I am thinking of using [name]Bentley[/name] for a baby girl. I really like [name]Bentley[/name] [name]Rose[/name]. Thoughts?
To each his own, I guess, but I’m not a fan at all. [name]Do[/name] you watch 16 and Pregnant/Teen Mom? There is a baby named [name]Bentley[/name] on there, and on one of the message boards I visit, almost everyone had the comment, “Adorable baby, awful name.” Certainly it’s not the worst I’ve ever heard, but to me it’s a last name that does not make a good first one.
Oh! [name]Bentley[/name]…for a girl? [name]May[/name] I ask what appeals to you about it? Is it the strong B sound, the -ey ending, the surname feel? I just cannot endorse [name]Bentley[/name], or any [name]Ben[/name] name, for a girl, personally. It feels entirely masculine to me. Sorry!

Oh! I’ve only seen the season with [name]Maci[/name] and [name]Bentley[/name], [name]Farrah[/name] and [name]Sophia[/name], [name]Amber[/name] and [name]Leah[/name], and [name]Catelynn[/name] and (adopted) [name]Carly[/name]. In addition to loving how [name]Maci[/name] says [name]Bentley[/name]'s - what is it, BIEHNT-lee? - name, I really loved that [name]Farrah[/name] always called [name]Sophia[/name] by her full name. Something distinguished in a [name]Sophia[/name], I think! But, there was a [name]Nevaeh[/name]?!?

Yes, there was a [name]Nevaeh[/name] this season, as well as a [name]Jace[/name] and a [name]Lyle[/name] so far. We’ll see what tomorrow’s episode brings. 
At first, I could only think of the car when I heard the name, but now, I’m getting used to [name]Bentley[/name] as a boys’ name. It’s not my personal style and I’ve never heard it on a girl before, but I don’t see why you couldn’t name a baby girl [name]Bentley[/name] if it’s the name you love. (It’s still predominantly a car name to me, though, which makes it hard for me to see on a girl–and I’m guessing I’m not alone–but maybe that will change as [name]Bentley[/name] becomes more popular as a name.)

Oh i love teen mom! This season has made me more sad with names then last though, i thought last season was actually surprisingly good! [name]Lyle[/name] was a little odd, but acceptable, [name]Jace[/name] seemed very tryndee to me (just the name though, not sure why), then [name]Nevaeh[/name], oh goodness this name makes me cringe, the girl ([name]Valerie[/name] i think?) said “I’m naming her [name]Nevaeh[/name] because its [name]Heaven[/name] spelling backwards!” AHHHH! :(, Last week was [name]Aubree[/name] [name]Sky[/name]. I’m sorry to say but many people look on naming children brand names is lower class. So you would be giving a girl that preconception.
I would not name a girl (or a boy) a name that starts with “Bent.” I don’t care about the car, although expensive and exclusive brand names tend to come off as a form of trying to blend in with the elite and failing, “fake being classy” is more transparent than people who use these names seem to understand.
This might be a family name, I don’t know. It certainly sounds more “family” than car to me, you just never see a [name]Bentley[/name] car around, and people who talk about expensive cars usually don’t even talk about Bentleys, although everyone seems to know it’s an expensive car if you say [name]Bentley[/name]! I’ve never seen this teen mom show, but I have seen “The Jeffersons” - [name]Bentley[/name] was the English man who lived down the hall. It never seemed weird to me that was his name, but I think this is a different time. Naming a girl [name]Bentley[/name] reminds me of the thread we had a while ago with twin girls and a brother all named after luxury hotels. All I can think of are very bad jokes. Sorry to say it also sounds like the kind of name people use for their dog.
My dog (1/2 poodle- 1/2 brussel griffon) is named [name]Bentley[/name]. I picked it out & It’s a cute name on him (he is 6 years old). I have never heard it used on a person until I saw it on teen mom. I personally could not name a girl [name]Bentley[/name]- their are so, so many beautiful names out there!!! But, each person has to decide what makes them happy =0)
