Thank you for the support!
[name_f][/name_f]@_thelittlefairywren[name_f][/name_f] Im glad you like it, [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] has never been on my list until a couple of days ago that I suddenly felt in love with it, as for M@bel I think it sounds better in english, in my language I dont like how its pronounced, but we’ll see.
[name_f][/name_f]@turnip[name_f][/name_f] if we end up using [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] Id like to find a different nickname! Maybe something like Mel/Meli/Mimi I dont know yet
[name_f][/name_f]I don’t think it’s a problem that your nephew has that middle name, if [name_m]Fox[/name_m] is your favourite I wouldnt doubt it! i really like [name_m]Fox[/name_m] btw, specially as a middle
@jules95[name_f][/name_f] congratulations!! Fingers crossed for you that this little one grows healthy and strong!
[name_f][/name_f]@turnip[name_f][/name_f], awe how sweet, another boy! Congratulations! I love [name_m]Desmond[/name_m] [name_m]Fox[/name_m] btw. I don’t think it’s a big deal for cousins to share a middle name. Several of my siblings and cousins on one side share middles and no one blinks an eye.
[name_f][/name_f]@AlSP[name_f][/name_f] both options are pretty! I hope you can find something both of you love ![]()
We’re tossing around [name_f]Isla[/name_f] [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] atm. It checks several boxes for us but I don’t know if I can commit yet ![]()
@namergirl3[name_f][/name_f] Oooo [name_f]Isla[/name_f] [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] is so pretty! Very girly and floral ![]()
@namergirl3[name_f][/name_f] [name_f]Isla[/name_f] [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] is so[name_f][/name_f] pretty!!
Well nausea and headaches seem to have hit me overnight from [name_f]Tuesday[/name_f] to [name_f]Wednesday[/name_f]. I’m trying to consciously increase my water consumption and eat little snacks throughout the day, but I’m definitely having a little trouble adjusting. At least this gives me more hope for a sticky little one though!
I’ve had vomiting and nausea daily during the first trimestre with both pregnancies, it sucks but I do think you should take it as a sign that things are progressing nicely ![]()
I’m already 18 weeks along, I feel fine, my belly is really big, maybe like my 24 week belly in my previous pregnancy. I’m a little concerned that I dont feel the baby’s movement yet. Last time I started to feel bubbles at 18w and kicks at 20w, but its supossed to happen earlier in a second pregnancy! I have anterior placenta this time so I hope it’s just that.
How is everyone doing?
I am about 14 wks now. [name_f]My[/name_f] tummy has been growing and my pants barely fit. [name_f]My[/name_f] mat clothes that i already have are mainly just tights for winter, but its summer here so i need something new. I was going to get new mat pants before my new job this week, but everything is closed. I was symptom free a couple weeks ago but insomia, back pain, etc has come back full swing.
[name_f][/name_f]On the bright side, i heard his heartbeat last week at my dr appt. A healthy 140. That eases my mind.
[name_m]Hi[/name_m]! [name_m]Can[/name_m] I join in?![]()
[name_f][/name_f]11 weeks tomorrow (due 9/1 but my babies are always late so I am telling people mid-September)![]()
Expecting #5[name_f][/name_f]! Blood test says girl.
[name_f][/name_f]Siblings are [name_m]Abel[/name_m], [name_f]Olive[/name_f], [name_f]Fern[/name_f] and [name_f]Pearl[/name_f].
17 weeks now. I’m definitely showing now but haven’t had to break out the maternity clothes quite yet. Still, my body changing has really increased my back and joint pain. I hate that there isn’t much to do for it.
[name_f][/name_f]Anyhow, I haven’t definitively felt [name_m]Baby[/name_m] moving either. I thought I felt some bubbles today but I’m not sure. I can’t remember when I first felt my son moving but I know it took awhile (anterior placenta). I read it was supposed to be sooner with subsequent pregnancies but that isn’t the case so far!
[name_f][/name_f]I do have a check up this week so hopefully hearing her heartbeat will bring some comfort. Then the anatomy scan is at the end of the month! Ahhh! It’s happening so fast.
@OliveShoot[name_f][/name_f] [name_m]Welcome[/name_m]! Exciting, another girl! Any idea on names? If this baby was a girl, she would’ve been [name_f]Fern[/name_f] ![]()
@namergirl3[name_f][/name_f] I remember being able to feel my son kind of late-ish, too, only because I was starting to get a little worried. Can’t believe your anatomy scan is so soon! It’s funny, you are only a few weeks ahead of me, but it seems like a lifetime. Then the babies come and everyone blends together.
With my first I felt kicks early and with my second I felt them a lot later, maybe by 4 weeks or so. It was due to anterior placenta!
I love [name_m]Desmond[/name_m] [name_m]Fox[/name_m], by the way! And agree it doesn’t matter about cousins sharing. We have some names that are shared amongst cousins in the first or middle spots too).
[name_f][/name_f]This baby will probably be [name_f]Birdie[/name_f] [name_f]Katherine[/name_f]!
I swear, these babies love to keep us on our toes lol! And it doesn’t ever seem to stop ![]()
We had a sort of funny appointment today. [name_f]My[/name_f] OB is roughly an hour away from where we live, so it isn’t exactly convenient, especially for short appointments. However, the one I saw last time (they have you see a team) had requested I come in in two weeks’ time. Thought it was odd but thought he just wanted to follow up with a couple of things we discussed. So we got there today, dealing with the remnants of a snow storm, and he was like “wait, I just saw you! Why did I want to see you again so soon?!” Neither of us had any idea so he just got out the doppler and listened to the baby’s heartbeat for a minute. We drove all that way for that! DH and I had a good laugh and looked at it as at least we got an extra check up on our little girl!
@OliveShoot[name_f][/name_f] [name_f]Birdie[/name_f] [name_f]Katherine[/name_f] is so cute!! ![]()
15 weeks today. I have definitely felt movement this past week. It feels like little flutterings or light tapping. I’m very excited because it took quite a while (or so it seemed) with my first. I also have a “bump”. I was already fat to begin with, though, so it just looks like I’ve gained weight in the stomach to outsiders!
[name_f][/name_f][name_m]Mat[/name_m] clothes will be in order in a few weeks. Over the weekend, I took my son to swimming class and was feeling a bit snug in my swimsuit. I really don’t want to buy a mat swimsuit just to have for a few months, so it will be Dad’s turn to do swimming lessons for a while ![]()
@turnip[name_f][/name_f] [name_f][/name_f]- [name_m]Just[/name_m] popping in to say that I bought a maternity tankini style top for swimming and it was built to be nursing friendly! I still wear it 9 months post partum and it’s been great! With the right style you can get a lot of use out of it, and being in the pool later in pregnancy (especially as summer comes!) can be so relaxing and relieve those aches/pains! I ordered mine from Old [name_f]Navy[/name_f] of all places.
I’m at 8 + 1 today! But it’s also the first day that I started gagging at my desk at work and had to run to the bathroom. I still haven’t actually puked, but we’re getting dangerously close. [name_f]My[/name_f] first prenatal visit is 3 weeks from today though and I can’t wait!
Thank you so much, feels good to hear that! I’m almost 20w and still hasn’t definitively felt the baby, can’t wait until [name_f]Tuesday[/name_f] to have my US done.
When I had an anterior placenta I didn’t feel movement until closer to the 24 week mark. With my 2nd that didn’t have an anterior placenta I could feel her at 13/14 weeks. So placenta placement can definitely make a huge difference!
I was almost 25w before I definitively felt my first that I just had and I didn’t have an anterior placenta! It really varies!
