Trevor[/name_m] basically gave up on life, drowning his sorrows in alcohol whenever he off the clock. Kaminari lacked a solid parental figure to guide her through her early and adolescent years, and this resulted in her being a problem child that aggravated and disrespected her father. After [name_m]Trevor[/name_m] disowned her after their biggest fight ever, Kaminari vowed to never speak to him again.

Despite all that’s happened in her life, Kaminari tries earnestly to be a glass half-full person, though that may just be a coping mechanism.

Hard to say, but I’d say her biggest flaw is failure to accept responsibility for her actions. That, and her tendency to pressure others to participate in her behaviors- even when she knows it’s bad for them.

Technically, Kaminari has two worst enemies: [name_f]Cherianne[/name_f] “Cherry” [name_m]Dubois[/name_m] and her manager slash adoptive father, [name_m]Giuseppe[/name_m] Tamborello. While it’s never confirmed in-story, it’s implied that Kaminari once had feelings for [name_f]Cherry[/name_f], which would explain why her hatred is so potent even after years had passed since their last interaction. When they were friends, Kaminari admired everything about [name_f]Cherry[/name_f]- her beauty, her confidence, her grace- everything. With the capacity of hindsight, however, and perhaps just a tiny bit of spite- Kaminari realizes that most of what she loved about [name_f]Cherry[/name_f] was probably fake. Regarding [name_m]Giuseppe[/name_m], Kaminari has an extreme love-hate relationship with the bastard. Yes, he’s done many awful things to her in their few years together, but he also helped her reach an amount of success and fortune she never could’ve even dreamed of achieving had she not met him. There are two things she concretely admires about him: his hard work ethic, and his confidence. In a twisted way, [name_m]Giuseppe[/name_m] is just about everything Kaminari wishes she could be yet can’t.

Oof, where to start? Kaminari needs to learn how to be a proper adult, first and foremost. Secondly, Kaminari needs to realize her agency and worth, as she views herself as solely being good for music- a belief that influences her entire life, even though she doesn’t realize it.

She isn’t really a candy person, but if she was, she’d probably be big on Japanese candies like Konpeito and jelly candy.

Kaminari struts around with a fragile sense of confidence that borders on narcissism, but underneath is a boiling pot of insecurity and self-doubt. Her biggest insecurity is her lack of self-worth outside of singing and dancing; she doesn’t really view herself as someone worthy of attention and praise aside from her talents.

Her favorite thing about herself is her quick-wit and humor; she thinks she’s pretty funny, even when others are less than enthused at her jabs and remarks.

If Kaminari could redesign society, it would reflect her own worst impulses: leisurely working hours, constant partying, countless fast-food chains, fashion stores, J-Pop and K-Pop on radio 24/7, etc.

Kaminari isn’t one to bat an eye at scary movies, but if she was watching one alongside someone she knew was a big chicken, she’d spend the movie doing everything she can to worsen their fear- screaming at tense moments, tackling on them during a jumpscare, etc. She’d relish the effect her theatrics were having on them.

I’m going to cover my two current characters in my novel that I’m working on called ‘The Aetherial Repository’. I’ll do separate posts but I’ll cover them both.

Yes, she gets very irritated, irrational and (sometimes) violent whenever something doesn’t go as she hopes it would’ve but she’s never killed or hurt anyone. Her twin brother, [name_m]Alexei[/name_m], on the other hand probably has.

Killed her parents after she and [name_m]Alexei[/name_m] were sent to The Aetherial Repository for schooling. But that’s about the worst I have ever done so far to them.

She’s from a different story of mine called Project [name_f]Violet[/name_f] (and no, it’s not named after her). She’s just an amazing character that I wish I could be like. She’s quiet, sweet and friendly.

This is partially a character-building exercise! He’s not very well-rounded yet, but I bet he will be once I finish this. He’s actually been dead for over thirty years and is completely irrelevant to the main story, so I don’t know why I’m doing this lol
CASPER RIALLI
1: He was a mechanic and an inventor, so he carried around a lot of gadgets and gears. Also cleaning supplies.
2: He drank more than he probably should have, which would have caused problems later in life if he hadn’t gotten himself killed in a workshop explosion at the age of 36. He also didn’t regulate his emotions well, and was prone to lashing out.
3: Not really, no. He did when he was younger and full of dreams, but by the end of his life he had lost a lot of his faith in the world and in happiness.
4: Poorly, very poorly. When he couldn’t get something to work right, he would usually just destroy it (including his relationship, which was probably the best he would ever have gotten).
5: He didn’t really have a problem with it, if it felt right. Lying for the sake of it he found distasteful, but not exactly morally wrong.
6: Not an explosion, that’s for sure. If you’d asked him, he’d say he wanted to die peacefully in his sleep at an old age (following a long life with his ex, [name_m]Fiero[/name_m], but I doubt he’d have admitted that even to himself). Actually, he dreamt of immortality and wouldn’t have wanted to die at all, if he could help it. Contrastingly, though, by the end of his life he honestly wasn’t sure what he was living for, and it’s possible that even without the explosion, he wouldn’t have lasted much longer.
7: He was a surprisingly happy and well-adjusted kid. Never great at regulating his emotions, but when he was little those emotions were mostly excitement about new projects. It wasn’t until he was a teenager that he started getting bitter and disillusioned.
8: No, but he has a lot of scars (mostly on his hands) from being an inventor.
9: Great, actually. So many characters have daddy or mommy issues, but [name_m]Casper[/name_m] wasn’t not one of them. His parents did their best to support him throughout his life, but it wasn’t enough through no fault of theirs.
10: It depends when you ask. In his youth, half-full, but later, half-empty.
11: He wouldn’t have said he had any flaws, but it was definitely arrogance.
12: Casper’s worst enemy was probably his own mind, and there are a lot of things he liked about his mind, but the biggest was his razor-sharp intelligence.
13: “If at first you don’t succeed, just give up and do something else.” (This made him a decent mechanic but a terrible boyfriend.)
14: So many things. How to have a functioning relationship, how to have a plan B for your life instead of ending up as a washed-up thirty-something failed creative, proper workshop safety to avoid explosions. . . the list goes on.
15: [name_f]Candy[/name_f] canes. [name_m]Casper[/name_m] was a fiend for candy canes.
16: Honestly, he was too arrogant for insecurities. The problem was always with other people or with something out of anyone’s control, never him. However, after he and [name_m]Fiero[/name_m] broke up, he did worry that he would never find romantic love again and got somewhat insecure about that (which turned out to be true).
17: He really liked how smart he was, and how good he was at coming up with ideas.
18: Well, for starters, he would put himself in charge. He always craved more power than he had, and made actual plans for world domination. The bitterness arising from those failed plans was mostly what led to his downfall. If he had conquered the world, he would have established a meritocracy and eliminated discrimination on other bases, so that the only barrier to success would be one’s own abilities (and he’d have legitimized his rule by saying that since he was able to achieve world domination, obviously he must be the best and therefore the most fit to be in charge).
19: Yes.
20: He almost never remembered his dreams, but once as a teenager he had one about unicorns with chainsaws for horns, which he enjoyed a lot, and he made a ton of little chainsaw unicorn statues. [name_m]Fiero[/name_m] still had one of them when he died, probably, or he might have given one to [name_m]Pax[/name_m] (Fiero’s apprentice).
21: A holiday created by [name_m]Casper[/name_m] would most likely be in his own honor (because he would be in charge of the world), and celebrations would probably include eating candy canes and being creative. I have now decided that next [name_m]Friday[/name_m], [name_f]October[/name_f] 25, is Casperday and that I’m going to eat candy canes and be creative, because honestly I want an excuse to do that.
22: He had a lot of good childhood memories, but he cherished the memories of going apple-picking with his parents every year (which continued to happen for his whole life, it was very wholesome).
23: Honestly? Being ignored. He was never one for small talk, and the charisma he had mostly originated from his intellect, not his social skills.
24: [name_m]Cas[/name_m], by [name_m]Fiero[/name_m], and sometimes [name_f]Cassie[/name_f] by his parents.
25: Yes, absolutely. This probably did happen. I don’t know exactly what he and [name_m]Fiero[/name_m] would have gone as, but I feel confident that it was something.
26: I can imagine him getting really into pumpkin carving and figuring out ways to make the lights inside of Jack-O-Lanterns brighter and cooler-looking with machines. That’s canon now.

30: He was once sent by his father, a painter, to buy red-and-white striped paint for the barber poles (a common gimmick among painters), and while most kids would realize that a trick was being played on them after the first few stores, 9-year-old [name_m]Casper[/name_m] went to every store within ten miles of where they lived looking for the paint, which obviously didn’t exist. When he came back, he angrily complained to his dad about “paint shops nowadays,” and his dad, finding the whole situation hilarious, never told him it was a joke. He believed it for literally two years until he figured it out (at which point he was very annoyed with his dad).

[name_f][/name_f]1. What is the most violent thing your character has done or will do?
[name_m]Jahmari[/name_m] isn’t a violent person, despite his unfriendly nature. I could only imagine him becoming violent against someone who really antagonized him, such as his school bullies, [name_m]Troy[/name_m] McIntosh, [name_f]Shirley[/name_f] Tilford, and [name_f]Desiree[/name_f] Purifoy. At some point in the story, he’s going to take a few swings at them.
[name_f][/name_f]2. What is the worst thing you have done to your character?
[name_f][/name_f]With [name_m]Jahmari[/name_m], it’s hard to say. His condition has isolated him from his peers for most of his life, not to mention the bullying/mockery he’s endured at every school he’s attended. So far, he’s attended eight separate schools in three separate states since he was seven years old. He was constantly being uprooted, preventing him from making any lasting connections. This, compounded by the constant bullying, has understandably left him a very bitter teenager, unwilling to bond with his new classmates as he doubts they’ll be there for very long anyway.

[name_f][/name_f]Jahmari’s a pretty relaxed guy, so he doesn’t do anything too out of the ordinary.

[name_f][/name_f]Hard to say. [name_m]Jahmari[/name_m] isn’t a stupid boy, although anxiety can make him do foolish things.

[name_f][/name_f]It’s hard to pinpoint one person he favors above all else. Overall, [name_m]Jahmari[/name_m] likes his family and his friend-and-eventual-crush, [name_f]Harper[/name_f] Mortenson.

[name_f][/name_f][name_m]Jahmari[/name_m] definitely fears two things: rejection and intimacy. He’s afraid of his peers rejecting him for his condition, so he acts unfriendly and aloof, but he’s afraid of getting attached to anyone in case he has to leave again, or the other person leaves him. Almost paradoxical, isn’t it?

[name_f][/name_f][name_m]Jahmari[/name_m] likes music, especially electronic music such as Synthwave and lo-fi. Of course, he enjoys moderate amounts of rap and hip hop as well.

[name_m]Jahmari[/name_m] eventually buddies up to a much louder and more rambunctious [name_m]Jordan[/name_m] Stevenson; the pair are like ying and yang.

So far, no. Everyone of Jahmari’s relatives is still alive.

Anywho, it took some time, but he gradually developed feelings for one of his only friends, [name_f]Harper[/name_f] Mortenson. He was hella nervous about confessing to her for the longest time, though. He mostly dropped obvious hints of affection towards her, yet good ol’ [name_f]Harper[/name_f], the emotionally unavailable Demiromantic she is, never picked up on these signs. Hell, her friend [name_m]Skipper[/name_m] noticed these signs way earlier than she did!

[name_f][/name_f]Despite his initially brusque facade, I’d say [name_m]Jahmari[/name_m] is lawful good. He has no malicious intent towards anyone, nor does he have any criminal inclinations.

[name_f][/name_f]As of right now, [name_m]Jahmari[/name_m] is fourteen years old, and his birthday is right around the corner- [name_f]February[/name_f] 28th! I imagine he’s the type who hates celebrating and finds it embarrassing, however.
[name_f][/name_f]5. If your character had to pick one food to eat for the rest of their life, what food would they pick?
[name_f][/name_f][name_m]Jahmari[/name_m] would probably choose Macaroni and hot dogs, as he loves those kinds of high-calorie meals.

[name_f][/name_f]If stranded, [name_m]Jahmari[/name_m] would simply bring his parents with him because he’s wholeheartedly dependent on them for everything.

Eventually, [name_f]Harper[/name_f] Mortenson took it upon herself to do her due diligence and try to preach the word of her religion as she was instructed by her parents, and that opened the gateway to forming a genuine friendship between them and Harper’s kinds-sorta friend, [name_m]Skipper[/name_m] McCloud.

[name_f][/name_f]In a murder mystery, I think [name_m]Jahmari[/name_m] would double as a suspect and the red herring, given his antisocial behavior might makes others weary of him. Once he’s cleared, however, he might be elevated to the detective’s sidekick, as I think he’d be decent at investigating and piecing together the evidence and using logic to determine possible culprit.

He’s wildly different from your [name_m]Jahmari[/name_m] (he’s a sailor, 22, and very self-confident), but I think it’s neat that they have almost the same name
