They are all beautiful and I like them all, but I [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Bridget[/name] [name]Caroline[/name]. The connection to your husband makes it even more a winner for me

I picked [name]Bridget[/name] [name]Caroline[/name], but [name]Violet[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name] and [name]Norah[/name] [name]Rose[/name] are so pretty too. It was hard to choose! I think the connection to your husband is sweet and I really like the name [name]Bridget[/name] a bit more than [name]Violet[/name] and [name]Norah[/name].

I picked [name]Lorelei[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name], but all of these names are gorgeous.

I like [name]Violet[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name] the best, but if you’d struggle with nicknames, that might be tough- I voted for [name]Bridget[/name] [name]Caroline[/name]. Classic, not too popular and very nice meaning. However, you’ve got a really great group of names, they’re all beautiful.

Thank you for all the compliments! I also really liked [name]Finley[/name] [name]Rose[/name], because [name]Finley[/name] is an Irish name, and one of the only Irish names I liked or could pronounce, but my husband was not too crazy about it.

I like all your other choices better than [name]Finley[/name] [name]Rose[/name]. It’s pretty, but I prefer a more distinctly feminine name, and I actually prefer [name]Finley[/name] for a boy. Your poll choices are all beautiful…hard to pick! I went with [name]Violet[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name]; I wouldn’t ever think to call [name]Violet[/name] either “[name]Vi[/name]” or “[name]Lettie[/name].” I think you could politely correct anyone who does this. I do like the connection [name]Bridget[/name] [name]Caroline[/name] has to your husband too. Basically any of your choices are going to be lovely!

@saraallison, if you could come up with a sweet nickname for [name]Violet[/name] I’d love to hear it!! I want my baby to have a cute nn with any name she’s given, but can’t come up with a single one for [name]Violet[/name] that I like!

I love [name]Violet[/name], so I voted for [name]Violet[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name]. I also really like [name]Bridget[/name] [name]Caroline[/name]. I honestly can’t think of any nicknames for [name]Violet[/name] besides the ones you dislike. I think [name]Violet[/name] is cute enough without a nickname!

Hmm, I am not really a nn person, so I wasn’t thinking about a nn for [name]Violet[/name]. I just think it’s a pretty name, as a whole. I guess you could kind of stretch it and encourage a nn of “Vee” or “[name]Vivi[/name],” if you liked those. Other than those, I can’t really think of anything else outside of what you dislike. I am liking [name]Bridget[/name] [name]Caroline[/name] more and more too.

My vote would go to [name]Lorelei[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name] if it was spelled that way, but the [name]Lorelai[/name] spelling really bothers me, so I voted for [name]Violet[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name]. I think that [name]Vivi[/name] could be a cute nickname for [name]Violet[/name]. It’s a stretch, but you could use Oli / [name]Ollie[/name] or [name]Lolly[/name]. I knew a [name]Charlotte[/name] who went by [name]Lottie[/name] once, and that would also be a bit of a stretch but it could work, although if you don’t like [name]Lettie[/name] you may well not like [name]Lottie[/name]. [name]Violet[/name] called [name]Vita[/name]? I’ve seen it used as a nickname for [name]Victoria[/name]. This is totally out of left field, but I suppose there’s Viley, in the vein of [name]Kylie[/name] or [name]Miley[/name].

I voted for [name]Lorelai[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name], but my second choice would be [name]Lila[/name] [name]Rose[/name].

[name]Lila[/name] [name]Rose[/name] [name]Allen[/name] is gorgeous

I voted for [name]Violet[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name]. I also like [name]Lorelei[/name] and [name]Lila[/name] (particularly [name]Lila[/name]), but they are both quite “L” heavy with the ln [name]Allen[/name]. [name]Violet[/name] [name]Allen[/name] just sounds so cute.

I have issues with nns for [name]Violet[/name], too, and it’s a high contender for me, as well. I don’t like [name]Vi[/name], and I like [name]Lettie[/name] okay, but I like [name]Lottie[/name] so much more. If I ever ended up with a [name]Charlotte[/name] AND a [name]Violet[/name], I could never do [name]Lottie[/name] and [name]Lettie[/name]. [name]Vivi[/name] could work. I’ve seen [name]Ivy[/name] as a nn for [name]Violet[/name], and [name]Lola[/name], but I don’t really understand where either of those nns come from. I do think [name]Aya[/name] could work, as a stretch (said like EYE-ah), due to the prominent “EYE” sound in [name]Violet[/name], but it’s a bit of a stretch. Honestly, though, if I was blessed with a little [name]Violet[/name], she would probably go by just [name]Violet[/name].

Good luck!

[name]Bridget[/name] [name]Caroline[/name]. I love it.

[name]Lorelai[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name] is hard to say- the lie and e stumble over each other. Same with [name]Nora[/name] [name]Rose[/name]- two r’s in a row. Same with [name]Violet[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name] actually-it sounds awkward if you say it fast. I think [name]Lila[/name] [name]Rose[/name] is lovely and prefer it over [name]Bridget[/name] [name]Caroline[/name] by sound, but [name]Bridget[/name] [name]Caroline[/name] sounds fine.

I like the idea of your first daughter having the initials of your husband. I wanted to offer another suggestion and I can use some help myself. I was thinking maybe [name]Brea[/name] [name]Colette[/name] or [name]Bria[/name] [name]Colette[/name]. I hope you and your husband like it! As for myself, I need help with the spelling of the name, Eevee. I have seen it spelled Ehvie. Any other suggestions?

@ashthedreamer Thanks for your suggestions! I agree I could probably just call her [name]Violet[/name] with no nn, however I’d be worried someone would try to give her one when I wasn’t looking…sound ridiculous? It probably is. I think my favorite nn of your suggestions is [name]Vivi[/name], with it sounding like vivee with a short i.

@itsallnaname [name]Brea[/name] is a pretty name, but I love [name]Colette[/name]! I think [name]Brea[/name] is too “out there” for my conservative husband however. With Eevee, how is it pronounced? Is it a nn for something like [name]Evelyn[/name] or [name]Eve[/name]? [name]Both[/name] of those are beautiful names! If its its own name, I think there would be some confusion on pronunciation. Right now, I’m thinking about job interviews, and applying for them. Its such a tough market out there, if they looked at her resumee and couldn’t pronounce her name, would they bother giving her a call back? It might sound shallow, and I certainly don’t mean to be insulting. Of course her credentials I’m sure would WOW them enough that they’d have to call her back, but that’s my thought, dumb as it might be. Of course if Eevee is a nn, then I’m sure she would never have this problem. Sorry to make things difficult.

I was a [name]Vivi[/name] growing up and I hated it. It doesn’t come out clearly when said and is hard to hear… But maybe that’s just me.
