Here we go… [name_f]October[/name_f], [name_u]November[/name_u], [name_u]December[/name_u]!
I just found out about my 2nd kiddo after months of symptom spotting and disappointment and I’m super excited to announce here because we’re keeping it a secret from friends & family for a while like last time. [name_m]EDD[/name_m] [name_f]October[/name_f] 5, 2017.
Hello @jadnf and congratulations! Thanks for starting off the board!
I’m hoping to be joining you soon.
I love your sons name btw. If we have a boy he will be named [name_m]Kenneth[/name_m], also a family name for us.
@asche926 Thank you! Oh how darling, [name_m]Kenneth[/name_m] is a perfect name in my opinion. We used it in the middle but I wouldn’t have minded it in the slightest as a first. Hoping you will be joining soon! Fingers crossed for ya
I got my positive today. The baby will be due in [name_f]October[/name_f]. Congratulations to everyone else. Please pray that the baby sticks and is healthy and full term. Thank you!
I’ve been snuffly/sore throat cold symptoms for a week or two now, but not sure if it’s a pregnancy thing or if I really am sick as other people in my family are legitimately sick at the moment… Oh well!
I tried to explain to my 1.5 year old that he’s going to be a big brother and he had no understanding whatsoever haha! I’m thinking I’ll try again in 6 months
Cautiously excited to join this group. I was pregnant last year (first pregnancy) but it ended up being ectopic so I am a nervous wreck being pregnant again, to be honest. But, it “feels” different than last time so hopefully that is a good sign. My [name_m]EDD[/name_m] is [name_f]October[/name_f] 7th. I’ve been going to get my levels checked every other day since last week and I have an early ultrasound next week at 6 weeks, 5 days or so to confirm the little bean made it to the right spot this time. Here’s hoping!
@alyssakate I am cautious as well. My third pregnancy ended up being ectopic as well and I had my tube and ovary removed. This one feels different for me too. One major thing I notice is morning sickness. I’ve actually been experiencing it! I never thought I’d be happy for morning sickness! I was almost 7 weeks before they found it was ectopic (my tube had ruptured too) and I had no morning sickness or fatigue. [name_m]Just[/name_m] hunger. I didn’t feel pregnant. So, I get where you are coming from. I have to wait until I am 10 weeks for my first ultrasound.
My [name_m]EDD[/name_m] is [name_f]October[/name_f] 15, so I am just shy of 5 weeks. I took three pregnancy test (one three days before my missed period) and they were all negative. When I was two days late, I tested and I got my BFP! I’m excited and I feel a lot more positive about this pregnancy. I had a bad feeling my last pregnancy and I was right. Of course, it always weighs on my mind this time that something could go wrong but, I am remaining optimistic. As I stated above, I’ve been experiencing symptoms I had with my first two pregnancies.
AF is due tomorrow and I have taken three tests so far. The first two were quite faint but tonight’s test was a beautiful strong pink line!
My [name_m]EDD[/name_m] is [name_f]October[/name_f] 22. After two miscarriages I am being cautiously optimistic. Typically my OB schedules the first appt for 10-12 weeks for the first ultrasound. I’m going to ask when I call tomorrow if I can be seen earlier because of my history. Hopefully I can be seen around 8-9 weeks just to put my mind at ease.
In the past we have told family when I’ve been pregnant before waiting to go to the doctor. My two miscarriages were recent (12 and 8 months ago) so we decided this time to wait until confirmation from the doctors appt before telling family. My sisters are always quick to ask questions when I’m not drinking though, so hopefully the secret stays under wraps.
As long as this one is a sticky baby then our kids will be 28 months apart. Yay!
[name_m]Just[/name_m] dropping in to say congratulations to you ladies, and wishing you all the very best with your pregnancies! Hopefully there will be more to join your group soon
So very excited to join this group! I decided to take a test because, hey, mid month and no AF… BFP! Went to have blood work to confirm, which should give us a better idea of due date (my cycle was odd in [name_u]January[/name_u]). [name_m]Little[/name_m] one should be here end of [name_f]October[/name_f]! [name_f]Hope[/name_f] everyone is doing well!
First time posting but have been a massive Nameberry stalker since having our first babe in [name_f]October[/name_f] 2014. We are certainly ready to give our [name_f]Emilia[/name_f] [name_u]Holland[/name_u] a sibling and hopefully can get the BFP in the next day or two.
Congrats to all the newbies like myself! [name_m]How[/name_m] exciting to see the group growing!
I am not even five weeks yet and had some very light spotting today. It was a few wipes worth, nothing since. I am freaking out internally. I know it can be normal to have some bleeding in early pregnancy and I know this is nothing how my last miscarriage happened. But I’m still so nervous. Blood is nothing a pregnant woman wants to see. I am hoping and praying that it is nothing.
@asche926 I hope you are doing well. I found out I am 5-6 weeks and definitely working hard not to freak out at every little twinge. I can’t imagine how that is multiplied when you had a miscarriage. We are here for you.
[name_m]Hi[/name_m] - I got my very unexpected BFP two weeks ago. I only tested to put my mind at ease that I was definitely NOT pregnant. I turn 40 in [name_u]June[/name_u], and after years of infertility both my children are IVF babies. So, um, this was a surprise! I’m trying to muster joy through the nausea. A lot of mental furniture is being rearranged. I estimate I’m due around [name_f]October[/name_f] 11. I live in the UK, so am waiting for a call from the midwife to find out what happens next.
[name_m]New[/name_m] to Nameberry after months of lurking whilst trying to conceive baby number 2! I lost a baby at 9 weeks last [name_f]October[/name_f] and as happy as I would be to have another baby, I’m feeling very cautious. [name_m]EDD[/name_m] [name_f]October[/name_f] 10th and first appointment [name_f]Monday[/name_f] - all of my fingers will be crossed until then.
@asche926 - [name_u]Truly[/name_u] a terrifying feeling, praying for a sticky baby x
