Baby Berries Due July/August/September 2025

We made it to 32 weeks already! It’s really getting real now but, as nervous as I am for such a big change in our lives, I’m ready to be done with pregnancy! [name_f]My[/name_f] ribcage feels like it is being ripped and stretched constantly and I can barely move by the late afternoon just because of the general pain my body is in. It is incredibly easy to overdo it, even just by vacuuming. I feel so useless sometimes… but recognize that growing a little human is no small task on the body.

Last appointment suggested baby girl is doing well, so there’s that at least. I kind of wish we could book one of those 3D/4D ultrasounds to see her little face before delivery but I don’t know if I can justify spending around $140 when we’re a matter of weeks away from seeing her in person…lol

I had another prenatal visit yesterday. I’m 23 weeks along and our anatomy scan looked perfect a few weeks ago. I totally understand why people enjoy the second trimester because if not for this pregnant belly and feeling kicks, I could almost forget I’m pregnant! I love that the kicks are starting to feel more like real movement now instead of just little flutters. I also found out that I have a posterior placenta, so I’m getting to feel all these kicks pretty well!

I’m also starting to get a little overwhelmed again by the reality of bringing a child into this world. I’m so incredibly excited to meet him or her but it’ll be so much work and responsibility once they arrive, and I’m starting to get sort of nervous again.

[name_f]My[/name_f] dear mom passed this week. I am 32 weeks pregnant w/ her second grandbaby. I feel all the feelings from grief. It seems like every part of the cycle is hitting me at once.

[name_f][/name_f]

On top of it all, I have to fly to the US (24 hour journey one-way w/ longest flight at 14 hours) alone next week to go through her belongings. I have been in a lot of pain from my back/hips/legs and so hobbling around the airports alone sounds scary. I just hope our plane doesn’t go up in flames and that I can avoid blood clots.

[name_f]My[/name_f] beautiful baby girl Eli@ was born last week, at just 36w and weighting 5lb1oz, we are both doing fantastic and already home. The birth was an induction with oxytocin because of preeclampsia, the epidural failed and I went through some very rough hours, the expulsive phase was so wild and fast and emotive, and my recovery is being really easy compared to my first birth. I was really dreaming with an spontanous birth this time but I am really happy with how everything has happened. [name_f]My[/name_f] older son, who just turned two, is having a very emotional few days and having some really difficult tantrums, but can’t stop kissing his little sister and talking about her, its the sweetest thing I’ve ever watched.

That is AMAZING news. I am glad that the recovery went well. It warms my heart hearing about Eli@ and her big brother. [name_f]My[/name_f] son is 2.5 and I really look forward to those moments

AISP: [name_f][/name_f] congratulations! I’m glad to hear you both are doing well and were able to go home! I hope things are continuing to go well for you!

[name_f]My[/name_f] little [name_f]Isla[/name_f] was born nearly 3 weeks ago now. She very unexpectedly came 10 days before my scheduled c-section and ended up spending over a week in the NICU. It was a very difficult situation and not at all how I had imagined it going this time. She is thankfully thriving now. [name_f]My[/name_f] own recovery has been a bit rough (note: full body hives suck) but DH and I are thankful to all be home together again.

[name_f][/name_f]

Hoping all is going well with everyone else!

I’m currently 30 weeks and loving how active this little baby has been recently! So many wiggles. I’ve had some feet reach up to my ribs a couple times though, so I’m hoping that doesn’t get too painful as baby gets stronger!

Congratulations @namergirl3

It is so exciting to see all the little babies. [name_f]My[/name_f] caesar is scheduled for 6 [name_m]August[/name_m]. Last night i was having strong cramps but i think it was just gas, lol. [name_f]Hope[/name_f] he stays in there the whole time!

[name_f]My[/name_f] boy showed up one day past his due date early in the morning. He was born on Labour [name_f]Day[/name_f]. The irony of being in labour on Labour [name_f]Day[/name_f] is just funny.

I know we don’t get much posting in this group, but I’m really excited to be coming up on 37 weeks. I know as a first time mom, the statistics say I’ll like be pregnant for at least another 3 weeks, but at 37, I’ll be considered “full-term” and can give birth at the midwife-led birth center we’re attending. I’m so ready to meet this little babe!

@jules95[name_f][/name_f] You never know! [name_f]My[/name_f] water broke bang on 38 weeks, even as a first timer. How exciting to be coming to the end of this part of the journey!

You’re almost there! So exciting to be about to meet the love of your life .

Too bad this thread is so quiet, how is everyone doing? My baby is 2.5 months old so not a newborn anymore  but she’s beautiful and healthy.

EDIT: can’t believe i write that she’s healthy and not 15 minutes later my oldest is down with a fever :woman_facepalming:t2: please please baby don’t caught it!

@AlSP[name_f][/name_f] Oh no! I hope your oldest recovers quickly and no one else gets sick. It is crazy how quickly they grow though! I have a nephew who’s six months old and he changes so much every time I see him.

Congrats @Maren2019[name_f][/name_f]! [name_f][/name_f] [name_f]Hope[/name_f] all is going well as you adjust!

[name_f][/name_f]

@jules95[name_f][/name_f] that’s such a great, reassuring milestone! Hang in there these last weeks :pink_heart:

[name_f][/name_f]

I haven’t been on here much at all. Miss [name_f]Isla[/name_f] has been a Velcro baby so I feel like I’m always moving around doing something, with her in arms. Oddly enough, despite that, we have a decent enough schedule and I theoretically get more rest than I did during my son’s newborn stage [name_f][/name_f] it doesn’t make sense sometimes.

[name_f][/name_f]

Anyway, at 9 weeks, she’s doing pretty well! We do have to schedule an appointment with a surgeon, as she has an umbilical hernia :frowning:[name_f][/name_f] her pediatrician said they typically resolve themselves but she feels it would be worth getting looked at. I hope everything goes okay…she’s been through so much already.
