I am stuck [name_m]Arthur[/name_m] was really easy to decide on. DH and I loved it almost immediately for having a history, being strong but not macho, sounding somewhat kind? It’s classic but unexpected? Forgotten old?
To give you an idea of our style, here are some names we consider
[name_m]Hugo[/name_m] - love, but has been used in the family
[name_m]Felix[/name_m] - I love, DH not
[name_u]Percy[/name_u] - DH loves. I like it, but not sure if it sounds too much like a purce?
[name_m]Edward[/name_m] - kind of aligns with [name_m]Arthur[/name_m]… but I am not sold. [name_m]Don[/name_m]'t like [name_m]Ed[/name_m] and [name_u]Twilight[/name_u] [name_m]Don[/name_m]'t like [name_m]Edwin[/name_m] or [name_m]Edmund[/name_m] either.
[name_m]Henry[/name_m] - love, but I personally know 5 little [name_m]Henry[/name_m]'s
[name_m]Harvey[/name_m] - like, but I don’t think this name is usable this decade
[name_u]Huxley[/name_u] - DH loves. I am not sure it goes well with [name_m]Arthur[/name_m]
I also like [name_m]Matthew[/name_m], [name_u]Michael[/name_u] and [name_m]Alexander[/name_m], but I believe it’s a little overdone with my generation.
[name_m]Just[/name_m] realized there are a lot of H names, but it’s definitely not a requirement!
I think you have a great list. [name_m]Edmund[/name_m] is super handsome. Not sure how you feel and the nickname [name_m]Ned[/name_m]? [name_m]Harvey[/name_m] is certainly usable if that’s what you love!
[name_m]Hugo[/name_m], [name_m]Felix[/name_m] and [name_m]Henry[/name_m] are really lovely and each goes well with [name_m]Arthur[/name_m]. Some other ideas:
I don’t think anyone has mentioned it, but [name_m]Arthur[/name_m] and [name_m]Caspian[/name_m] (nn [name_u]Kit[/name_u] maybe) are an absolutely dreamy sibset! That being said, [name_m]Caspian[/name_m] is a little out there aha so maybe [name_m]Christopher[/name_m] or [name_m]Haden[/name_m] /any spelling variation would be more to your liking!
Edgar - alternative to [name_m]Edward[/name_m], old fashioned but handsome
[name_m]Hugo[/name_m] - starts with H, refined like [name_m]Arthur[/name_m]
[name_u]Tristan[/name_u] - knight in Arthurian legends
[name_m]Christophe[/name_m] - feels classic, but not as common as [name_u]Christian[/name_u]
My personal favorites are:
[name_m]Arthur[/name_m] & [name_m]Hugo[/name_m]
[name_m]Arthur[/name_m] & [name_u]Tristan[/name_u]
I like [name_m]Henry[/name_m], even if it’s common, you can use a special nickname like [name_m]Hal[/name_m] or [name_m]Hank[/name_m].You could even consider [name_m]Enzo[/name_m] as a nn for [name_m]Henry[/name_m].
I love the H feel you have

[name_m]Harlan[/name_m]/ [name_u]Harland[/name_u] *

[name_m]Isaac[/name_m]
[name_m]Elijah[/name_m]
Arthur is a wonderful name. Here are my thoughts on your list:
Hugo-Cute, but I guess off the table.
Felix-I’m not a huge fan. I think that it sounds a little light next to [name_m]Arthur[/name_m].
Percy-It’s not my personal favorite, but I never thought of it sounding like purse. I just think it’s a little childish. I do prefer [name_m]Percival[/name_m] nn [name_u]Percy[/name_u].
Edward-I wouldn’t worry too much about the [name_u]Twilight[/name_u] thing. [name_m]Edward[/name_m] has been a well known name long before that series, & it’s kind of on its way out anyway. If you don’t like [name_m]Ed[/name_m], you could call him [name_m]Ned[/name_m] or [name_u]Teddy[/name_u] exclusively. [name_u]Or[/name_u] [name_m]Ward[/name_m]?
Henry-I know brothers named [name_m]Arthur[/name_m] & [name_m]Henry[/name_m]. It’s a charming name, but I also know about a million.
Harvey-I don’t know. It sounds a little goofy to me anyway, but I agree that it may not be ready for a comeback just yet. Too soon.
Huxley-I don’t think that it doesn’t go w/Arthur. It doesn’t sound as classic, but it wouldn’t be a deal breaker if you did like it.
We have a few Arthurs in my family tree. Here are a few of the related names (siblings, parents). Maybe you might find some inspiration in one of them. Good luck!
Edmund is actually growing on me! I will test it for a week.
[name_m]Albert[/name_m] is nice, but might be a little too similar to [name_m]Arthur[/name_m].
Like [name_m]Leopold[/name_m]. I think It has the same warmth as [name_m]Arthur[/name_m]. [name_u]Jude[/name_u] and [name_u]Rory[/name_u] are interesting.
I LOVE [name_u]Tristan[/name_u] on its own! Would it be too arthurian of a theme? I am also not sure it works with the last name.
[name_m]Graham[/name_m] is lovely. It also has the “warmth”, but unfortunately it has been used in the family recently along with [name_m]Henry[/name_m]
