Our daughter was born on 6th [name_f]October[/name_f] and still has no name.
She looks like a little [name_f]Elf[/name_f] so I’ve taken to calling her [name_f]Elfie[/name_f]. I dont like any of the longer versions of this name like Elphaba.
Our other girls are called [name_f]Tallulah[/name_f] and [name_f]Meadow[/name_f].
Looking for something not so popular and possible nature themed.
Any help please?

[name_f]Delphi[/name_f] nn ‘[name_f]Elfie[/name_f]’

[name_f]Etta[/name_f]
[name_f]My[/name_f] top choices for you would be:
-
Ɛlvᴀ would be cool as it has a couple of meanings, one of which would relate. In Irish, it means leader of the elves.
-
[name_f]Elvina[/name_f] means elf friend.
Other options I found are:
-
[name_u]Avery[/name_u] / [name_f]Averie[/name_f] means ruler of the elves.
-
[name_f]Alara[/name_f] means water fairy.
-
[name_f]Ella[/name_f] also has multiple meanings, one of which is fairy maiden.
-
[name_f]Parisa[/name_f] means like a fairy.
-
[name_u]Risa[/name_u] is multi-faceted as well. The prevalent meaning here would be sea fairy.
I second [name_f]Delphine[/name_f] “[name_f]Elfie[/name_f]”. [name_f]Delphine[/name_f] is also a flower, i think sometimes that is forgotten.
Or perhaps:
[name_f]Blossom[/name_f]
[name_f]Zinnia[/name_f]
[name_f]Lavender[/name_f]
[name_f]Fern[/name_f]
[name_f]Hazel[/name_f]

Oooh i second [name_f]Estelle[/name_f] [name_f]Felicity[/name_f]!!
What about [name_f]Alba[/name_f]?? [name_m]German[/name_m] meaning of [name_f]Alba[/name_f] is [name_f]Elf[/name_f]. She could go by [name_f]Elfie[/name_f]
Elfie is cute, but too nickname-y for me personally. I really like the suggestion of [name_f]Delphine[/name_f] or [name_f]Delphie[/name_f], it really fits the theme and is a beautiful name! Or how about something like [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] [name_f]Fern[/name_f] nn [name_f]Elfie[/name_f]?
How about Elva? It means elf army. Elva also sounds nice with your other girls names.
There is also
Elfrida
Aoife - (which is Irish)
Elsie
Fauna
Frieda
Freya
I love Elva though.
Congratulations!
I think [name_f]Elva[/name_f] is really sweet. I think [name_f]Elva[/name_f] would be a great choice
I really like [name_f]Delphine[/name_f], [name_f]Delphinium[/name_f], [name_f]Elva[/name_f], and [name_f]Elvia[/name_f] too! [name_f]Elfie[/name_f] is an adorable nickname
Congratulations!
I would second, third or fourth the suggestion of [name_f]Delphine[/name_f] for [name_f]Elfie[/name_f], which is an absolutely adorable nickname by the by. Slightly more literal takes would be [name_u]Puck[/name_u] & [name_f]Pixie[/name_f], but I can imagine you’d find that ‘too much’.
Other suggestions…
Tallulah, [name_f]Meadow[/name_f] & [name_f]Posy[/name_f]
[name_f]Tallulah[/name_f], [name_f]Meadow[/name_f] & [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f]
[name_f]Tallulah[/name_f], [name_f]Meadow[/name_f] & [name_f]Daphne[/name_f]
[name_f]Tallulah[/name_f], [name_f]Meadow[/name_f] & [name_f]Gaia[/name_f]
[name_f]Tallulah[/name_f], [name_f]Meadow[/name_f] & [name_f]Poppy[/name_f]
[name_f]Tallulah[/name_f], [name_f]Meadow[/name_f] & [name_f]Zinnia[/name_f]
[name_f]Tallulah[/name_f], [name_f]Meadow[/name_f] & [name_f]Calanthe[/name_f]
[name_f]Tallulah[/name_f], [name_f]Meadow[/name_f] & [name_f]Lilou[/name_f]
[name_f]Tallulah[/name_f], [name_f]Meadow[/name_f] & [name_f]Fleur[/name_f]
[name_f]Tallulah[/name_f], [name_f]Meadow[/name_f] & [name_f]Evanthe[/name_f]

[name_f]Tallulah[/name_f], [name_f]Meadow[/name_f] & [name_f]Lotus[/name_f]
[name_f]Tallulah[/name_f], [name_f]Meadow[/name_f] & [name_u]Camille[/name_u]
[name_f]Tallulah[/name_f], [name_f]Meadow[/name_f] & [name_f]Neve[/name_f]
My first thought was [name_f]Elva[/name_f] and I see I’m not alone! I think this would be so perfect for you! Congratulations!
What about [name_f]Elva[/name_f]?
Delphine with [name_f]Elfie[/name_f] as a nickname is so cute (but not too cute, [name_f]Delphine[/name_f] works for a serious grown woman, too!).
Other suggestions I haven’t seen yet:
From [name_f]Elfie[/name_f] to [name_f]Elsie[/name_f]. To me this transforms it from sweet baby name to one that grows up well, too.
Fiona
I love this name in general and it picks up the “Fi” sound enough that I think you can keep using [name_f]Elfie[/name_f] as a family nickname
If you want to get really literal with it, you could go for [name_f]Elle[/name_f] [name_f]Fiona[/name_f]!
Finally, this one is not my style personally, but you could shift [name_f]Elfie[/name_f] to [name_u]Alfie[/name_u], I think that could work as a boys-to-girls name (like [name_u]Charlie[/name_u]). Or could be short for [name_f]Alfrida[/name_f].
Congratulations on your sweet little “[name_f]Elfie[/name_f].”
Elva instantly came to mind! Congratulations!
Elfie is such a sweet name.
If you want somthing that means [name_f]Elf[/name_f] how about
Luela/Luella?!
Congrats!
Elfie is such an adorable nickname, and I love your older girls’ names!
Here are a few names that haven’t been suggested yet that you may like:
- Tallulah, [name_f]Meadow[/name_f], and [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f] (This is the first name that I thought of as a match for your daughters’ names. It means “heart; daughter of the sea,” so it has a bit of a nature-y meaning. It is heard of but not super popular–It was not in the top 1000 U.S. girls’ names in 2019.)
- Tallulah, [name_f]Meadow[/name_f], and [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f] ([name_f]Seraphina[/name_f] is also not in the top 1000 names but is heard of. [name_f]Elfie[/name_f] could naturally be a nickname out of [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f]–[name_f]Effie[/name_f] is nickname for [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f], and [name_f]Elfie[/name_f] is not far from that.)
- Tallulah, [name_f]Meadow[/name_f], and [name_u]Phaedra[/name_u] ([name_u]Phaedra[/name_u] also feels like a name that could have the nickname “[name_f]Elfie[/name_f].” It means “bright,” but I feel like it could also have fairylike origins, as it starts with “phae.”)
Love the suggestions of [name_f]Elva[/name_f], [name_f]Alba[/name_f] and [name_f]Delphine[/name_f]. Other names I like with [name_f]Tallulah[/name_f] and [name_f]Meadow[/name_f] (sorry for any repeats):
